I started my Saturday morning with a flat tire due to a screw in the tread and several tire centers in the vicinity were unable to help me, asking me to schedule an appointment for another day. This facility was not only able to get me in right away, but they patched up my tire and replaced it and handed me my keys with a literal smile. I was in and out in less than 90 minutes (had lunch next door while I waited). The customer service during my entire visit was above and beyond. This discount tire has always been great to me. The guys behind the counter have always been helpful. Today I walked in when they were busy (per usual for saturdays) and asked for my four tires to be replaced. They got me in. When I went to pick it up. Dillion provided great service. Checked in to make sure I had been helped and from what I could see was managing multiple people/phones/tasks at once. While I was in the middle of moving, I took a load of trash to the dump and came away with an extra nail in my trailer tire. I decided to swing past Discount Tire to have the nail removed and the tire patched. When I arrived they were on a long wait and offered to put my spare on for me, to leave the affected tire or simply drop off the trailer so I would not have to wait. It was at this point that I realized the keys for both the trailer hitch and the spare tire were at the new home down in Chandler. Michael was so helpful that he immediately offered to help the technicians in the service bay to expedite my tire repair and get me ready to go back to moving. So here's the story: One typical Thursday, I take my car in to my usual Discount Tire on 16th & Camelback for a routine rotation and balancing. They get done with everything in 10 minutes despite having a full waiting room. I think, jeez scheduling an appointment really pays off! So I'm driving home later that afternoon on the 202 and I notice my steering wheel vibrating like a video game controller. I have to visit a store for my work up in Scottsdale the next day, so I figure I'll get it checked out by the staff at this Discount location. I am soooo glad I made that decision! The staff here was able to discover that the other guys NEVER EVEN BALANCED MY TIRES AFTER ROTATION, and were able to send me driving smooth on my way free of charge. I asked them how the other location could miss such a crucial step, and they advised that they really didn't know what to say. Im a single young woman and came in at 11:30 for a free tire repair on tires I bought at another Discount Tire location and was told it would be a 3 hour worst case scenario wait. I have been here 4 hours and Im still 8th in line. People are being placed in front of me that came in later that don't have free repairs or appointments. I don't trust this location to do the right thing by their clients. I had to call them out to get service. Avoid this location if you have a free repair they will just keep placing new tire clients in front of you even if they don't have an appointment if they are busy. I went back to discount tire today to have The four tires that I bought three weeks ago rebalanced because they were not properly balanced when I purchased them. The assistant manager chuck seemed irritated and was very short with me. At most places of service when you complain the company does everything they can to make the situation right. Apparently not with discount tire. When I arrived I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour needless to say I wasted another hour of my life because of a mistake made by Discount Tire. I found a screw on the rear driver side, so I brought my car in. They said it's an easy fix, fortunately the screw was impaled sideways, no real damage to my run-flats. Drove back home on the freeway, whole car was vibrating rapidly, steering wheels and the car frame! Went to the nearest discount tire near my place, they said my tires were installed back on at the wrong direction AND it wasn't adjusted/aligned at all. How..? Tires is what you work on every day, every hour, how can an employee screw it all up. Unbelievable. What's the point of spending $300 on warranties when this is the type of service I get. read more

This last time I made a 2:30 appointment a week in advance and my car was not taken back to the bay until 3:05. Discovered one of my tires was rapidly losing air this morning and headed over to Discount Tire to get it fixed. I was greeted promptly by the store manager who took down all the information and said they could have it ready in a couple hours. Worked out perfect for me as my partner had followed me there in our other car, assuming it would take a little time. It was Saturday, one of their busiest days and my car is less than a year old so there was no upside for them. I didn't buy the tires there and won't be in need of tires anytime soon as little as I drive. Just like they said, I received a text about 2 hours later telling me my car was done. This review is not about pricing. Although hard to beat their pricing, if you go to a mom and pop shop I'm sure they'll beat it by a dollar or 2. But that will probably cost you on the customer service side. And that's what this review is about. I had a great experience at this location. Even though I came in at the very last minute of the day, they offered to get it done right away. I decided to drop off and come back the next day. As soon as I came in the next day my tire was ready to go and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I was really blown away with how organized this guys are. Even though they look young, they really displayed professionalism, knowledge, experience and friendliness. I have visited many Discount Tire Stores nationwide and I have never seen this good of a team. I hope I don't have to come back as that would mean I have another flat tire. I originally was aiming to drive to the dealership where I bought my vehicle to repair a flat. As I was driving past Discount Tire, I decided to pull in...comes to find out (if the flat is repairable, they do it at no cost) it was free. Both service professionals were busy when I stepped into this fine establishment. Mike provided extraordinary customer service (I was wearing an all weather hoodie too). I felt like I drove with a Lamborghini. 20minutes past and Izzy handed my keys to me as if I was the president of Uganda (to say this place treats their customers just great would be an understatement). Spoke to Jacob and he informed me that he fixed the balance key (which seemed like a flux capacitor). Even though it was broken in a zip lock bag, he handed it to me as if it were a precious ornament. When I moonwalked outside to retrieve my spaceship, Orlando drove my car up to...at this moment I felt like I was in another world. My tire pressure light went on this afternoon when I went to get in my car - I drove over to discount tire and their air check station was closed but one of the employees stopped what he was doing and put air in the tire. I knew there had to be a leak for the tire pressure to be so low so I came back a little later and had them pull off the tire to see if there was a leak in it. There was a small leak which they repaired at no cost. I've used this location many times in the past and they really know how to treat their customers. I've never been disappointed. I got the date wrong (appt was for tomorrow) but they didn't tell me and checked me confirming my slow puncture will be checked within 30 mins. 1 hour later, I went to ask what's going on and they tell me my appt is for tomorrow.
