I strongly recommend avoiding this Firestone location. Over multiple visits, I experienced poor service, inconsistent inspections, and questionable recommendations--often for services that had already been completed. Most concerning was spending nearly $1,500 on struts and an alignment before a long drive, only to discover shortly after that the alignment was still off. Another shop confirmed the issue. When I called back, this Firestone was dismissive and only agreed to look at the car because of the lifetime alignment--implying they wouldn't have addressed their own mistakes otherwise. In my experience, this location appears to take advantage of young women, assuming they won't question inflated charges or conflicting diagnostics. Ultimately, I had to go to a different Firestone to have the work redone correctly. This shop has consistently shown a lack of accountability and professionalism. Be cautious--this is not a place I would trust with my vehicle and any car they have worked on that is on the road should be concerned. read more

I went to firestone for an oil change and I was told that my battery failed their test and would need to be changed. I completely understood and decided on my own that I would change it and not have them do it, so take this with a grain of salt. However, about six hours later my car started hard, which it hadn't been doing at all. Which is what surprised me that I would need a new battery, generally you can tell when your battery is starting to go out, not always the case but generally. Then after sitting for an hour and a half in a parking lot I went out and it didn't start, didn't even turn over. I had someone in their car trying to jump me and we spent 10 minutes trying to jump the car and it wouldn't even turn over, that's how completely dead it was. I didn't ask for them to do a test on my battery, and upon doing research this test they did can push a battery over the edge that is already on its way out. Although, they told me I would need a new battery, the severity of it was not expressed. As well as, it being very weird that my battery appeared to have no problems until I visited this shop. Only 7 hours later, from leaving their shop, my battery is so dead using a car to jump it wouldn't work. My original visit was for the oil change, and I had to wait 45 extra minutes because they didn't have the oil filter (i made an appointment ahead of time, so how they didn't already have this surprised me), which was no big deal. However, when I got my car the pan the oil filter is in was a mess. Oil just left everywhere, that is not an acceptable service. If I wanted oil everywhere I would've just done it myself, not pay $80 for an oil service. I also felt I was treated like I was dumb because I am a woman in an auto shop, until I mentioned I have changed my brakes and control arms on my previous car. Assuring the manager that I knew what he was talking about. Overall, I am severely disappointed with this experience and will not be visiting this auto shop again. read more

Pedro took the time to show me exactly what needed to be replaced and explained what was urgent/non-urgent. The customer service was genuine and well worth the time/cost of the inspection. This place is close to my house and I started coming here because my warranty insurance covered my oil changes and they always have me in and out faster then the allotted time and recently I had my oil changed and I noticed an oil smell coming from the car and I called to see if I could bring it in and they said come on in and then when I got there, the one guy told me they were really busy, which it did look packed with cars in the garage part but another guy possibly named Zach no let's get her in real quick and had me in and out in 20 minutes with the repair, no charge. No communication on the status of my car from the time it was dropped off, to the time it was picked it up. My glove boxed was rummaged through and unlocked, whereas before i dropped it off, it was neat and locked up when the car was dropped off. My phone number and address was incorrectly taken and filed. When i made this aware to the manager who closed me out, he didnt offer to fix it. The front desk attendant quoted me a lower price than what I was charged for in the end. The alleged manager was not welcoming. I was not greeted when I came in, I was immediately asked "Which car is your sir". I didnt get a hello, how are you doing. Hi, Welcome to Firestone. Nothing. He seemed in a rush, and no one on one interaction with me since it was just us in there. I came the last 30 minutes of the shift to get my car, and this guy must've just been ready to go. I didnt like his attitude, he was hesistant to use my partners plus discount, and tried to tell me that it was only for people who worked in the local plaza, which was a lie. I ignored his comment and he proceeded to use my partner's plus discount by saying "Well, I guess they let anybody use it now." He didn't offer me and emailed receipt in which I had to ask for. Everything with him was below standards of an alledged manager of the store. Wasnt feeling his energy at all. He didnt explain anything with my car, or any of the recommendations for my vehicle. Had my car checked out because it was making a loud airplane like noise, they said it was the wheel bearings, I got a second opinion and they said it was not the wheel bearings and it was the rear differential. Turned out to be the rear differential so if I went with Firestone I would've spent $1,000's and the issue wouldn't be fixed and I would've had to spend even more to fix the problem. I thought I found a solid company but I forgot how quickly one salty employee who wants to try to get one over on a woman can ruin everything. You don't get to just add rotors to my brake service without asking me first & without having seen my car. You don't get to cop an attitude because I say no to this $300+ expense that you summarily decided needed to be done. You don't get to cop attitude & act put out & say that you guess you can call your supervisor to get permission to not do the rotors because you always do them. All of this after making me wait 15 mins to even be acknowledged because you were too busy inside the garage gossiping. And yes, it was gossiping. After all, I'm just a woman, right? Who would know better than a woman the difference between clear gossiping & working conversations. But I do thank you for reinforcing the stereotype of a woman trying to be taken advantage of at a car repair shop. Since I new in town was looking for a reliable auto shop I can take my car without paying dealership prices. Sooooo happy I found this place. I called to make an appointment after work and unlike other places they took me right away. I had an oil change and tires rotated and it only took them about 25-30mins!! The best part was They didn't try to upsell you things you don't need, and as a female, it's nice to know you won't get scammed. Would HIGHLY recommend this place, the service manager was super helpful and friendly (again not common with other chain auto shops) prices are responsible and the service is reliable, especially for my busy schedule. My tires arrived at separate times, so I had an appointment on two separate days. Even though I showed up for my appointment on time, car didn't go in until 45 minutes after Both days. What's an appointment for then? Not only was my glove box rifled through, but the cup holder insert that is for spare change/cigarette butts that easily flips open was forcibly broken in two. Didn't even bother to try and hide it by putting it back together just threw it back in the glove box in two pieces. Obvious much? Even the manager admitted that was nonsense and shouldn't be touched. But "couldn't have been the second guy because he was a master tech." Here's my favorite part though. My tires are supposed to be 36 psi in the front, and 34 in the back. I checked the psi this morning, and all of my tires were close to or at 50 psi. What in the royal fuckkk. Are you kidding me? You couldn't just look in the gas cap for the correct psi? Must've been that "master tech"... yeah, OK. Not a good experience, and not thrilled at all. 50 psi... Bought four new tires, surprised they didn't explode on the first pothole. Wasn't going to write a review, but they definitely earned this one. Have some integrity. John, the manager was a nice guy though and it wasn't his fault. Update: spent almost 3 years keeping these wheels perfect, $3500 per wheel. Currently cleaning my car, mainly all the gunk they left from the tire swap come to find out the front two tires have unfixable burn/clamp marks and a gouge on them, really impressed. Wtf read more

I ran behind to pick up my baby, they didn't update me nor did they get to it until I asked about it. They took three customers within the time that I have been waiting here. I went in for a oil change and the manager and other employee were not personable and didn't even go ever my invoice or the service of my vehicle, took my payment, gave me my keys and said good bye. Didn't even tell me where my car was parked. Just because I don't have a dick, doesn't give them the right to provide poor customer service. I had been going there for the past year and the manager Brandon was wonderful and explained the services in a professional manner without being condescending. He was transferred to another location. Waited to send this review because I wanted a second opinion. I came in in the morning for a inspection and oil change. I got put down for a pickup time for 6 hours later due to me mentioning I had work at that time and had to be out by then. When the manager realized I had been there for about 5 hours he directed a worker over to get started on my car. I had requested a full synthetic oil which my car takes and was running, I believe I got charged for a full synthetic(not super sure and also don't care) but come to find out they put a blend in. There were other "urgent" recommendations that they said I needed to address, I got a second opinion and none of those recommendations were true. read more

I took my car in for a lifetime alignment check today. I had an appointment that was for the 9 in morning, I was told 2-3 hours, pretty standard from previous shops. Thought nothing of it and left, didn't get word to come back until roughly 2 pm later today. I came in spoke to the service coordinator at the desk and he told me there were no issues, with the exception of my car needing specific bolts to adjust my camber. The bolts are the correct OE brand bolts. Besides that no issues... I get the my car and immediately notice somethings off, my driver door panel was partially removed and installed crudely. The surround for my inside door handle was sitting on the driver seat and the door lock pin guide is now missing.. So I go back in and ask what the problem was that they neglected to tell me about. So they decide to inform me that my car had issues with the key and it got stuck in the driver door handle. I asked why they didn't just call me and let me know so I could take a look before they ripped my interior apart. Got my brakes done in August and they were efficient but when my brakes started grinding again this weekend we called back to get details about a warranty we may have and get an appointment set up. After the person who answered repeated that we don't have a warranty five times, when we clarified we wanted the BRAKE PADS and not the ROTORS checked. We tried to tell him we will be able to talk about it at the appointment because we are moving right now, but the person on the phone spoke over us and repeating the same information about the rotors not being under warranty. After 5 minutes of him speaking over us and repeating the same information over and over, he hung up on us. We called back on the same phone and we were ignored until calling back on a different phone. We finally got an appointment set up after clarifying, again, we needed the brake pads checked out. Yes, we know the rotors aren't under warranty. Yes, we know a rock could've scratched them. But we just wanted a damn appointment and anything else could've been handled when we get to the appointment. Poor customer service, very bad attitude. Customer service representatives are people too, but when someone is trying to talk, let them talk. It would save everyone a lot of time. read more

I had my Mitsubishi towed the previous day at noon to Firestone as they are an Interstate Battery dealer and that was my battery that failed and had a broken post. I was getting a tremendous amount of blue and white sulfate particles on the positive terminal, a terrible amount of corrosion. I needed a new terminal besides the battery replacement. Long story short, my car was not ready yesterday. I called today at 3:00 pm today & it still wasn't ready. Called at 5:30, Sandra told me it should be ready at the end of the day, 7:00. She called at 7:10, the work was finished. Arriving, Sandra was nice and apologetic. I have enough stress currently in my life, I did not let this bother me. They had not charged me for the terminal replacement since it had taken so long. They had prorated my battery as they didn't have my date of purchase. I had brought my original receipt and Sandra reevaluated my bill and I ended up with not being charged anything at all. Mistakes or bad situations happen, no matter what. It is what a business does after a bad thing happens that makes it a business you will come back to or, just the opposite, one you will bad mouth to everybody. Sandra made a bad situation into a great situation. I commend Sandra and I commend Firestone for giving her the authority to amend a bad experience into a very good one. That is a good business with quality management and personnel to make you come back again. read more

Zero stars. Made an appointment for them to patch my tire after it went flat. Left the tire with them. Went home just to be called back 20 minutes later and told that my tire was "unpatchable" due to some made up reason. And he had a tire ready on standby for me to buy for $180 before tax. Told them not to touch anything! Went to pick my tire back up....took it to a tire shop on 7th and Dunlap. Where they patched it for FREE. And I have now driven over 1000 miles on it..no issues! Sunday afternoon I noticed a nail in my tire. The tire wasn't leaking, but I didn't want to wait to get it fixed. Sunday afternoon...where am I going to find a place that is open? Firestone to the rescue! I pulled in and asked if they could help on short notice. Sebastian said he could help and it would be fixed in about 30 minutes. As it turned out, the nail hadn't gone into the tire and was only stuck a little bit in the tread. No harm done, no repair needed. No charge! This location under performed on two separate brake job requests. The car is no better today then when I first took it there three weeks ago. Even the second time I requested them to make things better, there was no improvement. The staff did take plenty of time to replace everything else that could be replaced at a 75K service, but didn't improve the most important component on the car. read more

This shop is full of incompetent mechanics and a liar for a manager who's name is Pete. I had to bring my vehicle in 3 times for the exact same issue and it was never repaired. I provided engine codes to assist them with the repair and I was incredibly patient with how lousy a job they were doing. Each time I had dropped off my vehicle, I never received a call when it was ready for pick up. I had to call every single time. The very first time I picked it up, my check engine light was back on before I even left the lot. By the 3rd time, Pete the liar told me if they weren't successful this time that he would provide a refund (I have a witness he said this). Now when it came back on AGAIN, I call to request my refund as promised and he tells me he won't and proceeds to hang up on me. I was patient, polite, and gave them the benefit of the doubt and this is how that is repaid. Avoid this shop at all costs. Their mechanics obviously have no clue what they are doing and Pete is a terrible manager and honestly a terrible person for lying to people and trying to steal their money. There's a lot of negative reviews for no real good reason... I took my car here for a oil change and I also asked for an engine flush which apparently not many people have heard of there was a little bit of confusion around whether not they could do it but they did do it and they also replaced my headlight. The total cost for all of the services was less than the oil change itself how do I gotten it from my dealership so overall great service. Minus one star because of the confusion and it took a little bit long to get the whole thing done ... About three hours... But nonetheless it was done right and for a good value. read more
