I rescheduled my whole day to have the oil change done to my vehicle at 9AM. I arrived on time to the store, only to find out they do not have the personnel on site to do the oil change. They said they would call me when the personnel showed up to do the work. NEVER GOT A CALL! REALLY? WTF? Are you F'N kidding me!! This is not the first time this store has failed to deliver service on time due to no personnel to do the work. PEP BOYS should be out of business PERIOD!! 2 PEP BOYS stores in the MESA AZ area, I have now experienced, who can't seem to get the job done right the first time. And they think coming back at a different time to have the service done is okay. REALLY?? My time is worth nothing?? AND re-scheduling my whole day to have the service done is easy?? DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. POORLY MANAGED AND POOR AT SCHEDULING. An hour after closing time…read moretoday, they had 6-8 customers still there, one who'd also had an appointment from 10:00am - been there for 8 hours! I've been a Discount Tire customer for over 15 years, and I've had 3 of 3 terrible experiences here. I'm done with this location. #1 - Brought in aftermarket wheels & bought $1200 set of tires here. Manager tells me wheels can't safely be put on due to not enough thread engagement. I call the wheel manufacturer and vendor - they both say I have the correct lug nuts for those wheels. I then buy the tires at a different Discount Tire location, bring the same wheels and lug nuts in, Manager there says he's got the exact same setup on his truck, no issues, and puts them on in 45 mins. #2 - Schedule an appointment on a Saturday for alignment and road force because I had some significant vibration while driving. I'm told the alignment can't be done because the Hunter equipment isn't updated for 2026 vehicles. Road force balance checked, but apparently didn't happen. Asst Mgr tells me they could get road force to 17lbs if the put in the 5 mins of work to align the tire to the wheel, but they didn't do it because 25 lbs road force is in spec. If you're not familiar with road force balancing, this is like 25 lbs force hitting the bottom of your tire every revolution when you drive at speed. Always ask for this because they don't do it unless you ask. #3 - Today, after calling back 2-3 times over the past 2 weeks to see if they got their alignment equipment updated, which they said they did, I had another appointment scheduled for 2:15pm. At 5:30pm, I'm told it can't be done, serviceman says he tried following the instructions and it's too complicated for him to do. Just wasted 3 1/2 hours of my Saturday for essentially zero service. Vibrations still there or worse after balancing. Manager calls me back and tries to apologize saying they didn't have the necessary tools to do the alignment. IF YOU AREN'T PREPARED TO DO THE ALIGNMENT, DON'T ADVERTISE THAT YOU DO ALIGNMENTS. I'm done with this location, will not be coming back, even though it's closest to my home. I recommend no one go there because they do not know how to keep priority on people who make appointments, priority for customers with long history and spent $ thousands with Discount Tire. They take any walk-in and slot them in anywhere with no respect to valued customers.

I thought they put green if you have nitrogen definitely got charged for "air" just be prepared to pay about double the price of the actual tires I get you have to pay to install it but doesn't seem like a great deal.
