I would say this place is a nice and clean service center with friendly and knowledgeable employees. They did good work on my Jeep in a timely manner. I will try the closer one next time just for the tire rotation so I can see that service center and write a review on them otherwise I plan on coming here for some additional work. I was late to my appointment time by almost 45 minutes and they still got me right in. My ONLY complaint was the tire alignment the steering wheel still was not completely straight and off by about an inch. Gave me some excuse drive it for 5000-6000 miles it'll loosen up and be able to get it completely straight next time. In hindsight wish I hadn't given the employee a $10 tip for lunch only over the alignment issue.

Ms. Dailey was on her way back from Monroe Michigan. In the process of her trip back to Ohio Her vehicle started to malfunction. This was due to the Oil Pump Tensioner belt. The vehicle was taken to Bauman Ford for inspection and repair. February 15, 2025. The vehicle had was picked up and the repair was completed. I was to believe that this recall was taken care of and the issue with the vehicle was solved. August 2025. Myself and my bf received another recall notice from Ford. This was recall notice NHTSA 23V905. This recall had to do with the belt tensioner arm would fail. This would call a loss of oil engine pressure ad this would put the driver at risk. Sunday September 21, 2025. My Bf was driving the EcoSport and made about five miles down the road and the vehicle engine stopped forcing me to pull into someone's driveway. I had the vehicle towed to Bauman Ford in Genoa 22110 OH-51 Genoa Ohio 43430. Monday September 22, 2025. I received a call from Bauman ford genoa service department. I talked to Todd. He told me that one of his technicians looked at my vehicle and that he believed nothing was wrong with the vehicle. I proceeded to go up and take the vehicle for a test drive it then stalled out and the vehicle was not mobile. I had the vehicle towed back for the second time to Bauman Ford Genoa. Tuesday September 23, 2025. After conferring with Mr. Disney Vacation Service manager, we got Ms. dailey a rental vehicle and Todd the service representative told me that it would be a purge valve. I was told that if I could retrieve a purge valve from one of the auto parts stores that he would put on the valve for $300.00. I then went to Oreilly's and retrieved a purge valve canister. I then returned to the dealership and he said it was the wrong part. I then proceeded Advanced Auto parts store and ordered the purge valve that was needed for the repair. Wednesday September 24, 2025. I proceeded to go to advanced auto parts and retrieve the purge valve for the 2019 ford EcoSport. I proceeded to the dealerships and Mr. Dailey told me that I again did not have the right part. I was then told that I would get the part at fords costs and it would be place on my car. Friday September 26, 2025. I received a call from Disney Vacation guy and he proceeded to tell me that the purge valve was placed on my vehicle and the vehicle would not start. Todd told me that the problem would have been associated with the active recall and I might need a long-term rental and I would be charged nothing. He then called me and said it was a crimped wire behind the battery. I am confused, so after all of this was it just a crimped wire? Was the purge valve actually bad? We still have an active recall but he did not seem to address the issue? I don't feel that I should be responsible for the bill which was around $557.44? If the wiring was bad why put in a purge valve? Mr. Todd Gordon also had times said he was not sure what the issue was? I am wondering was he guessing? I mean is my vehicle even safe to drive? When you own an old car, you'd better know a good mechanic…read more Being the new owner of a Toyota Tercel, 1987 edition I needed a few things on a regular basis. Oil changes, brake jobs and the occasional major repair. I discovered that my wheel bearing on the left side had gone wonky. Being that I had the car for a month and needed my job, I looked all over Toledo for a mechanic who was both competent and cheap. Sometimes the two go together, and sometimes the gulf between them is the distance between Earth and Pluto. Not in this case. I was in charge of the cab's maintenance. I would find a good shop and the boss would cut me a check for the bill, or usually reimburse me for what I had spent. Kyles became the shop of choice simply because he did great work, got the cab back on the road in a timely manner, and didn't overcharge simply because I had a cab. So I figured if he could do for the cab, he could do for my car. I brought the Doodlebug in and was told that I would be better off junking it. I retorted it was a Toyota with only 118,000 miles on it.. Hardly a used car since a similar version belonging to my friend Steve had attained 989,000 miles and the only reason he got rid of his was because the body fell off the chassis. I intended to eclipse that. I told them money was no object and to fix it. Long story short, 3 days later it was running again like a new car and my wallet was lighter by only 600 dollars. Instead of replacing the bearing they had to replace the whole rear end, which was a bonus for me. My car ran great and I used it for many more years beyond that. The car has been retired because it threw a rod in a fit of pique, but I will always take my cars to Kyles simply because he is one guy who is a decent mechanic, and will never overcharge you.

Tried to sell me things I didn't need before the car was ever looked at. Was supposed to do testing and didn't do it. Just sprayed on lubricant and never even took anything apart. Charged me for something I could have done with product from Autozone. The car ended up breaking down and having to go to another mechanic 2 days after being here. The bolts were still rusted into place, so I KNOW he did nothing under the hood but spray some product on parts. Acted surprised when I wasn't paying cash and muttered "I wish I would have known" like he's cooking his books. Avoid this place. If the owner is there he will rip you off.
