I had a problem with a tire and they did this float test to see if there was a hole in it. I personally felt like they went above and beyond. I feel terrible. I have been a customer of Discount tire for years never had any problem. My boyfriend hit something in the road and ended up having a flat tire. Thankfully we were near discount tire pulled in to have it fixed. All we wanted to have done is to fix the flat tire or have the spare put on. The tire was unfixable so we asked to have the spare put on they refused because the spare was to old. The spare was hard all we wanted was to get home. No they wanted to sell a new tire and my boyfriend asked if he could change the tire in the parking lot they said no. So we had to drive the jeep out of the parking lot and thankfully there was a auto shop that did not do tires but he came out and help us put on the spare. I bought tires and my boyfriend had bought tires from discount tires what happened to customer service. read more

It's been over 5 years since I bought my car and it's been driving a little funny so I made an appointment online for the next day. I was expecting to pay $600-800 to replace all four with the same brand of tire. They actually did not have Firestone for that size in stock at the time; instead the staff recommended that I get their store brand and insisted it was just as good. That took the price down to $530 in total which worried me a little, but it comes with a 60K mile warranty. The actual replacement was done in about 20 minutes and they had me stay in the car the whole time. Very professional and efficient group. When you pull up by their front entrance an employee greets you and you park once they figure out why you are here. Once inside there is hand sanitizer available everywhere and stickers on the floor to encourage distance from others. Once you are at the counter they have kindly set a screen turned toward you, behind a large plexiglass shield, so you can follow along with the details of the service. After paying you wait in your car until the staff is ready and (as I mentioned before) stay in your vehicle the whole time. If you have anxiety about what precautions businesses are taking you don't have to worry about it here. read more

Bought a new tire in Texas right before vacation and they rotated tires. One was a little out of balance only noticeable at highway speeds. Walked in and rebalanced all 4 to make sure the job was done right. Fast and friendly and much safer ride home. Well done guys! read more

I've been a off and on customer for the last 40 years because I look for the best price. Now I won't mind possibly paying a little more to remain a Discount Tire customer due to their excellent warranty. I had a sidewall failure which caused an instantaneous flat so I had to put on my spare. Because I had the Discount Tire warranty I only had to pay $17.45 for a replacement tire, they also put the spare back into the under car carrier which is a challenge to do. Be aware that the tires didn't have that many miles on them and the warranty is prorated. Also I have Discount Tires balance and route my tires to meet the warranty requirements plus so my tires will last the projected tire life. read more

I was so happy to find a Discount Tire finally! I had been looking for one in the North but there aren't any in the upper peninsula or north of Saginaw. I saw a billboard for this one on 75 and pulled off to look it up on Yelp. Turned out it was less than three miles away so I mapped it and zipped over to have them add some air in my tires which were about 6 pounds low. They've been low for a few days but I hadn't found a place to put air in for me. I haven't had to put air in my own tires for years myself. I had a little bit of a wait but they got the job done and I was very happy to have found them. Once they were done I hit the road and headed back to the Detroit area where I needed to renew my rental car. I just didn't want to show up with low tires. Yaay Discount Tire! read more

Quick, professional and friendly. Made the appointment on-line with the quick easy scheduling tool. I showed up at the schedule time and in 45 minutes they had my two tires repaired, all tires checked and me back on the road. Professional, friendly service by technicians and service providers at the desk. Showroom and bathrooms were clean and plenty of waiting seats with magazines and free water and coffee. It's not a very child-fun place so you should bring something to entertain your kids if you can't find a sitter. They can text you when the service is complete if you need to run out while the car is being worked on. read more

I have gone to this tire store for over 15 years, for all my tire needs. Customer service and satisfaction is excellent, and seems to be a priority for the staff. I have found them to be completely fair and honest. Their business is clean and efficiently run. You can stop in anytime for a tire check, air pressure check, tire advice, etc. I almost always buy top-rated Michelins, but have also bought high-rated Blizzak winter tires. Good idea to purchase four separate steel (or aluminum) rims for winter tires, to avoid the wear and (and cost) of twice-yearly mounting and dismounting of summer/winter tires. So-called "all-season" tires are actually "all-compromise" tires, and not the best or safest for wintertime driving below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. read more

I've taken two cars to discount tire for new tires this year, and had to return 3 times for one, and 2 times for the other one because tire pressure monitors were wrong. Each time on the first visit back they tried just checking tire pressure and assured me that driving for 20 minutes would fix it. I told them that can't be the issue since the pressure wasn't off. I felt like they wanted to just get rid of me. On my Honda, I told them as they were checking the pressure that I wanted another opinion because I'm sure the pressure is right, and they had just replaced the sensors. They sent me away anyway, and when I came back a third time, they finally decided to have someone look at it, and the "sensor specialist" said they need to deflate the tires and clear the code, which is what needs to happen on a Honda, and he was surprised nobody knew that, on my Nissan they needed to recalibrate the sensors using a computer. Either way, if you get your tires and/or sensors replaced, be ready to come back at least twice. If you're having a sensor issue, ask to speak to Andrew, who was the only one who knew what he was talking about. read more

Discount Tire Store in Saginaw is great. I had my car in for service and they told me I needed a new tire immediately. I knew I needed new tires but wasn't aware of how bad it was. I went down the street to Discount and they replaced my tires. As it turned out, they weren't the right size for my Cadillac. Mark took care of everything.
