Staff repaired the tire, got me safely back on the road, and saved me money. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and honest Evan was. He educated me on the condition of my tires, what to watch for, and what to expect over the next few months as they near replacement. I never felt pressured to buy anything just informed and well taken care of. Update - Filled out the form as requested in Discount's reply to this post. Received an apology email and that someone would reach out for further resolution. No one reached out. Took the jeep into the dealership to address the pulling issue as described in my original post and found out the breaks are damaged and will need to be replaced. For over $3000. I can't confirm this issue was caused by the service provided at discount, however, when I brought the jeep into discount that day, there were absolutely no observable issues. When driving home from discount, the car felt unsafe which the dealership confirmed, it was unsafe to drive in the returned condition. I would be very hard pressed to ever visit a discount tire again at this point. Original Comment - Strongly do not recommend. I purchased 5 new tires plus installation and alignment. Was told about 2 hrs to complete so I waited. After about an hr, my car was parked in a spot but no one notified me it was done so I assumed it was waiting on alignment. After 3.5 hrs, I asked if it was going to be much longer. They said it was done. I said how long has it been done for? They said it had just finished. No it didn't, it's been sitting in the same parking spot for over 2 hrs. With little to no acknowledgment or apology, they offered me alignment for free. Great, but that doesn't even cover the paid time off I had to use to be there.. waiting for no reason. Driving home, noticed the car now pulls aggressively to the side when I break. Wondering if the alignment was done incorrectly. Obviously will not be bringing it back here to check, so now I have to pay someplace reliable to do another alignment check. Not sure if this is true for all discount locations but I absolutely do not recommend this one. read more

I was sent a text message like always to let them know I was on my way and to let them know I arrived (1025). As I was walking towards the store, a nice young lady greeted me and proceeded to walk around the vehicle. I sat down put my EarPods in and waited. I left at 1058. I will never set foot in this place again. Brought my car in after they called my husband to let him know the two tires we needed were in. I arrived a little after 4:00 and was told I was already checked in and they would get right to it. I waited for 2 hours; they close at 6:00. At 6:05 I looked in the parking lot to see my car was still sitting in the same spot. I waited in line for another 10 minutes to speak to someone, only to find out they were just now planning to take it back...15 minutes AFTER closing time. And they were shocked that I was upset. I've been here a few times for all of our vehicles. The representatives are friendly and the service is great. It can be busy at times so I recommend scheduling an appointment. During this last visit, I had a tire replaced due to a blowout in the freeway. The good news is that my other tires were still in great condition so I only needed 1 tire to be replaced. Came in as a walk-in with a nail in my tire. When I was told that the location of the nail made it impossible to plug the hole in my tire, I asked if I'd have to purchase a pair of tires. But the staff person said since my treads were in good shape, just the one tire would need replacement. It was the day after Christmas, and the store was crazy busy, but she was very patient as I searched for the lock. She then said it would take a good part of the day, since they had to get the tire from a different store. I got a call a few hours later, saying the car would be ready soon. DT saved me more than $3500. Thank you! I took my car in for a few items. After they completed an inspection of my car, they called me. They told me what they found, and what they would need to do. Then the guy said: there's a chance that some of this work is covered under your vehicle's extended warranty, but I would have to take it to a dealer service center. So, I grabbed my car and went to an authorized service center. Bottom line: more than $3,500 in repairs were covered under my warranty. I ordered new tires online, made the appointment, showed up, and left with my car - equipped with new tires very soon after I arrived. Perhaps my timing was just right, as I had a morning reservation. I had expected to wait much longer. The service employees patiently answered all questions and even looked at my car with me afterwards. I had two minor issues upon leaving that were quickly and easily resolved - so I am glad I examined the tires before leaving. Still - not enough to downgrade my review. I had them check my wiper blades and they were honest in telling me I am not yet due for new ones. Lifetime servicing is included at no extra cost. But the best part is the OUTSTANDING customer service I receive each and every time I deal with them. They are helpful, professional, and never try to upsell me. You get free lifetime tire rotation with each tire purchase, and you can purchase an additional tire hazard warranty at reasonable price which I have found pays for itself. Check out the DT credit card - six, nine, or twelve months interest free, based on purchase amount. Along with tire manufacturer rebates, every few mo the they offer their own additional rebates on tires and wheels. This particular store was built a little over a year ago. The workshop, waiting room, and restrooms are always neat and clean. I'm glad this one opened because the other years I had to travel much further to their St. Augustine shop on SR16 (and yes, I highly recommend that DT also). read more

Have been a loyal discount tire fan for a couple of decades. Thankfully there is one now closer to home as I used to drive out of my way to support this establishment. When my son was in college in Orlando and had a need foe tires, I found a Discount tire close by and it was the same great experience. Today we had a flat and while discount will fix any tire, this was one of theirs and we had purchased the warranty coverage 2 years ago. Unfortunately the tire could not be repaired but our road hazard provided us a free replacement including labor. The only charge was for a new warranty. A local dealership recommended new tires during a scheduled mileage visit. I found the same tires online at Discount Tire for ~$50 less per tire than the dealership. Plus, whereas the dealer was also going to charge an additional $165 to balance the new tires, it was included in the price at DT. The Durbin Creek location was courteous and professional. I scheduled a noon appointment, and they took my vehicle back at noon. I was told an hour to replace and balance all 4 tires, and it was finished at 12:55pm. Went there to talk with guy after I spoke with someone over the phone about a repair tire, the guy went to my car for me to show him what was wrong and he only looks the tire and said that the tire couldn't be repair. Went down there and the tire would cost around $300 for one nail. Guy over the over once I explained to him he said that if was a nail it should be a free repair, wow. Ok, came home and whoever that is in front of that business looks like that only want to sell tires $$$, of course they are in business, but they should at least ask one of the real technicians to check instead given to the customers a wrong diagnostic from what he might think that could be. Got home because his answer didn't convences me and use one of the repair emergency tire and it works. Definitely it isn't a trustful place to go after that, because a technician won't be seem your tire, the Tires Salesman is the one that is going to see, be careful out there. My husband noticed his tire was low in air and he saw a nail sticking out. We made an appointment with Good year on 210 for July 5 (they were open even though it was the holiday) The morning of our appointment Good year called to say they overbooked and had to cancel us. We called Discount Tire and they said we could drop off the truck but couldn't give us a time frame. That was fine. We were just happy they agreed to let us come in on a holiday with no appointment. Not even an hour later they called to say the truck was ready. They were able to repair the tire and they didn't charge us. All he asked was we consider them when it's time to get tires. I purchased a set of tires last November and just brought my car in for tire rotation and balance that they provide free of charge with any purchase. I had a slow flat tire and stopped by at 3pm without an appointment. The staff met me outside were friendly and very helpful. They did not try to upsale me.
