I followed their recommendation and booked an appointment online for a tire rotation and balance. When I arrived ten minutes early to check in, I was informed that there were eleven appointments ahead of me and it would take two hours for my vehicle to be done. I can understand having some flexibility in the schedule, but a two hour delay is ridiculous. I think they are just screwing the people with appointments to squeeze extra work in. If they had let me know ahead of time, I could have arranged to drop it off because I clearly indicated that I planned on waiting when I booked the appointment. What could they improve? Actually provide the service you are charging for instead of charging me a bunch of money to do work that doesn't fix the problem I brought the car in for. I was charged $300 for new wiper blades essentially, as that was the only improvement to my car's operating condition after 2 hours. I have an older car with TPMS, the sensors for which last about 13 years, exactly the age of my car. The TPMS indicator light came on a month ago so I checked my pressures and made sure they were good but the light didn't go off, meaning the sensors are dead. I stopped at Discount Tire to have them replaced and had a ticket quickly prepared by one of the service managers who suggested wiper blades, needing those too, I agreed and sat down to wait. After about 2 hours a different service manager brought my ticket out and told me that they had changed all the sensors out but the TPMS light was still on so it may be a problem with the OBS not communicating and basically they couldn't/wouldn't figure it out or fix it. So apparently I have new sensors but you can't tell and I still have to check my tires manually and regularly because the new sensors are now useless. This place was a ridiculous waste of my time and money, but I did get new wiper blades I guess, so there's that. I don't believe I will recommend them to anyone. read more

They were pretty busy when I came but I brought something to do so it didn't feel like the wait took that long, maybe an hour or so and my truck rides very smoothly now that the tires are balanced and rotated! After I dropped my wife off at PT, I checked Yelp to see where the nearest Discount Tire was located. This location was only about 5 minutes away, so i headed here. The tire pressure indicator indicated that we had a low tire. This year we have had multiple nails in our right rear tire. I figured we had picked up another one so a trip to Discount Tire was needed. Upon arrival, there were 5 or 6 cars lined up in the "check air pressure" line. As it was raining, I thought the technician would get everyone in and out quickly, so that he could get out of the rain. The line moved pretty quickly (not as fast as I thought it would), and upon getting my turn, I told him of our recent tire history with nails. He immediately went underneath the car and inspected it for nails. He didn't find any, but he aired the tire to 35 lbs. He told me to drive it a while and monitor the pressure. He said if it dropped, bring it back, and they would take the tire off the wheel to inspect it. Luckily, the tire has continued to hold 35 lbs, so it just must have been the change to cooler weather that impacted that tire. Will I return? Definitely. I highly recommend these folks for your tire needs. read more

I gave this place a high rating simply because of the air pressure service. Unfortunately the wait time here is beyond ridiculous. I've been waiting an hour and a half for a tire repair service. This place is understaffed and another location is desperately needed nearby. I would avoid the location if you can. It makes no sense for this kind of wait time. Note: I brought my wait time to this guy named Nick, claiming that he has to get to the appointments first. I understand appointments but waiting 2 hours for a tire repair is downright negligent and just poor customer service. read more

Well, I can't complain stopped at discount tire cause I had a blowout. It was pretty busy here, but it was very lucky that they were fast efficient and the prices were affordable and that luckily they had at least a tire on standby. They could actually match what I needed so even though I requested, maybe some more tires for the future, they were able to take care of my service request of getting my blowout fixed immediately. I highly recommend this discount tire I think they're an amazing place and I will definitely be coming back for any future visits just hopefully not in the near future because then that means I have some issues with my tires. read more

Set up an appointment to get all my tires replaced and it was convenient. I was skeptical because they always look so busy but they had me in and out. The sensor was on for one of my new tires when they were done but they assured me as I drove home it would go off and recalibrate. When I got home the light was still on so I called them to let them know. We coordinated and I brought it in the next day and the manager took the vehicle and worked on the sensor issue- it was resolved in no time! Again... Always something with this location. Brought in my wife's Cadillac for new tires and when I got home I noticed that they installed the WRONG tires. I purchased an all season tire and they installed a cheap performance summer tire. I proceeded to call and they mentioned that they upgraded the tire (without letting me know) to a Kuhmo tire that belongs on a sports sedan or coupe (NOT A XT4). Not to mention that they hacked up one of the wheels with their tire machine. Even though I have before/after pictures of the wheels (I rent this car on Turo) they denied damaging the wheel (not surprised. Now, here I am back at Discount Tire waiting for the correct tires to be installed. I had to return the wheels that they couldn't balance after multiple attempts and a full day in the store. Went in to fix a flat. Got a HARD sell to replace all four tires, even though they had plenty of tread left (by their own admission). Don't know how many times I had to say no thank you. Let me start by saying I've used discount tire for going into two decades, between all family autos I've purchased well over $10k worth of goods, many years ago I came in to have my tire pressure sensor checked back then the technology didn't exist to show which one was bad so they forced you you replace all four, well at the time a big sign on the wall says buy lifetime warranty on the sensors so I did extra money well spent I thought, well now every time one goes out and I go for the lifetime warranty service I purchased I'm getting the run around, and have to argue with technician, manager, and once the regional zone manager to get the lifetime coverage as if I am trying to get something free. After buying tires from a competitor I am back buying from Discount Tires again. The main reason is the service. It is better than I could ask for. I have had 4-5 slow leak tires over the last few years and they have fixed them every time-free, even though I bought them somewhere else. They are pretty quick with the install process, if you have an appointment it goes even faster. They have a good selection of brands to choose from and will help you with that if you can't decide. I wanted to replace only two due the price and replace the others later. They found one was in much worse shape than I thought. So 4 it is. Of course the ones I wanted are the most expensive. Although it cost me more than twice as much as my previous set (4) the process itself was pretty painless. I can't blame them for the high price in this days economy. read more

Very disappointed, I had a 9:45 AM appointment and the car sat in the parking lot for over an hour and did not get into the bay until 11 AM. Even after the car was in the bay, it just sat there for 45 minutes. What is the point of making an appointment if people are walking in and are being told their vehicles will be done within 30 and 40 minutes. At the moment discount tire might think that they are the king in this area, but one day a competitor may come, and maybe then they might seriously consider improving their customer service. read more

Went to get a flat tire fixed and was offered an excellent deal on a set of tires, after being informed 3 tires were really worn. Unfortunately a lug nut was stripped, I went and had it repaired. leaving a one star but would prefer to not leave any stars at all even though you make an appointment you will be there from 3-7 pm and then have to keep asking for them to check tires and still will try and send you away marshal the manager was about to let us get on the road and since I insisted on my tires being checked again they found a huge cut in my tire in inside. They couldn't use my spare and didn't offer to use one theirs until they order the correct one until I had dealership call them and ask on top of that since I had to go in twice they were double charges me for services even though before I decided to go ahead wait in long line that they for sure had the tire in stock when in fact they didn't. All management was unprofessional and unaccommodating, they took too long for a white male in line next to me and offered a discount to make it right but me as working mom/only provider for my family had to beg for them to take off the disposal services when I was taking my own trash tire in my trunk. worst experience ever I will be going to better business neuron after that but Marshall should not be management. read more

For the past couple of weeks my tires have been low and in my car I've been getting warning symbols. I finally gave in!! I needed to air up my tires, I had a couple of different options. My first option was to try to get one of those air pumps at the gas stations to work. I believe that is nearly impossible!! lol. I tried two of them, and they were both broke. Then I tried to air up my tires using my air compressor. It worked well on three of my tires. The third one just would not air up, there was something wrong with the valve stem. I didn't know what to do so I remembered discount tire put air in the tires. I did not buy my tires from discount tires, so I did not know if they would help me, however. They DID!!I got in line and unfortunately they couldn't air it up on the spot but they referred me to someone inside. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the person that helped me but he was absolutely amazing. I told him the problem, he, swiftly went out to my tire and looked at it. As stated before the valve stem was messed up, he said he's gonna have to take the tire off. At that point I figured it was gonna be a long wait and I was going to shell out a lot of money to get my tire fixed. That is not the case. He asked me to drive my vehicle into the bay and they fixed it on the spot. So, it was quick and free!!!! I really appreciate what they did for me and in the future I will make sure I always go to this discount tire!! They went above and beyond, and I thank them greatly !!! What about checking tire pressure takes so long? Arrived at 4 pm to get pressure checked after warning light came on driving. The line of cars for air pressure check wrapped around the store, blocking traffic but I was pretty certain I had a flat tire or damage. I went inside to see if someone could help me. Was not greeted. Stood inside 10 minutes & left. Drove back to air pressure line & When they finally checked my pressure I had a nail in my tire. I had no choice but to get it fixed and I had been there an hour at this point. Thankfully, the man who checked my pressure & reported the nail saved the day. Braxton apologized for the poor service & took care of me as quickly as possible. I would have given this store a rating of 1 except this poor young man seemed to actually care about my experience and repeatedly apologize. I was grateful for his care. . Wasted so much time. Really frustrating. I pay a lot of money for life time tires/service & then overall abysmal service. My time is valuable. I won't return to this location. read more

I had a slow leak in my right front tire, and then I saw the nail right in the tread. I called Discount Tire on 281 near Evans, and Nick told me to bring it right over. I did, and was expecting a hard sell to buy a new tire. I was pleasantly surprised when Nick said my tires looked great overall and they could patch it no problem.
