We recently dropped off my Mustang for diagnostics. After hearing the estimate, we decided to take it back and have someone else work on it. Upon requesting our car be returned to us, the mechanic at the front desk became annoyed and complained that they had already "done a lot of leg work" with their parts provider to get what they need to fix my car. This was very confusing, as we had at no point asked them to do this, and in fact specifically instructed otherwise before arriving. Turns out this is because he wasn't even talking about the right Mustang, having confused ours with another customer's in the shop. As if his unwarranted rudeness wasn't bad enough, he proceeded to make us wait 20 minutes after informing us it would only take 5. It was only until after the 20 minute wait that he figured out we weren't the customers he first assumed us to be, and handed us our keys shortly thereafter. With our keys we were also handed excuses in the form of an embarrassed explanation and no attempt to apologize. Between the attitude problem and the absurd wait time, which I can only assume to have been purposefully prolonged due to an adolescent level of misdirected pettiness, I can see that this Firestone's glimmering 2.0 star rating has been well earned. I made an appointment for 3pm to have an oil change and my vehicle wasn't pulled in the shop until 5:30. What is the point of making an appointment if it's going to take so long to get worked on? At no point was I given an update or explanation as to why it's taking so long. I recently moved from West Texas and never had this issue with the Firestone there. Don't go to this shop. No integrity. I told them what my problem was, they sold me on new struts and when it didn't fix the problem, they didn't care. They knew new struts would not fix my problem because my truck was lifted. When I realized that my trucks problem was not fixed (as I needed longer struts) they told me that they only do OEM repairs. They even admitted that my struts were too short (after replacing them) and that I needed to go to an aftermarket shop... After charging me $1500 for fixing nothing! I trusted that they were professionals, that they would educate me, not take advantage of me. I got a flat tire and was looking for a place that was open Memorial Day. Craig answered the phone and reassured me they are always open. And they sure are! 7 days a week. Craig is so friendly and nice. I was quoted $21 to fix my flat. So I scheduled my appointment for Memorial Day. I got there and there was Craig with big smile and happily greeting me when I walked in. My flat was fixed in less than 1 hour. I was on the phone and they were so kind not to interrupt me, but one of the techs saw me outside and yelled out my car was ready. When I was done with my call , I went in , and got my car and my bill was $20.15. So that was nice that it was less than what I was quoted. Craig makes this place! I will be back. I did not use the bathroom so cannot speak to that. The water machine was not working but I brought my own coffee. There is a small waiting area inside. read more

If you care about having friendly, helpful customer service, then avoid this place at all costs. The girl at the front desk is probably the rudest, most unhelpful person I've ever seen in a customer facing position. On a previous trip here, I over looked her incredible rudeness thinking she was just new and would learn. Also on that trip, she misquoted me by about half the price. Which I again, chalked up to being new. For today, I scheduled the appt on the app yesterday. Called this morning to confirm the time. (No issues with either). And when I got there, same rude girl at the desk as last time - she told me I did not have an appointment & I'm not a customer. "I have no record of you ever buying tires here". It wasn't her system issue, it was her awful tone of voice that is so frustrating. I told her you may have me under my wife's phone number and gave it to her. She acted disgusted that she had to do "extra" work to find me in their system. I reminded her this happened last time we talked and they were supposed to fix it. I'm a lifetime alignment, rotate, and balance customer. She just huffed and said "so what do you want to do, do you want to purchase an alignment". I HAVE LIFETIME FREE ALIGNMENTS & ROTATE/ BALANCE After she begrudgingly got my service order put in I asked her how long she thought it would take. She smirked and said "oh it'll be a bit". I said, okay how long is a bit. She looked me dead in the eye like a 12 year old belittling their sibling "I don't know, like 1.5 - 2 hours man". (Which hindsight, that should be a win. The last time took 10 hours) Today, between dropping off and picking up l, I saw 3 diff people at the desk and not one smiled the entire time. Everyone seems so put off that they have to help a customer or do their job. They smiled and laughed with each other but not with one single customer that they talked to. i made an appointment with the store to bring in my vehicle when i arrived the front desk told me they had no idea about my appointment and I had no appointment it was all generated by a computer and it was the fault of corporate. Said I could come back the next day with an appointment, I showed the gentleman my email with a reservation number and an appointment for today and he said he had nothing and showed me his computer that showed no appointment for me. My vehicle is barely driveable and I relied on that appointment to have my vehicle evaluated. If no appointment available the website should of said so not given me the option to schedule an appointment today. At the least a call telling me not to come would of been so helpful. They're efficient and thorough and it's a plus that all my info is saved into their system, making it even easier each visit. Had my AC system checked a few weeks ago. According to their tech, the AC system was good and blowing cold. Now it's only blowing cold on the drivers side. After about 2 hours of waiting for them to do their recheck, they found a leak and determined the system only had half of its R134a Coolant capacity. Why wasn't this discovered weeks ago? Why is there no technical record of how much coolant was in the system when they did the initial AC system check? Did the lack of R134a coolant cause the leak? For this visit, I give this Firestone location 2 stars. They're courteous and respectful at the front desk. But I'm starting to wonder if their technicians can provide good work consistently. If I have to return for another AC problem that should've been identified at this visit, I'll have to go somewhere else. read more

Thomas, one of the service writers, makes every effort to be as unhelpful as possible and made every excuse he could to not honor the warranty for the AC services received on my 2015 VW Passat TDI. I have taken my vehicle to various Firestone locations for the same issue (7 visits, they still can't fix the AC?) and provided incorrect information about the state of my vehicle. He says, "we inspected the compressor and the compressor clutch was operating normally" -- fun fact, my Passat's compressor does not have a clutch. Sure, many cars do, but the Passat NMS does not. Very upset with Firestone and the lack of quality service, especially since I am a fleet customer. I will be sure to take my company vehicles elsewhere in the future. read more

So i essentially took my vehicle here for a harmonic pully to get replaced when it was done i drove it off the lot and 15 minutes into my car ride I was overheating due to the fact that one of the fans wasn't plugged in and I was leaking coolant on the side of the road. After this I didn't think much of it due to the fact that it's just a simple plug in but definitely alarming for a mechanic to forget something so critical to someone's vehicle. After this motor oil was leaking out of the bottom of my vehicle so when I check on where it's coming from the front crankshaft was leaking oil by the harmonic balencer that just GOT REPLACED. Therefore meaning that they installed it incorrectly which is what is leading me to my current problem now. And the audacity of the manger they to be bragging in the lobby about his pay and bonuses meanwhile he's just profiting off incorrectly installing parts and causing problems for other people. AFTER ALL THIS he still quotes me 1000$ to fix a problem THEY STARTED I have pictures and evidence of all this as well read more

Had my AC system repaired 2.5 months ago by spending almost a grand and had to return to the place two more times after that as it stopped working within few weeks. I am tired after 3 visits where each time I stayed in the shop from morning to evening (as they give preference to new business) and now they are saying I need to pay one more grand to get it fixed. I feel like they are not being honest and do a thorough check before taking money the first time. I was here this past Sunday, December 23rd due to a flat tire to a rental. The car rental company said I should go to either Firestone or another tire company. I was on my way to the other tire company and saw Firestone coming up ahead so I pulled in. Glad I did. I was told I may not be able to get an authorization that day since it was a Sunday but they would call me as soon as they got word. I got a call about an hour before they closed and told me I could have the tire fixed Monday. I asked if I could have it fixed today and they said yes! I took my car in for a slow leak and they came back to say all four of my tires are severely messed up, I'll need all new tires and rims and I might have a blowout if I don't get it fixed soon. Little did they know I do my research before buying into their crazy lies. Customer service was fantastic! I ended up waiting longer than expected but realized at checkout that it was because they changed my taillight for free! (I hadn't even realized it was out) My headlights are a real B to replace and it knew this ahead of time so when they politely skimmed over the fact that it took extra man hours and also didn't charge me extra I was truly appreciative. The facilities are nice and clean and the employees very considerate. & I must mention that I had to bring my dog with me to pick up my car as I was being dropped off but they didn't even life an eyebrow.
