I found this place on Yelp and noticed that one of my Yelp friends (Glen H) had rated this place very highly. With that in mind, I headed off in my daughter's car to get it taken care of. I drove up and was immediately met by one of the employees. She asked what she could help me with, found out it was an oil change, and directed me into the nearest bay. Another worker immediately went to work and had the job completed very quickly. While I was waiting, I found that they had a 10% off discount with an offer on the internet. I talked with the cashier about using it and she said they take it off the bill when you pay:-) After the oil change was completed, a technician came in to tell me what he had done. He also recommended that the rear brakes be replaced within a couple of months. He said they offered that service and would be happy to do it when we decided to get it done. Will I return? I will next month for my wife's car inspection and oil change.

I wish I could give this place zero stars…read more I took my vehicle to Brake Check to have the brakes replaced. After they completed the work, they left the vehicle in brake maintenance/service mode, which meant I did not have normal braking operation. When I contacted them about it, their solution was essentially to take it to Ford. I took their advice and contacted Ford. Ford specifically told me not to drive the vehicle in that condition because it was not operating normally. That put me in an incredibly difficult position because, like most working-class people, I don't have another vehicle sitting around that I can just use. At that point, I decided to take it to a Ford dealership to have the problem they created properly diagnosed and repaired. While I was actually driving to Ford, Brake Check called me and told me they couldn't get my vehicle in until Monday morning. Then came the part that really frustrated me: they insisted they had done nothing wrong because, in their words, "technically they changed the brakes." That's not customer service. That's refusing to take responsibility for a problem that occurred immediately after their work. The service was awful, the attitude was even worse, and I felt like they simply didn't care that their mistake left me without a properly functioning vehicle. If you are trusting a shop with something as important as your brakes, you should be able to expect the job to be completed correctly and safely--not be told to take the vehicle somewhere else when their work leaves it in an unsafe condition. This place needs new management and a serious change in how they treat customers. I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else. I will be warning as many people as possible about my experience so they can avoid going through the same thing. Absolutely the worst automotive service experience I've had.

Coolant leaked a second time (still under warranty) and Belden's then diagnosed a separate issue. Another shop ran diagnostic tests confirming a leak isolated to the water pump. Also, after paying for a 3rd tire when I only wanted one or two originally, they wanted me to buy a fourth one and pay for instillation when they never honored the warranty to begin with and the tires would have still been mismatched. When I brought in a tire that was determined to be eligible for warranty coverage, I was told that the tire could not be repaired and that the original tire I had purchased was no longer available. I was then left trying to find a replacement that did not properly match the other tires on my vehicle. Despite paying for a replacement tire, it was never installed, and as of the date of this review I still have not received reimbursement for that charge. To make matters worse, I was advised to drive the vehicle to the store while the tire was flat, which I found concerning from a safety standpoint. Throughout this process, I spent countless hours making trips back and forth, waiting for callbacks, and attempting to obtain a resolution that should have been straightforward. I also experienced what I felt was unprofessional treatment from management in front of other customers. The store manager later apologized for the way I had been spoken to, and even Walmart employees expressed surprise that the issue had not been resolved after so many visits. One employee went so far as to tell me that he did not understand why I was being given such a difficult time. After paying for a warranty, paying for a replacement tire, making repeated trips to the store, and still not receiving a satisfactory resolution or reimbursement, I feel completely let down as a customer. The amount of time, stress, inconvenience, and frustration this situation has caused has been significant. As of the date of this review, this matter remains unresolved. Because my repeated efforts to resolve these issues directly with the store have not been successful, I intend to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Walmart Corporate Customer Relations, and other appropriate consumer protection agencies in an effort to obtain reimbursement and a final resolution. I strongly encourage other customers to keep detailed records of their purchases, warranty documents, receipts, and communications if they need to make a warranty claim. Based on my experience, doing so may be extremely important.

Then, when my friend went to say something else, McGruff told him he could go. They didn't want his business!!In the meantime, the owner was in his little office around the corner and knew I was out there and did not bother to get up and come out to find out what the real problem was.
