We went next door to eat bc we were traveling and had not eaten all day. They called while we were eating and said the tire was fixed and no charge!! We drove 1500 miles in that trip. I went to get four new tpms installed on my car. had appointment but still took over two hours. that's not an issue. However, they either left a lugnut of one of my wheels or forgot to tighten it so it came off. I'll need tires soon but I'm hesitant to return because of the lugnut issue. 10am appointment arrived at 9:45 and checked in. Sat in my car waiting for the text and never received it. Went back in at 10:30 and they said I was not checked in. The previous day I call to see if the tires came in and was on hold for about 15 minutes. I asked my wife to call and she did. Someone answered the phone and helped me while, I was still on hold. This is my go-to place for tires! I started with them twenty-something years ago in Austin, Texas, and from there to California and now in Georgia. I must say that no matter what state I'm in, the service requested is always exceptional. I pulled in today to have my tires checked to see if I needed air. The light wasn't on, but I like to check just in case. The service guy didn't mind at all; he checked, and I really didnt need any air, but he added little air to my tires so I wouldn't be worried. I told him I needed tires in the rear, and he agreed. He wasn't just saying that because I know for a fact I do. Before moving here, I made an appointment with the Discounted Tires in Texas to install new tires. But I didn't have time to get it done because the moving company decided to pick up my car early. I bought my tires at discount tire. I happened upon a flat tire. I was able to get home and when I brought my car into discount tire they looked busy, I had to wait in line. They were able to plug the the tire and rotate them all for free, because that's part of their policy when you buy your tires from them. I did make an appointment before I came and they're guaranteed with their appointments that they'll get you in out within 45 minutes and they definitely did that for me. I did have 1 mishap one time where the stem in the tire was not placed correctly and it caused my tire to go flat on the highway. Fortunately, the state I was traveling to had a Discount Tire location. I was able to get my tire serviced for free. Actually, they didn't have my brand in stock so I got another tire for free. The service is quick if you make an appointment so it's highly suggested that you make one. The Discount Tire in Stockbridge GA gave my grandmother's car to a stranger. The vehicle was later found and damaged. They initially offered to fix the car, and once they found out how much it cost to repair, they decided to offer a settlement. The settlement is unacceptable, considering my grandmother purchased her vehicle new. She wouldn't be forced to purchase a used vehicle with her own money had not Discount Tire not given away her vehicle! Something more needs to be done! Horrible place! My husband took my BMW in last week for a set of new tires. The ignorant employee broke a lug. The "manager" Hakeem was supposed to call my husband Friday with an appointment at a local shop to fix the issue which was estimated at $700... it's now Monday and no phone call. He called the shop today and was placed on hold for 20 minutes and Hakeem never answered. This place is a total joke. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! A simple set of 4 tires has now cost us TWO trips to this place and still no help. While waiting for them to "inspect the issue" on my car, we overheard another customer complaining of issues with hers! I own a business and can't play drive to the tire shop 40 minutes away a hundred times to fix an issue that should have NEVER happened. Zero stars. This location enjoys taking advantage of women. They are not honest nor do they have the knowledge to help you decided on tires. I have been to this location three different times. I even purchased the warranty for all four of my tires. When I finally needed a tire they had to order it and that's fine, but the next day when I go to have the tire put on they ordered the wrong size and wrong tire. I've been giving the run around and talked down too as if this is my first car/flat tire. They need to hire people who have a passion for customer service and know something about car tires. It makes no sense that I had to sit for over 3 hours for one tire to be replaced because of their confusion. I've spent a lot of money and I feel cheated. This was my second time at this location, I really really really appreciate how nice and fast they are. They take the time to explain things to you when you have questions, you can make an appointment online, you can walk in when necessary, and you don't feel like somebody just ripped you off while being mean to you at the same time! I made an appointment at two other locations and they refused to work on my car at the appointed time and wanted me to leave the car but they close before I get off work. They wouldn't even take the tire off and put the spare on to patch the tire. This establishment is the Chick Fil-A of tire shops; in terms of customer service. I came in with 2 bad tires They were barely drivable so I wanted to replace them. They greeted me in front of the main office, found out why I was there and instructed me to park in one of the spaces. After about 20 minutes they reassessed my tires and told me to drive up to the tire racks. After a short ten minutes they reinstalled my new tires and had me out the door. All the employees in the tire shop worked together like clockwork. They seemed to all be friends and genuinely liked each other. My tech guy was very friendly and helpful. The shop was great! Been a customer for years. I have always had a pretty good experience with this location. However, lately the service seems to have lost some of its luster. I called in to set an appointment for a rotation and balance. I was on hold for 10 minutes and then they did something that blew my mind. Someone picked up, told me to hold, and hung up on me. So, I called back and I got the same result. That's very unacceptable, especially since there are so many tire shops to choose from. Ended up leaving Mavis tire after 30 minutes in line to find out my 8 AM appointment basically did me no good whatsoever because everyone in front of me did not have an appointment and would be serviced before me. I initially came to inquire about my tire pressure light and to have my tires checked for any air leakage. They noticed a nail in my tire and rectified that isolated situation. They failed to check other tires and proceeded to hand me my keys to send me on my way with my pressure light still on. I brought it to their attention before leaving and was told "well if it keeps getting lower, there might be something wrong with it." I was dumbfounded beyond belief by this response from the service tech Jay. The service manager Ray filled my tires to temporarily rectify the pressure light and a week later, I returned back to the shop as the light came back on, only to have the service tech Ray, identify what the actual issue was and have this taken care of for me. I cannot express enough gratitude for Ray. Ray exemplifies how he values safety by taking the time and care to be as thorough as he was. Without any hassle they matched the tire and within 30 min they were back on the road with a new tire at no cost to us. This is why I've been buying tires and the insurance on those tires for the last 20 years and 8 cars.
