I have never had a problem and have been using them for over 12 years...until the beginning of April when my bumper was scratched and the paint was chipped on my car. My wife and daughter were on their way down to Perry for a Rabbit Show. At 6am in the dark their rear tire went flat and they were stranded on the highway. Thanks to Triple AAA they were safely towed to Discount Tire where the tires were purchased. The fine gentlemen of Discount Tire opened 20 min early just to get my family in. Without any hassle they matched the tire and within 30 min they were back on the road with a new tire at no cost to us. This is why I've been buying tires and the insurance on those tires for the last 20 years and 8 cars. Gotta give these folks another shout. They were very friendly and professional in helping me deal with some defective tires. (Three out of four of the Hankook's were starting to separate. Go figure. I upgraded back to my favorite Michelins.) And they were very fast in putting the new ones on. I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. And that was on a busy day for them, which included a phone call to Hankook (Hankook's customer service is annoying) to take care of the warranty issue. I purchased my tires a few months back, during that time I also purchased an additional warranty/service. Long story short this was my 2nd visit in 3 weeks and instead of changing out the tire, they keep patching it. Also, last time my vehicle was sitting in the parking lot and I never got called when it was ready, the same thing happened this time. I'm starting to think if you aren't purchasing tires, you don't get top of the line service, meaning when I purchased my tires for just under $900, I was updated through out my visit, offered coffee while I waited, my name was called when service was completed and my car was brought to me in the front of the building. read more

Don't bother walking in If you don't have an appointment. I came at 8am which is when they opened it is now 10am and I've watched 10+ people get serviced before me. When I asked where I was in line I was told that if people continue to arrive for their appointments I will continue to get bumped back. Overall great customer service. This tire store has been the absolute best experience ever. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I never feel like I'm being upsold on things that I don't need and I really appreciate that. They are honest guys and you can tell that they enjoy their jobs. The management team/ owner needs to create a class for other businesses to follow because they have truly taken customer service to another level. I received a call that my tires were in a few days after I ordered them. My husband arrived to have them installed early Friday morning only to be informed that only two arrived. A week later, when they finally arrived, my new tires were installed with a bad stem. Within hours of arriving home, the passengers front was as flat as a could be. After putting air in it, he had to return and have it fixed. He demanded a new tire. The following week, he returned again to only have the tire put on backwards. SMDH. He now has to go back and have that corrected. The little money saved was not worth the time wasted dealing with inconsistent and the lack of craftsmanship shown here. Never again. read more

My car needed new rims bc I hit a median in the road at night. Soo I bought new ones and this discount tire put the rear tire backwards on my rims and on the front right side. So 3 out of four tires where on the wrong side facing out .. I had to get it fixed at another discount tire .. I was wondering why my tires looked soo dirty. I washed them over and over. But no fix.. soo I called discount tire in another state and they said it was bc the inside of the tire was facing inside of the car and not faced right.. the insides of tires get dirty faster bc of the break dust. I'm glad I decided to take it to another one in Sc Bc he knew just by looking at the tires. He said this is common .. I'm just glad my tires don't have white and red stains on them and dirty looking. They now look nice and shiny again. I was taught that the dot number should be on the outside of the tire so we now know if they are put on correctly and balanced. Look for the DOT number ;) glad I could help someone else. read more

A thousand bucks for four tires for my x5 bmw 2004. One tire was completely flat and one had a slow leak. Hour and forty five minute wait. Service was slow but the customer service was great. For the last 3+ years, my husband and I have been coming to Discount Tire. We come every 5,000 miles to get our tires balanced and rotated. They provide fast service and always finished under an hour. (Generally 30-40 minutes). We do schedule an appointment ahead of time so we are always pushed to the next available spot. Make an appointment! Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Buying good quality tires from them 2 and 3 years ago and tires are still like new, even with driving them daily. Pretty quick service. I walked in and waited a couple of minutes before I was greeted. The associates were busy assisting customers. The tires I wanted were in stock and I was next in line for installation. I timed the crew on installation. (I'm weird like that) In 20 minutes my minivan had some new tires. Not NASCAR pit stop worthy, but pretty good when it comes to tire installation. The staff was friendly and helpful and the service makes me want to come back. read more

Been a customer for a while. Purchased 4 new tires and have had a few replaced since I bought my new set less than a year ago. Regardless, I got a flat on Sunday, made an appointment on Monday to have my tire replaced on Tuesday. All of my information is on file but the person who made my appointment was either too lazy or just assumed it could be fixed and failed to check if my specific tire was in their store. I could have gone to a number of Discount Tire locations instead of Stockbridge as I don't live close to any of them. So of course, I drive 20+ miles on my donut spare tire and they tell me they don't carry my tire size and it will take a day to order. They call another store 6 miles down the road that does happen to have one for me and tell me to just go there. First of all this is not reasonable. It was their mistake in the first place to have me make an appointment when I specifically said I have a FLAT not a LOW tire at their location. Then, they should have offered to go pick up my correct size tire instead of having me drive to the other location. I can promise you that after spending over $1500 in high end tires and being treated like this I will not be getting a new set or call them for anything else. read more

Very Bad customer service, very unprofessional. I Do Not recommend this place at all. Please be ware. Free tire rotation because the techs don't do anything at all! If it hadn't been for the scratch that the tech made on my rim the previous visit that served as a marking on this visit, I wouldn't have noticed my tires had not been rotated! Store owner please be careful who you hire, your employees seem to not want a job. Very lazy and careless. Very disappointed. When I complained to the advisor about this situation, he frowned. I had ordered a particular pair of tires online and showed up for my appointment on a Saturday morning. They stated they were not in stock yet and having dealt with this at another Discount Tire I came on a little strong. The last time this happened I was stuck selecting a tire I didn't want for a similar price. This time they flexed some strong customer service and I was very pleased with how they handled the situation. The actual service was also well done. They had a resonable price for both and they also had a good deal where I could pay a certain amount to get a tire rotation and balance done for the life of my tires. I bought 2 rear tires for my Infiniti G37.. spent almost $700 and they only lasted not even 5 months. I don't drive that much so they should not go bad that quickly, especially if it's for high end tires for high end sports car. When I called to inform about the tires, clerk told me I bought tires with no mileage warranty. I was not aware and was not informed of them when I bought them. If I'm paying $700, some kind of warranty should came with or inform me that what I am buying do not come with any warranty. Will not ever buy tires from them again. read more

Had to go there Monday 3/23/15 and buy a tire and a rim for my daughters car and then bring it back to my daughters car to have roadside assistance put it on. Well roadside assistance said it would not fit her car because they sold us the wrong size rim. Needless to say I was not to happy. So I brought it back and the gentleman that helped me researched the car for me again and said it was the correct rim. He should me by using this special lug nut tool he had and then said it needed to be lined up to certain holes on the rim and circled them for me and even gave me the special lug nut wrench set you need to put it on with and did not charge me for it . The level of customer service I received at the Discount Tire location in Stockbridge today was so remarkable that I couldn't help but write them a review. I came in with the sole intention of getting my front two tires balanced, as my steering wheel had been shaking violently at high speeds for several weeks. Since my dad recently noticed that the balance pad on the right tire was missing, I assumed that I would come in and pay to have that replaced. When I arrived at Discount Tire, Josh walked over and greeted me immediately after I parked. He took a look at my tires and noticed some slight but indeed appreciable bulging on the flanks of both tires. He said that it looks like I had gotten the tires from them, and I said that I thought I got the ones in the back from them and the ones in front from somewhere else but couldn't remember. We went inside and pulled up my account, but only my old car was listed there. I would've been willing to pay for whatever was needed at that time as if the tires had come from someone else (especially since I couldn't remember one way or the other), but Josh went the extra mile and suggested that my car could be listed under my dad's name. He looked it up, and sure enough, there was my car with those exact tires listed. Since the tires were still under warranty (the "road guarantee"), they were replaced free of charge. I received a text when my car was ready to be picked up, which was very convenient. I did pay $22 to ensure that the road guarantee would also be placed upon the new tires and consider this to be money well spent. All things considered, Josh saved me over $120 by taking the time to verify that my old tires were bought from them. I was very impressed with this place and would highly recommend it to my friends and family. read more

Beware!!!! My daughter who is a college student had a diagnostic test, they replace battery (which I brought one from pep boys 2 weeks before) and alternator repair here and was charged dealership price for remanufacturers parts. The car is still having problems. She returned to their s location to make sure the battery and alternator was not defective and they would not test the alternator. read more

I went into the store on Monday and met with the Assistant Manager, Steven. Told him I was looking to replace the tires on my wife's truck. He asked a couple questions about how much does she drive it (not much at all) and few other questions. Then he showed me 2 different sets of tires, one being the entry model set and then one step above that. Quoted me a price on both, with and with out the extra service warranty. Told him I would be back in a few days. On Wednesday, I called back to confirm with Steven and ask about matching a competition price. He was off but the guy that answered (Corey) said he could help out with the price some. He made me a price offer that I thought was fair. Schedlued an appointment for the next morning. Today, show up a few moments early for my 8:30 am appointment, get checked in and pay and was told it would take around 45 minutes. I began to worry a little bit after seeing my truck sit there in the parking lot for another 15 minutes. At 9:00 am another employee comes up and hands me my receipt and says it will be a few more minutes. At 9:05 am, I'm pulling out of the parking lot with a new set of tires and being satisfied. As I'm leaving the showroom, I told the 3 guys "Thank You". All three stopped what they were doing (2 were on the phone) and told me thank you and have a good day. The guy outside with my keys shook my hand and said "Thank you for your business." This to me, is the Old School of Business and what is missing in the majority of business now days.
