Excellent customer service. They price match and do make an attempt to keep your business. They communicate frequently with you letting you the status of the vehicle to include any delays in getting it done by the time they estimate it will be done. Clean facilities and decent amount of seating. Only thing to be aware of is the price quote you get is for the tires and not for the discount tire 'certificates'... but regardless the certificate is reasonably priced and well worth it because they do a replacement for the tire for any issue which is a good deal... because the manufacture warranty only covers wear and tear, not road hazards. I pulled into the parking lot to get in line for the free air tire service. As I pulled in a car quickly pulled out and didn't see me so he honked his horn. He then pulled up in a car to the tire guy and told him something. So when it was my turn the tire guy said "My manager told me to tell you to slow down because you came around the corner very fast and cut him off" Now... a grown man, a manager at that, passed down the info to have someone else do his dirty work. I've been a discount tire customer for over 20 years and I've had very little issues. Every time I try to compare prices and shop around I end up coming back to discount if nothing else to price match. The shop on Kino I have been using every couple of years since they opened with no major issues. I usually try to make an appointment so that I don't have to wait and even if I do a walk in I am seeing in a reasonable amount of time. You should plan on at least 30 minutes if you have an appointment and over an hour if you are a walk-in. Just like other discount tire locations they have free air checks. To get the best deal I recommend you shop around and always see if you can price match. Always look for discounts around the major holidays especially Labor Day memorial Day and thanksgiving. Using their own credit card does save you a lot of money and there is a veterans discount. Currently to get the veterans discount you have to place your order online. read more

Either they are built into the tire price or they are seperated and priced seperately. Shopping around tire prices are relatively the same, and I think they have one of the best warranties around. One thing I appreciate is they have locations everywhere so if you need a tire they can get it. This can be said for Walmart; however, if they don't have the tire they can order it to arrive in a few days. With discount they can usually get it from another store and magically a guy with a truck shows up with your tire. No matter who you purchase your tires through if you get a flat and need a repair they do it for free. And if you want to purchase a road hazard warranty for your existing tires they can do that as well even if you didn't buy them there. This review is solely for their customer service, specifically Seth, who helped me tremendously even though I was extremely frustrated. He was kind and patient and followed through on his word. After coming to this location from another location being told that they were the only ones with the tire size I needed (different brand). I was actually headed to Texas but noticed a screw in my tire so I thought it best not to get on the road in that condition. Seth ordered me the correct tire, same brand as my other after advising me it may feel weird with the other brand. I would hands-down recommend this place. I came here and got my car towed to this location. They helped me immediately and also was very friendly from beginning to end. They also recommended some options for my tire which got flattened. Their check in wasn't bad it was much quicker and easier than I thought. And they got my car immediately once it was towed in. I only had to wait 20 minutes maximum. And was really pleased with the service and help save me some time. And the tire wasn't even that expensive either which was nice after driving 2200 miles the last few days before getting to the tire place. It could have been a really crappy night if not for Discount Tire.... On our way to the movies when my husband noticed something not quite right about the tires as he drove. Pulled over and saw a large section of metal threads exposed in the front right tire. Safety being a concern, we needed to find a tire shop and skip the movies so we knew Discount Tire was right across from the Tucson Marketplace and drove there immediately. Only thing is - it was 6:35pm and they closed at 6pm. As we drove up, Armando came out to see what the trouble was. We showed him and said we knew they were closed and wondered where we could go for help. Armando said there was no way he could let us leave with our tire looking like that. If we got in a wreck on the way home because of that tire, he would feel responsible. And just like that, my car was in the bay and we were in the lobby with the assistant manager, Moises. The customer service exhibited by Armando and Moises is exceptional and I can't praise them enough. We were out of there within 25 minutes with two new tires and still made it to the movie on time! When we were finishing up, an older woman pulled up with a completely flat tire - mind you it was close to 7pm at this point - and what do you think happened? That's right, she was taken care of with no hesitation at all. It was Friday night, the guys at Discount Tire had worked all day and I know they just wanted to get home to their families but still they took the time and cared enough to make sure their customers were taken care of and safe. They price match with other stores which is awesome and offer lower prices compared to competitors. They park customers in the parking for to long. I visit there california stores regularly, they take all customers quickly and then make you wait, they don't make you wait this long to hear what you need. I've been to a few Discounts and I have to say this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I honestly almost left but I had an appointment. I stood in line for 10 minutes with a few "We'll be with you in a minute," lines thrown my way. Only two people were in front of me. There was even a point where I was next but some previous person from before I got there jumped in front of me got attention right away. To say I was fed up was an understatement. When it was finally my turn I told them what I was there for. The sales man said my tire was the wrong size and could not rotate them. He wasn't keen on selling me two tires or discounts. I have for many years used to discount tire which is the reason that I contacted the store on kino parkway to get some tires for my daughter. This experience started out fine when John had suggested we use a different size tire that was actually cheaper and available this way my daughter could get her tires that day, which was a very good thing. I tried to pay over the phone for the tires but was told that they could not do that and that I had to go online and pay there which I did. When my daughter arrived for her appointment she was told that she had to have a copy of the credit card and the driver's license for the person paying for the tires. John told me that he had told me of this requirement when I had talked with him which he did not! I was in a situation that I could not leave to go show this but I did take a picture of the ID in the card so that it could be shown. While one of the employees was moving my daughter's car he ran into another vehicle there and damaged her rear bumper, the store offered to give her one tire free if she would not file an insurance claim with them,she called me and asked me what to do I said to file the claim because fixing the bumper would be a lot more than one tire. A fact that I'm sure the people there at discount tire new and we're just trying to get rid of a bad situation as easily as they could. This made me feel that they were not honest or reliable which was proven a day later when my daughter called to get more information she was told oh those tires were never paid for and they did nothing but give her a lot of excuses and grief, she called her own insurance company who I assume contacted discount tire and they called back saying they would get her the information she needed. Now as I say I've always liked and trusted discount tire and hopefully their other stores are not as dishonest as this one but I would definitely suggest that no one use the discount tire on kino parkway very shady! read more

Just got tires on my 2019 rt charger. I had threads showing recently and it was a Sunday so I went to El tingon to get it replaced. They fked my bottom front left because I see bends in the metal. Not only that, I noticed vibrations at 55+mph. I had a bad feeling about the tire they put on, and a few days later, I literally saw a tire unravel on a minivan in front of me on 22nd. Due to the bad omen, I headed straight to discount tire. I ordered replacements for all four tires while retaining 2 of the OEM tires for spares. I walked in, ordered the tires, signed up for the cc since they offer 0% interest monthly payments and they gave me an appointment to return once the tires were available. I'm used to run flats from all my previous cars so I ordered the Perelli P Zero PZ4 Luxury. Discount tire was prompt to change the tire and when I asked for the 2 spare oems, they wrapped them in plastic and stuffed them in my trunk. What service! Not to mention they answered all my questions patiently. Now my car doesn't have vibrations at all no matter what speed! The car seems to just roll even with less psi than what was in the OEMs. Not sure if that makes any sense. I can feel much better traction even when the OEMs were new and the ride is much quieter and smoother. My car feels like a different car. If you have the stock goodyear eagle a/s that comes with the charger, get rid of them, sell them, burn them. You'll notice a huge difference. read more

I took my truck in today 25 February 20. I had a nail in one of my tires and obviously it happened while I was having one of the busiest days at work. I have to say, I have literally never had this amazing of an experience. They were beyond busy but the employees were running everywhere and getting things done.
