This is not the case here! These guys fixed a flat tire on my car so fast I almost thought it was a joke. From walking in the door to paying for my tire repair it took a measly 15 minutes. I had a flat, and AAA came out to my home to put the donut spare on. The next day I needed to go to an appointment near CJ, and the spare went flat. AAA wanted me to be towed elsewhere, but I was near CJ and went there. They were very nice, but couldn't get me in for a couple of hours, which didn't work for me, as I needed to go, and I live 20 miles away. But they could, and did, remove the spare, and inflate both the spare and the original flat, which seemed to be OK. They put the original back on, and I was on my way in about 40 minutes. I had gone to Discount Tire, but was quite disappointed in their service and pricing. So, I went here to get four new tires. I was quite pleased with the service and pricing (a few hundred dollars cheaper then equivalent tires at Discount). I like that I only had to wait about 45 minutes for them to do everything even though I didn't have an appointment. I felt good about supporting a local business, too. C and J has been here since 1973. I will definitely return whenever I need tire service or sales. read more

Went to this place cause my girlfriend had a flat tire could only take the tire in, they patched it and put it back in my truck in about 15 mins. Fast service and very affordable for myself, a broke college student. I would highly recommend this place for your tire and wheel services. Came here at the recommendation of a good friend. I was in desperate need of a tire and a rare sized tire, at that. I got a flat at the most inopportune time and desperate times call for desperate measures. I had called around in town and got prices for 2 tires upwards of $300. I really at the time could only afford one tire and knowing that It doesn't make sense to put ONE brand new tire on a car that will need new tires soon, I preferred to just do a used tire. I called C&J as soon as I heard the recommendation. I believe word of mouth goes a long way. I had always driven by this place not really thinking much of it but decided to entertain the idea to come here. The staff is very friendly and over the phone they give you all the information you need. Lo and behold, they had the exact size tire I needed and told me what the price would be. When I went in on a Friday morning to get the job done, the owner knew right away who I was because I suppose he remembered me and the car I had from our phone conversation. About 40 minutes later, I was outta there with a pretty snazzy used tire that replaced the donut I was on for about a week (I know, I know.. hold the lectures). Cory is the one who took care of me- he didn't tell me how badly my tires were aligned.. he didn't lecture me on how badly my other tires needed to be changed. He actually didn't try to upsell me on anything which is SO SO APPRECIATED! He did exactly what I needed them to do and nothing more. May I just say that the used tire I bought looks pretty much brand new, also? I was soooo amazed by their service that I then recommended them to my friend and fellow Yelper who came here 3 days later and got all 4 of her tires done too! We are both loyal C&J customers. At one point I asked how long and was told that the one on the phone would be able to get it done but when I approached him he said he was busy with something and went inside. C&J is the only place I will go for my car. They wouldn't allow me to do anything to my car that would cost me way more money in the long run. They actually looked out for me and my pocket. I actually feel like they are family! When someone else takes my car in to get it looked at, he calls me and ask me if it is ok to do something to my car and tells me the pricing. This review is only from the perspective of a U-Haul customer; I have no idea how they are with tire/wheel/auto repair. After having selected C&J as my preferred pickup location for a 6'x12' trailer, when I arrived they said they did not have such a trailer. At first they thought I must have intended a U-Haul center across the street, but when I provided my contract#, they realized that was not the case. I have no idea who dropped the ball: whether the U-Haul online reservation system is rubbish, or whether someone at C&J overlooked a notification. I do not know how the system is supposed to work; all I know is that it didn't. To their credit, they made a phone call -- I think to the U-Haul center three blocks down the street -- and confirmed that location had the needed trailer, then directed me there, which worked out fine. (Also to their credit, they did not try change to a smaller trailer on hand.) So...a bummer for not having on hand what was expected, but kudos for doing the best they could given the situation. read more
