We were out and about in the country roads when my husband said that his tires were deflating. We had just put air in the tires that morning. The tires were less than 3 months old. Our only guess was that the rims were the culprit. I started Googling wheel shops in the area. We were in Granton and there wasn't any shops that carried wheels. Lot of places were available just for online ordering. We were heading towards home when I stumbled on the Discount Tires website. When we walked into the establishment, we were acknowledged immediately. After welcoming us in, the sales person took us to his computer, and started typing away our needs. He found us the correct wheel size, compared a few for us, and really allowed us to choose what we want without overselling us anything. What we purchased was at our price range and we are very satisfied with the wheel we selected. Within a few minutes, our keys were taken and we saw our truck being moved into the garage to have the work done. It only took an hour, maybe?The shop is clean. So was the bathroom. I walked in as the store manager, Zack Kiefer, was finishing up with another customer. She was really happy that they found some problems, explained them to her, and fixed everything. This was my first time at a Wisconsin discount tire store, so I was happy to overhear a positive review within 3 mins of walking in the door. Zack took care of me next and was super responsive as I asked questions regarding the status of my aging tires. He went above and beyond in educating me about the health of my tires and the best way to take advantage of some upcoming sales. (Their black friday deal is great guys!) Overall I felt that Zack was super competent and attentive. A really nice and caring guy as well -- which probably translates into a great team that he manages. The waiting area is similar to the other discount store stores I have visited elsewhere. However it was a lot less empty than the MN stores I usually go to. Everything was very clean and the employees looked to be practicing reasonable safety procedures for covid. I've always had good experiences with the Discount Tires chain and am happy to stay a loyal customer. read more

He helped with wheels/rims/installation with a lifted truck, was willing to match any online price and never lost his patience (who knew there were so many factors/options with wheels). I had a great expensive here and with every team member that helped me through the process. I am from out of state and it was time to get some winter/ all weather tires in my whip. Due to the cold weather my tires lost pressure and I made it worse by trying to add air at quick trip. I called them over to see about ordering new tires and coming in to get my air pressure fixed. They were so helpful, zack helped me pick the a good quality tire that fit my lifestyle. I had many questions about other tires after ordering the tires for my car and every time I called he was nice about helping me out. I came back for install a few days later and they were all great! They were quick, efficient and had a smile on their faces. I come from California where you sometimes (a lot of times) are made to feel like a burden by reps at places like this. I had a great experience here and it just further proved my decision to get the fu*k out of California to be the right decisions for my family and I. They have gained a lifelong customer! Well I should not be surprised by the service I've received based on the name of the store. Discount tire has fallen short of expectations on all four services. I guess the main determining Factor here is the fact that had to go back four times! I've bought tires from Sam's club in the past and never had an issue with the sensors. Since I bought tires at discount tire, I've had issues four times! My recommendation is to pay a little more and get a better experience. I will say that this is an affordable place to get your tires. If you don't care how the people treat you and all that you're looking for is cheap tires, this is the place to go. But the way that I was treated today was awful. I first called yesterday to see if they could fit me in quick for a tire rotation which should only take about 10 minutes. Instead of politely telling me that they were booked for the day, the man used an awful tone to tell me that if I want to come in at all I need an appointment. That's fine. I went on the website to book an appointment for a tire rotation (which is a super fast and simple job!) for 1:30 pm. I get there and the man at the front desk was already being rude with his tone. Then, he told me that even though I had booked an appointment, it would be an hour and a half wait. I watched more than three people walk in and out asking if they could "squeeze them in" for a job and these three people were serviced immediately. Why let people book appointments if walk ins come first? So I waited. An hour and 40 minutes later, it was finally done. I have done tire rotations many times myself, but it was extremely cold outside and I don't have a heated garage so I decided to take it somewhere. When I was there, all of the men talked to me like I was a child that couldn't possibly understand the procedure of a tire rotation. I know other young women that have gone to this place and gotten the same treatment. Sexism at his finest. If you are a woman of ANY age, I do not recommend ever going here. read more
