It was a gift…read more I returned it withing 2 HOURS of it leaving the store and the sales person would not take it back even with a receipt in hand. This is completely against Hallmark's refund policy. It states that you can return an item for any reason within 90 days with a receipt. She refused to take the item back or even exchange it. I showed her the receipt. I paid cash for this item. What is going on in that store?

Last fall, an employee upgraded half the phones on our account and changed our billing plan without telling us he did it! We had gone in to only add two lines to our account, and did not want any other changes. This spring, the manager of the store insisted these things do not happen under his new leadership. Yet again, our bill had surprises! One example was that our phone insurance was canceled on the only line that wanted it, and then they added the insurance to our new line. The rate is also $10/month higher, the person who wanted the insurance doesn't have it listed on his line anymore, and a call to the corporate office confirmed that the salesperson received a sales incentive for making the change. Additionally, the manager himself told me we were overpaying on our bill by over $80/month, and that I should let him change the phone plan on all our lines. I smelled a rat and called corporate to ask about our lines. There I learned that his way I could "save money" was to downgrade all the lines, lose our mobile hot spots and reduce the data plans to nearly nothing. Worse, the change would've also reduced my teacher discount from 25% to 15%, diminishing the supposed "savings." Save yourselves time and money- just call the 800# where the staff knows more and will be far more honest.

I miss the paper ads and coupons as well as personalized service from someone stationed in cosmetics, but this store has a lot going for it. All but one employee I have ever come across at this Walgreens have been extremely helpful and friendly. They open the second front register when the front starts to form a line. I've also checked out in the pharmacy before. Even though I'm not used to pharmacies which completely close during lunch, when they've been open, they have always been cheerfully useful regarding questions. This Walgreens location is also a local drop-off for FedEx. You just take your pre labeled packages to the photo department, and a Walgreens employee will take your info in order to text you a receipt with tracking. On my most recent visit, a most pleasant employee at the front saw me with a box and was kind enough to take care of it for me right them and there saving me time. I feel secure leaving a package in their care. This Walgreens store is always clean and fun to browse. Sometimes you can find some good deals on things like notebooks, saline nasal spray, stuffed animals, candy, locally themed t-shirts and sweatshirts... Their hair care and seasonal aisles are always worth a look. You can even find quite a few groceries here. Walgreens also still carries tobacco products unlike a certain competitor. If you like candy, take a look at what's in the display on the left side of the checkout counter for the featured specials of the month. Four stars mainly for customer service and cleanliness.

The staff are often welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The pharmacy is usually efficient and attentive. All and all, if one needs the services of a drug store; this facility is a solid option.

I literally am flapping my arms from my vehicle pleading for her to let me attempt to find a 5x plain shirt. FedEx had my Amazon ordered item at 5pm shows up in my drive way and can't find my package even though he had my name on his route. So I am scrambling last minute. Going over by 2 minutes.... We were in the market for a small riding lawn mower. We met one of the reps from this store at the…read morelawn and garden show. He was very knowledgeable. He even offered us advice when the store had their sales and how much of a discount we could get at the sale. A couple months later, we came to the shop when he told us to, and sure to his word, the mower we wanted was on sale at the price we wanted. We also bought the bag attachments for leaves and lawn clippings which they had to special order. They tried very hard find some discount or manufacturers rebate on the bagging system, but alas, there were none. While we were in the store paying, a loyal customer came into the shop needing a part for his giant lawn mower. He said he drove 30 miles just to come to this particular shop because of the service. I understood what he meant when they looked for the part, couldn't find it in inventory, took that exact part off a new mower, charged him some nominal price and sent him on his way. They gave us a lengthy tutorial on how to care for our new lawnmower, where to buy the right gas, what additives to use when, etc. They delivered the mower to our house and taught us how to drive it. Then, they came back and picked the mower up, took it back to the store to have the attachments put on and returned it to us. We prefer buying from a local store where if we have a problem, they will come pick up the mower and take it to their shop to be fixed. The price was even cheaper than the bigger stores in town and in Lafayette so that was a plus. When we need a snow blower, we will be back.

That is money I can use for food or other bills. I appreciate that he did this not knowing at the start of it would work or not. Others might not even try.
