At first I was thinking about going to scrubs and beyond since it's well known but I chose this one because of the reviews... and the reviews don't lie! wow...what a customer service!!!..when I arrived there was a young lady sorting and organizing the scrubs by color and size, she worked with amazing speed and accuracy. Later I heard the manager refer to her as Julie...well "Julie" showed me around the store and even though a have a difficult body size to work with she advised me on what looked professional and looked best with my body type. As far as i am concerned Julie was an angel sent from heaven and as long as she is there i will always get my scrubs from Discount Uniforms. I honestly thought the selection was small, I bought a pair of scrubs for about 45 dollars which was a bit pricey for me. They were helpful and offered their help more than once. The cheaper scrubs were around 12-15 dollars so about 30 for the set but unfortunately they were a tad bit too big for me. read more

This place is fantastic! We were going to Scrubs and Beyond for my wife's scrubs, and only started going here because Texas Children's Hospital has a system where you can by from here and have it come out of her paycheck. I'm so glad we did because Scrubs and Beyond has very poor customer service, Mr. Patel at Discount Uniform should TEACH customer service for a living. He's fast, efficient, courteous, and helpful. I came upon this place by accident after having no luck at a bigger scrub store next door (Scrubs and Beyond). This was a pretty small place on the outside, but I'd figure I'd try and see if they had what I needed anyways. I'm glad I chose to go in there because the manager, Amit Patel, was very helpful with helping me select the right scrubs for my body type and what material to get that doesn't fade. He didn't have a pair of bottoms in my size, but made me try them in another color and I loved them, so he called his other store, TMC Scrubs N More, down the street and had them hold it for me while I went over there to look for even more scrubs (since he said they may have a broader selection). He offered to go there and pick up the pants before I even told him I was going to the other store, so the fact that he was willing to do that for a customer was outstanding and rarely seen nowadays. I went to Discount Uniform on Saturday 08/18/12 to take advantage of the Tax Free Weekend. When I got there, the guy was helping a customer but he greeted us and asked us if we needed any help. I showed him the list from my school and he knew exactly which scrubs to show me. He even knew what size to get me without asking. He offered me two different styles of scrub pants, one which has a elastic waist with zipper and the other which is drawstring only. I tried on the elastic waist pant scrub and top and they fit perfect. The guy was busy ringing up the first customer as well as trying to help the other customer that was looking for sizes but I think he did a great job assisting all of us at the same time as well as answering the phone that kept on ringing one call after the other. One thing I would suggest is to hire another person to help out and to make it more organized. read more

I was recommended by my Nursing Professors to go here. PLEASE DO NOT! I tried their 10 shoes and decided to order 9.5. I HOPED that the ones I ordered would fit me. Here's the kicker. Do NOT use this company!!!! I placed an order online. I was testing a coupon code and instead of rejecting my code, mu placed my order for the entire amount without a discount. I sent two emails to cancel - one of which was only minutes after placing my order - and recieved no response. I called twice as well and received no response either. No one will pick up the phone. I left two phone messages and did not get a call back. THIS COMPANY IS OWNED BY SLIME BALLS WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS!!! My order was not stopped and my product was shipped. Ugh. read more

So Discount Uniform Corp isn't exactly the most clean or organized store, especially when you compare it to the major scrub store a few blocks down, but, don't be intimated or overwhelmed by the initial appearance. Instead, if you know what brand you usually wear, the owner is extremely helpful in locating the items for you. Also, if you're not quite sure what size you are or what you're looking for, he is able to guide you in the right direction and get you exactly what you need. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. My suggestion is just to ask him directly as opposed to perusing the numerous shelves full of scrubs. I'm about to start a new job and will definitely be returning to this store later this weekend for more scrubs! read more

I found a great treasure when I found this place and the owner. I tend to make due and settle a lot. My thinking being I have extra on the tummy , and hips and so on and on. I did not get his name I should therefore name him Angel. He did for me what I could not do he gave me the best of everything in the store. Mr Angel ,so knowledgeable about the store and the brands of the uniforms I was not left on my own to fall into that deep black hole of 'I should have been working on losing the weight and 'this pant is too short cause I'm taking up the material in my butt and thighs . I felt so tired , but I had this man giving me honest , real feed back that I listened to because he was so supportive and soft spoken. I told him I wore a medium top , he gave it to me and a large. I thought I will be polite and try this on . Wow! the Large was so comfortable ! The next thing I knew I heard clothes that he was hanging on the door nob . When I was ready I got them to try them on . These scrubs were the wrong color I ask 'Why was he giving me these uniforms .These are a different brand and different brands fit differently You can try these on to see the difference . I was so amazed I would have never taken the time to look though those uniforms and selected another brand just to see how it felt. He was right! I purchased two sets of uniforms because Mr Angel was there to find each selection and encourage me to get out of those "high water flood ready pants" into uniforms that felt great because I was in the right size and length . Mr Angel kept me moving while my momentum was up with those wrong colors only to have them in my color on the counter once I told him how please I was and that I wanted the two selections. He called the other store to have them get the top I needed cause it was at that location just up the street. The more I had to think and recall this experience the more peace I feel. I could not see I could be comfortable since I was so hard on myself cause I live in my head in that image of long, long ago.
