This is the 2nd time we have been misdiagnosed, sent to the hospital bc of their misdiagnosis, and incurred unnecessary hospital bills due to their misdiagnosis. When you come here, the doctors there are always giving you generalized googled responses. For instance, if you come In with stomach pains... They'll prescribe you antibiotics not bc they know u need it, but bc they just want to cover all basis. And they'll say, if u don't get feel better in a couple days... try the antibiotics. That's the kind of shit they do. Not only did they misdiagnose my daughter, but fear mongered us to go to CHOC hospital where we wasted 4 additional hours sitting in the hallway the entire time. Only to find out that Hoag was wrong. All in all, I'm glad my daughter doesn't have the condition they stated she had but that CHOC visit still cost me over $2k out of pocket! When I call them to get some help with our bill due to their error... they state "nothing we could do." So you use people's kids and scare them into going to the hospital bc you can't provide the care that's needed? Bc you're unsure about the care you're providing and need a bigger and more experienced facility to provide the care? 2x this place has done this to my family. I will never ever use this facility again.

When I attempted to resolve the issue, I encountered multiple problems: I was unable to reach anyone for months The laboratory changed their address and phone number after the initial invoice No chain of custody for the specimen could be provided No consent or authorization was on file No documentation linking the test to my child was produced Despite the lack of proof, I was threatened with collections. Ultimately, I paid the bill solely to avoid potential credit damage--not because the charge was valid. What was most disappointing was the lack of support or advocacy from PM Pediatrics in resolving this issue, even though the situation stemmed from care received at their facility. After over a year of effort, I was left with no meaningful assistance. There was a lady in the front that had an attitude and was not positive which affected the experience however, Jose really went above and beyond. He helped push my wheelchair and even brought in a boot and called other clinics to see if they would be able to take my insurance. Unfortunately they do not have imaging at this urgent care so if anyone has laceration issues, do not come here. I felt really cared by Jose and he went above and beyond for the service. Parking is so close to where the building is. Checked in for X-ray and we barely sat down, they already came out to call my mom. I walked her in then went outside to wait for her and I didn't even finish my phone call that they already walked her out to me in the garden!! The office was aware that I am currently injured, on medical leave, and experiencing ongoing back and knee pain. When I arrived, I was told that the provider who was supposed to see me had left for lunch, and I was asked to sit and wait for about 30 minutes. I find this very concerning and disrespectful to patients. People come to your office because they are not feeling well. If an appointment is scheduled for a specific time, the provider should either be available at that time or the appointment should be rescheduled in advance. Even though I was initially told the provider would return in about 30 minutes, I was ultimately seen about an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time. It felt like there was no consideration for the time I was asked to come in or for the fact that I was in pain. I would appreciate an explanation of why this happened and what will be done to prevent this from happening again.

Wait time was about 20 minutes despite no one seemingly in front of me. Waiting room is spacious. The visit was brief and efficient. First thing I noticed was how no one was wearing a name tag. I had no clue the name of the gal that was helping me. I imagine it's reflective of the other less-than-stellar reviews, or their perspective on the patient population they serve. Kudos to the MA (medical assistant) that was helping me though. When she realized I'd be a more challenging "stick" to find a vein on, she deferred me to her colleague who was able to draw blood on his first poke. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy - but you should be fine during the daytime.
