They refuse to take you in unless you pay fully in advance even though they know we've been there before and are fully insured (unless you're undocumented and then it's free) But they will only reimburse you what they get paid after their normal deductions. I asked for a bill instead so I can send it in for reimbursement but they refused and only wanted credit card payment or else NO doctor. We walked out! Billing will email notices immediately stating they are charging your credit card instead of sending statement or invoice. Even for very small amounts $20 and under. I was called in the back within minutes of my arrival time, the provider listened to my concerns, and the pharmacy received my prescriptions promptly after my visit. this used to be an excellent Urgent Care. Last three times I've been here. The people are so blatantly unprofessional. I asked them a simple question. What is this injection that you're giving me this Toradol? He says to me" oh it's just my job to give the injection. I don't know anything about it. You're gonna have to talk to someone else.". Not gonna let someone stick a needle in me if they don't even know what the medication is. It's simple it is an anti inflammatory NSAID. The last time was here this person working here couldn't even figure out how to put the blood pressure cuff on my arm. I had to do it myself kid was stoned on something.. my advice go somewhere else. I think in a nutshell, nobody is training these people how to speak with customers and how to be professional. This is Healthcare. You should feel safe with the people giving it to you. read more

Avoid this place if you can--there are far better urgent care options. Our experience made it clear that patient care is not the priority here; revenue is. We initially visited for an illness and were prescribed a course of antibiotics. After completing the treatment, we were still experiencing the same symptoms and had seen no meaningful improvement. Just three days after finishing the medication, we called to follow up, as the PA had specifically instructed us to do if symptoms persisted. We were also told that some infections may require a second round of antibiotics. Instead of evaluating the situation or providing continuity of care, Dr. Noman--who was not even on site--refused treatment and instructed the PA not to help us unless we paid another $150 copay for a new visit. Refusing to address an unresolved issue from a visit that had occurred only days earlier felt both unethical and deeply disappointing. We weren't seeking a new diagnosis; we were following the treatment plan and instructions we had been given. The entire process was incredibly frustrating. We spent nearly three hours trying to resolve the issue--almost an hour on hold by phone, followed by another two hours in person--only to be told that payment mattered more than patient care. Another concern is that there never seems to be an actual physician on site. Every appointment appears to be handled by a PA, and based on our experience, they do not seem adequately supported or empowered to manage many urgent care situations. I've also heard similar complaints from friends who have visited this clinic. One recurring issue is their misleading online scheduling system. They allow patients to select a date and time online, and the confirmation texts clearly appear to be appointment confirmations. However, when you arrive, you're told that you didn't actually book an appointment--you merely "registered." I even showed them the text message with my appointment date and time, but they insisted it did not guarantee a scheduled slot. While I was there, multiple patients arrived believing they had appointments, only to be told the same thing. I arrived at 8:00 a.m., right when they opened, and was the first patient in the building. Despite having a confirmed appointment time, I still waited nearly an hour because the PA didn't arrive until approximately 8:45 a.m. If the clinic opens at 8:00, why are appointments being scheduled before a provider is even available to see patients? The lack of professionalism became even more apparent later. After waiting two hours and repeatedly being told that a provider would speak with me, I was eventually connected to someone named Angela from the front desk. She immediately informed me that she was "doing me a favor" by talking to me because it was her day off. I had never asked to speak with management--I had been waiting to speak with a medical provider. Her response was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate given the circumstances. From the confusing scheduling practices to the lack of follow-up care, poor communication, and apparent focus on collecting another copay before addressing an unresolved medical issue, this experience left me with little confidence in the clinic's professionalism, ethics, or commitment to patient care. read more

They aren't so express if you want an x-ray done! The tech never showed up to get my son a shoulder x-ray!!! We waited for almost 2 hours and no one bothered to tell us they weren't coming. They then tried to send us somewhere else that they said accepted our insurance and we got there and of course they didn't accept it!!!! We've also had issues with them calling us back to get results from being sick with a sore throat. They always say they will call with the results and they never do! I was very sick with the flu right at Christmas. I had no insurance and I had a bad cough and they weren't scared of me! They were reasonably priced. They were honestly amazing and compassionate. I couldn't have asked for a better experience while I was feeling the absolute worst. Never go to this urgent care. From the front desk to the medical assistant and the doctor, it was very clear that they simply did not care. The lack of empathy and attention was obvious. The doctor came in, listened to the lungs on only one side, took a flu test, and that was it. The entire visit lasted about 2 minutes. They did not check the throat, the ears, look for any rash, or perform a proper overall examination. In other words, nothing was properly evaluated. As expected, the only recommendation was their favorite answer: Tylenol or ibuprofen. No explanations, no guidance, no real medical care. If you are looking for thorough care and providers who actually care about their patients, stay far away from this place. read more

They Don't know what they are doing, THEY ARE SO SLOW, they stare you down like ur nothing, customer service is shit. GET NEW RECEPTIONS WHO ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! And they can't even explain where that charge was from, not even print it out?! They only can print a receipt if u pay?! Doesn't make sense. No wonder 2.5 star review. Made 2nd appointment in a week. Son was diagnosed with inner ear infection. Did course of antibiotics, got worse not better. Today, waited over 2 hours to be seen and we had appointment! Now, pharmacy has closed and have to wait until tomorrow to get prescription. They also charged me for this 2nd visit. Now out $230 just to been seen! Will NEVER come Back here again. Staff is snarky. Girl at front desk asked her "supervisor" if I should be charged again since same exact issue and not any better. I came to this walk-in clinic because SAUSD referred families here for student sports physicals. The district posted that the cost would be $35, which is reasonable for a school clearance exam. However, when I arrived, the clinic staff told me the cost was $150 instead -- more than four times the posted price. This feels very misleading and unfair to parents who are just trying to get their kids cleared for sports. Families plan and budget based on the information the district provides, and to show up and suddenly be told a much higher price is frustrating and disappointing. I hope the clinic and SAUSD clarify the correct cost and provide consistent, transparent pricing moving forward. Parents deserve to know upfront what they'll actually be charged. read more

I took my daughter in because she has red and white spots on and near her tonsils. They did a rapid test and it came back negative and they said they aren't always accurate but since my daughter was in a lot of pain and the results would take some time, the doctor was going to call in a prescription. It was never called in. I called the day after and asked them to see what it wasn't called in. The doctor never ordered it and wasn't working. I came here just for a TB risk assessment for my work, and the wait time was alright. Alejandro, the medical assistant at the front desk, was super polite and courteous! I actually spoke to him on the phone prior to coming to make sure they were open on Memorial Day, and he also displayed proper phone etiquette. However, the chubby Latina front desk person in 20s with glasses and thick fake lashes who works on Saturday morning is the worst front desk person I've met in life. I had a medical issue that I wanted to address right away as it was causing me discomfort on this Saturday night. I looked for a local urgent care that was available late and express is open until 8 PM. The check-in was easy to do using a QR code. I was taken back immediately With Xavier as the medical assistant. He was so kind, compassionate, and polite. I felt like I was in excellent hands. The Dr. came in promptly, had great bedside manner, my medical issue was addressed quickly, and medicine was prescribed.Every single staff member was courteous and the place was clean! This place is horrible. Took my son in for sore throat/congestion/cough. They told Me that they can't swab him unless I pay 40 dollars for Covid rapid test. And also 30 dollars for strep test. If they send to a lab then my insurance will cover it. How does this make any sense?? They are insane. I told them it seems more like a sinus infection. They didn't even look at his nose. Or anything. So they ended up swabbing him and this was on Wednesday September 17. They called me. On Saturday, September 20th to let me know that it was negative. Melissa PA called me. It took 3 days to get results. I ended up taking him to his pediatrician and right away she said this is a sinus infection. Put him on antibiotics and he's so much better today Saturday. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE. or SO NOT COME HERE YOURSELF. I will be reporting them to my insurance as well. read more

The front staff here is extremely rude and apparently per the front staff employee 'Sara' the providers don't know what they're doing or what precautions are prior to speaking to patients". I was told to call back if a medication was not working and that they would prescribe me something else and Sara said "NO they don't know what they're doing or what needs to be done before prescribing medication" and was extremely rude about it, when I asked to speak to the manager she said her manager was not in yet, when I mentioned I'd like to speak to someone of authority she mentioned "again my manager who's not here and I've never spoken to you before" I'm extremely over how unwelcoming the front staff is every time I call or go in, for example I was in last Saturday and the front staff was joking around and being rude anytime I asked a question and it made the visit so uncomfortable when I already felt sick. Very nice clinic, I'm not sure if it's only female staffed bc I only saw very lovely ladies. Everyone was so pleasant, the girls working the front, the MA who took my vitals.. I don't remember her name but she was a blonde young girl. The Nurse who checked if I had glass in my foot, I can't recall her name but she had dark hair and she was very pretty. By far the worst Urgent care ever my Wife made an appointment for 7:00 when she arrived the ride front desk man charged her 150.00 saying that she had 2 insurance policy's and wasn't allowed to bill insurance with both on her name which she does not have once we called our HR dept they straighten him out and said we jumped the gun on paying refunded our money and charged the 30$ co pay . This place is so bad. Do not come here. There is no point in making an appointment if I am going to be waiting an hour. When I first got there, ladies at the front seemed like I was bothering them. There was no confirmation I was checked in either. Once paid I was told that I couldnt get an itemized receipt, BOOOOOO. They told me they could get a summary of my visit once I was seen, but I needed to remind them before I left. Came out after my visit and asked, but it wasnt ready so they told me they would email it to me. 3 weeks later and I havent gotten anything, I knew they were telling me so I could get out the door. I would never come back. The ONLY pro about this place is the hours of operation, as someone who works a 9-5, it allowed me to still make it and be seen. My child came in sick with a fever and eye pain, and instead of care, I was harassed and spoken down to twice, with smirks the entire time. The receptionist, Sonia, even sarcastically told me about my 9-year-old, "This is not a PCP. Unless she's 49 years old." Absolutely inappropriate. Cameras should show her behavior toward an upset mother with a sick child. If she was here a few months ago, then it is definitely the same person I witnessed harassing another family last time. My family has been loyal patients here, and the doctors and nurses have always been wonderful. But Sonia's attitude drags down the clinic's reputation. Had some slight symptoms in November and was concerned I might have COVID-19 so booked an appointment online for a PCR test at this urgent care. Was slightly difficult to understand when appointments became available on their website, but checking in everyday eventually we were able to schedule a pcr rush test. Results were back in 48 hours. They send you a pdf to your email with results. The wait at the spot with an appointment in hand was about 15 minutes. They had us do quick paperwork, made us enter the building. Once paperwork was done, we sat in the car and parked in a spot. The nurses from the urgent care came to the parking spot and did nasal swabs while we sat in our cars for the PCR test.
