From start to finish, the process was seamless and easy. The RN took me in and I was done with my lab draw in 10 minutes. Yes I did have to pay out of pocket for the service but it was worth not having to deal with other hassles. 3 business days later, I got my result emailed to me. Oh and the lab was processed by Quest so it's definitely legitimate. Seems like they also offer a variety of lab tests. Come check them out if you are in need of a quick in-n-out visit.

I came here because I needed a TB test for my employer, and the entire experience was disappointing. When they administered the TB test, I was bleeding afterward, and they didn't offer me any gauze or even a Band Aid. Everything felt very rushed. When I asked for gauze, they simply told me they had run out. I was instructed to come back either Thursday or Friday by 12:30 p.m. to have my TB test read. I returned on Friday at 12:00 p.m., checked in, and was then told they were leaving for lunch 30 minutes earlier than their posted lunch time. I explained that I was only there to have my TB test checked, but they still told me to come back after lunch. By the time I returned, the acceptable timeframe to have my TB test read had expired because of their delay. Instead of taking responsibility, they told me I would need to get another TB test, pay an additional $25, and come back again on Monday, which wasn't possible for me because of work. The entire situation could have been avoided. It was handled very poorly, and I won't be coming back. (If you need a TB test)I highly recommend going somewhere else, like Urgent Care Pros. They were much more professional, welcoming, organized, and the facility was much cleaner. Save yourself the frustration and avoid coming here for a TB test.

The doctor, named Patricia, asked me questions and she listened to my story as I gave her context. She took a look at my throat and recognized what it was. It was tonsillitis. She quickly reassures me that this is 100% tonsillitis. She explains to me the differences between strep throat and tonsillitis. She also gives me a prescription of antibiotics strong enough to fight this. I thanked her and left.

The workers who originally helped me wouldn't even tell me what happened, acting like they couldn't talk to me, they waited until another front desk worker came out to let me know. I tend to be pretty understandable when it comes to low skilled workers like that, but they seem to care more about the inconvenience your presence causes, rather than getting you easily accessible life saving health care. That type of rudeness and attitude doesn't even belong in a McDonalds, let alone a public health service. OC is in a really bad spot, health care wise, if the people on the front line are that rude and unhelpful, I emplore the higher ups here to fire the sti treatment front desk workers, and hire people who actually give a damn about the health of this county, and have the communication skills enough to actually assist people, not throw them to the side. I pray that those workers and their families NEVER have to have their life saving treatment behind such gross and rude people. From the minute I walked into the front office, I was greeted by warm staff and felt welcomed in a calm environment with lots of resources in the front office table areas. With their housing program, their case managers and housing team tries their best to find secure housing for folx. Their criteria is specific, so make sure to ask in advance! Their SPARK program is affirming and an amazing opportunity to learn about substances, tolerance, and sexual health education in a group space. I felt connected with community and the gift card incentive is a sweet bonus! The HIV/STI testing is really easy, just fill out a form and get tested for free. They have HIV, syphilis, gonnorhea and chlamydia. Their testers are very professional and caring. Completely confidential and free which is nice. There are free condoms and lube here. They also have fentanyl testing strips and Narcan. Overall a really nice space that I would recommend to anyone in Orange County looking for affirming care or looking to get involved within this community!

I went in today with a badly bruised toe, and was unsure it it was perhaps broken or sprained. I…read moream presently only able to hobble in and wished to have X-rays taken. Incidentally, I had just come from another local urgent care, where i waited 30+ minutes, only to find out they didn't have an X-ray machine. The care at AFC appeared to be top notch. They took me quickly, took x-rays of the toe (fortunately no fractures!), and recommended a plan of treatment. Everyone in the office, from the fellow who checked me in, to the tech that took the X-rays (forget his name) to Caroline, the Physician Assistant, who looked at my toe, reported the results of treament and prescribed a course of treatment, were all so nice and professional. They were able to answer all my questions and address my concerns. Hopefully, I have no more future mishaps, but if I do, I'll know where to go. AFC Urgent Care Tustin!
