The best part is that it was fast because it was relatively empty, besides that it would have been worth driving to a further urgent care.

He let me know that if the copay for my medication at CVS was too high, I could call the office and he would gladly prescribe an alternative that was more affordable. The two ladies helping me with that process were great, they were very helpful in explaining things. I was seen quickly, within 10-15 minutes of my arrival. Sergio helped with taking my vitals and noting my symptoms. He repeated my blood pressure test after the first one was pretty high. He encouraged me to relax in between and breathe deeply. Of course, the second reading was better. He was very professional and compassionate! I saw Dr. Victor Nekrasov, who did a thorough examination and discussed the symptoms I've been having. I felt that his questions were good, and I did not feel rushed at all during my time with him. He prescribed a few meds, and I was on my way. They confirmed which pharmacy I preferred, and I opted for CVS located across the street. I was encouraged to return to the clinic and/or follow up with my PCP if symptoms did not improve. This is the 2nd time we have been misdiagnosed, sent to the hospital bc of their misdiagnosis, and incurred unnecessary hospital bills due to their misdiagnosis. When you come here, the doctors there are always giving you generalized googled responses. For instance, if you come In with stomach pains... They'll prescribe you antibiotics not bc they know u need it, but bc they just want to cover all basis. And they'll say, if u don't get feel better in a couple days... try the antibiotics. That's the kind of shit they do. Not only did they misdiagnose my daughter, but fear mongered us to go to CHOC hospital where we wasted 4 additional hours sitting in the hallway the entire time. Only to find out that Hoag was wrong. All in all, I'm glad my daughter doesn't have the condition they stated she had but that CHOC visit still cost me over $2k out of pocket! When I call them to get some help with our bill due to their error... they state "nothing we could do." So you use people's kids and scare them into going to the hospital bc you can't provide the care that's needed? Bc you're unsure about the care you're providing and need a bigger and more experienced facility to provide the care? 2x this place has done this to my family. I paid $225 for the visit and was prescribed Polymyxin eye drops. After using them for two days, my condition did not improve at all. I later saw my primary care physician, who told me that the medication prescribed at the urgent care was not the appropriate treatment for my condition and changed my prescription. I was disappointed that my evaluation and treatment did not resolve the problem. If you have a serious eye condition, I recommend seeing a qualified physician or an ophthalmologist rather than relying on an urgent care clinic. In my case, getting a second opinion made all the difference. This review reflects my personal experience.

I went in today with a badly bruised toe, and was unsure it it was perhaps broken or sprained. I…read moream presently only able to hobble in and wished to have X-rays taken. Incidentally, I had just come from another local urgent care, where i waited 30+ minutes, only to find out they didn't have an X-ray machine. The care at AFC appeared to be top notch. They took me quickly, took x-rays of the toe (fortunately no fractures!), and recommended a plan of treatment. Everyone in the office, from the fellow who checked me in, to the tech that took the X-rays (forget his name) to Caroline, the Physician Assistant, who looked at my toe, reported the results of treament and prescribed a course of treatment, were all so nice and professional. They were able to answer all my questions and address my concerns. Hopefully, I have no more future mishaps, but if I do, I'll know where to go. AFC Urgent Care Tustin! Turn right INTO the first driveway you see which has a banner that says "HURTT FAMILY HEALTH CLINIC ------". Pull into that driveway and park, go up to the gate and press the button and someone will buzz you in. Walk straight ahead, towards the middle go all the way down the hallway and make a right and you are there. Michelle and Martha the medical assistants are always helpful and polite. The office has a lot of chairs and it's nice and clean. There's also a padded play section in the corner with some books, toys and things for the little littles. Rafael the RDH (registered dental hygienist) does such and amazing job at deep cleanings and perio-maintenance. He is super thorough and explaines everything he is doing and lets you know what else has to be done to maintain a healthy smile. Rocio my dental technician was super nice she took my blood pressure (which is always higher than normal when I have appts anywhere especially at the dentist office.) I was getting fitted for some implants and she needed to do some initial impressions (molds) which she did a great job at letting me know which impression would work or not. She was very gentle and let me know exactly what she was going to do before it happened. She made me feel less anxious through the whole process. And they give you orange stuff on a little pad thing to clean off the excess plaster off yourself. In my case i used it to clean off the area around my mouth but hahahahahah that stuff was allllllllll over my face! YIKES!!!! I have to go back for some more fittings and things but so far so good.

I came early Monday morning around 9:30am so there wasn't a lot of other patients yet, and I was helped quickly. 5 mins in, I got called in by the nurse who took my vitals and conducted an EKG test on me. She was very friendly. Then she left me in the room to wait for the doctor. Took about 10 mins. The doctor was also very friendly and really took his time with me, didn't rush at all, explained things in detail and answered any questions I had. I felt like he really cared. He then sent me to get a blood test done and the tech I got was also so nice and gentle. Hardly hurt at all! Very kind staff, excellent service and that's coming from someone that used to go to Kaiser. I say they are equally as great here! And total cost was only $40!
