I'm usually not one for chains, but Distill surprised me. A friend from out of town was visiting for the day, and we wanted to catch up over a couple of games of pool before heading to the Las Vegas Ballpark for the Aviators game that night. The entrance is guarded by big, heavy doors (especially noticeable if there's any wind), and once inside it's cool, dark, and very spacious. They have a couple of pay-as-you-go pool tables, plenty of TVs showing various sports, plus bar seating and regular tables that were readily available. We arrived in the late afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. We claimed one of the pool tables and a server greeted us before long. They offer a solid selection of beers on tap along with the usual cocktails. We ended up coming back later that night after meeting up with more friends for a cover-band concert at Red Rock. This time it was around 10-11 PM, and the vibe was the same--very relaxed, still not too crowded, and service remained prompt. For late-night food we ordered the nachos, which were excellent and shouldn't be missed. They even make the chips fresh in-house. Definitely a great local find if you live in the area in or around DTSL. read more

I ordered takeout from Distill for myself and my family, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from the start. When I arrived, I was immediately assumed to be a food delivery driver. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with that line of work, but it was an incorrect assumption. I'm a corporate executive, and nothing about my appearance or how I presented myself warranted that kind of profiling. When I corrected her, it was clear she realized the assumption backfired, but there was no acknowledgment or apology, which made the interaction feel even more uncomfortable. Once I got the food home, things didn't improve. The club sandwich was overloaded with mayo to the point it was unpleasant, and the vegetables were wilted and clearly not fresh. The chili was especially disappointing honestly inedible. It tasted like canned chili with extra seasoning added in an attempt to make it seem more authentic and spicy, but it completely missed the mark. Someone else had the Caesar salad with chicken and described it as "fine," but that was the only neutral note in an otherwise poor experience. Overall, this was my first visit and will definitely be my last. read more

This was our first time coming and wow! Gained 2 customers! You walk in and it is so clean and the lighting is perfect. The outside patio seating is really cool and they even have fireplaces. Their micheladas are amazing, and Victoria took great care of us. She has a great attitude, checks in often, and makes sure you have everything you need. The biscuits and gravy are a must-try. The biscuits are buttery, crispy, and you get a generous portion (three biscuits, halved). Plenty of gravy, and you can even ask for extra. My husband ordered the country fried steak and he was impressed. The portion is huge, you can add extra eggs, and he even said it's better than Cracker Barrel's... which is saying something. I ordered the sweet & spicy chicken sliders and they were so good. The spicy honey on top, plus the slaw balanced everything out perfectly. I upgraded my side salad to a Caesar, totally worth it. I decided on tots and got them animal style... they were bigger and better than expected. Overall, delicious food, great service, and definitely worth coming back. Highly recommend! read more

Worst food I've had in a while. Everything had a sour taste to it. Flavors not balanced at all. As someone who loves garlic, some items do not need raw garlic in it. It's like someone just discovered garlic and wants to put it in everything. Good spot to keep vampires away. read more

Distill looked promising from the outside, but inside it felt a little dated. Luckily, it was a perfect day and the open patio doors gave the place a breezy, inviting feel. The bar is impressive in size, and had an open two level setup with patio seating. Unfortunately, it was completely undermined by being badly understaffed. We sat ourselves near the bar and watched as a group that arrived after us got served first. Just as we were about to leave, our server finally appeared. To her credit, she was a rockstar, but there was no way she could reasonably keep up with the number of patrons. The food was carelessly plated but still tasted good. The drink menu had solid options, though waiting an additional ten minutes for a beer tested my patience. Video poker appeared to line all the bar seats, but the bar was packed so I did not get a closer look. Overall, this visit fell short in too many areas. Admittedly my first time here was tragically, tragically awful. I did decide, however to give this place a second, third, fourth, fifth chance and I am glad I did. I do love the outside area with the Moroccan lanterns and chimeras and the little cloisters of seating areas. After about 15 minutes of watching the bartender hanging out with someone at the bar, we got up and walked out. Nile is extremely efficient for being the only bartender on the floor at 215 am. I came in for coffee and breakfast before work and even with a full bar managed to get to me almost immediately. He acknowledged my presence which is uncommon in food service these days for some reason. I ordered the moco loco which was very good. Could've used some more gravy on it but other than that it was made to order. Outdoor patio environment is the way to go early in the morning. read more

My friend & I came in here on 02/09/2024 to meet our married friends. We were hungry & wanted a couple of drinks. It didn't take long to get seated. It wasn't very busy for a Friday night, we arrived probably around 9pm or so. Our waitress, Christi started out great but then went down hill. She wasn't completely knowledgable about some of the items on the menu & had to go find out, she was nice & friendly though. We sat @ a high top table. Chairs weren't all that comfy. I had ordered Truly to drink & Christi didn't know what flavors they had so I gave her a couple of choices that I would drink when she had to go & find out what they had. My friend got a Mango Cart beer & I tasted it and it was very tasty. I don't drink beer much these days. I got the chicken fingers that were tasty & replaced the fries with onion rings for an extra $1.00 substitution charge. They weren't good @ all. They didn't taste homemade & just were blah. I started off with a cup of chili that was good but the best part was their cornbread patties. OMG to die for!! I had asked Christi if I could order some to go & she had to go and ask someone this. Luckily I was able to and two come in one order so I got two orders that cost me $4.00 total for 4 pieces. We sat for a long time with our dirty plates in front of us after we were done eating. I actually put some of our dirty dishes on the clean table next to us, which I hated to do but I was sick of them being in front of me & in my way. This is were the service went down hill. Like I mentioned Christi started off great, we hadn't waited long for her to come greet us but after we got out food it was like she went home or something? And of course the longer we were here the less busy it was, so its not like there was a bunch of customers in here that she may have been waiting on a table(s) not in view of us. We had no idea what happened to her. Then when we wanted to get our bills we had to wait even longer for them. We were a little bummed how the service started out so great but then went to poop. This won't prevent me from coming back to give this place another try especially so I can get some more cornbread....yum!! The ladies bathroom was freezing cold when my friend & I went to use it. OMG it was like they had the AC on high blast in there and the night we were there it had been raining outside so it wasn't like it was a hot night. My husband and I love coming here. We've had the pleasure of being in Anna's section outside. She's the best! We've had her twice. The first time she was super friendly, asked us appropriate, personal questions that way we could all talk and have fun other, she was super attentive, and she never let my water go empty--without me asking for more (that's a big deal for me when I go out). This second time, last night, we met up with friends and she was serving our section again. I was super happy and she seemed happy to see me too! She remembered our convo about Love Island (shoutout to Hannah Banana!). I was feeling nauseous and she brought me ginger ale because she figured that would help. It's the thoughtfulness for me. It's the sweet girl for me! Anyway, love her vibes. She takes care of us by cultivating a fun environment and good time. Went here last night after a run. They weren't busy, my husband for the quesadilla and really enjoyed it. We did have pretty slow service from our server... it seemed that high noon seltzers in cans would take forever to get to the table (as opposed to a draft beer!). Our server wasnt very attentive; we kept having to flag her down. The food is food though and they have some pool tables in the back which is nice. read more

Well my wife and I wanted to celebrate St. Patrick's day. First our server, Josie, was friendly and very helpful. She anticipated and we wanted for nothing . We had the corn beef and cabbage special. The dinner came out quickly and nice and warm. First the small potatoes were filled with flavor and needed nothing on them. My cabbage was steaming hot and I add very little salt. Then I tasted the corn beef. First you could cut it with a butter knife. The meat was so delicious and needed nothing on it. This meal was extremely delicious and you should have tried it. Was not a great experience as I work in the industry myself as a bartender & server so I see both sides... walked in the bar was full it was football Monday. My wife found a machine but since it was busy I sat in the chairs behind her. I got a drink from the bar since my Wife was already sitting there, but while sitting in the chairs I was asked if I needed a drink or wanted a menu. I declined as we were waiting for friends. About 6:30p lastnight I got us a table & 3 servers passed me didn't say a word even though my Shirley temple glass was empty. 6:45p comes around still haven't been talked to but been passed 5 or 6 times more since sitting at the tables. Our friends arrived at 7:00pm it was just 4 of us we sat at the tables waiting for my wife to leave the bar area and again 7:15 rolls by and nobody still has taken the time to talk to me/or us. I had to get another Shirley from the bar before my Wife cashed out which is crazy... as the restaurant party itself wasn't busy and other tables were being tended to. 7:30pm now and finally a girl brings 1 menu for us to look at, then 10 mins later a girl with glasses comes over asks us about beer & we order 3 beers in total and a new Shirley temple. Then she circles around we order food. Granted no waters were brought or offered but our extra plates and silverware were brought. Then our food starts coming & we still haven't even received our first beers. 3/4 of us ordered food and all had our food, we took our first bite & then our first round of beers showed up and mind you 2 bartenders & the bar was no longer crazy. We continued to eat but weren't checked on again. We finish our waitress grabs some but not all of our empty plates but does not ask about fresh beers or drinks even though 2/3 beers were clearly empty 1 had 1 sip and my Shirley was gone. We waited so long with empty drinks I got up and went to the bar then magically our server appears just to let us know we can't open a tab up with the bar. Like at this point is this a joke you don't come around to offer drinks but can appear to tell us we can't order from the bar even though our drinks have been empty... I offered us another round but we could tell she was frustrated with us like it's our fault??? Then we get our bill & while the bill itself wasn't bad the service itself we will never be back, so disappointed as this was our first time. read more

We visited the bar on the night of 6/29 at around 2:30 AM and were immediately met with hostility from the bartender. Instead of providing service, he chose to mock us openly in front of other patrons--who appeared to be his friends--creating an unwelcoming and uncomfortable environment. Our group initially arrived as a party of four and was soon joined by friends, totaling ten people, all of whom were ordering both food and drinks. As each person arrived, they independently asked if anyone else had experienced the same rude behavior from the bartender, which clearly indicates a consistent issue. Most concerning was his treatment of our 21-year-old sister. Watching a grown man attempt to publicly humiliate her in front of others was disturbing and unacceptable. All of us work in the service industry--bartending and food service -- we will be sharing our experience with others in the community and will not be recommending this establishment to anyone read more

I'm not going to give this location any more business. Their customer service is horrible. On multiple occasions I've come to pick up orders and I'm never greeted by waitresses or bartender. I have to go out of my way to get their attention. Then I get attitude and rudeness from the waitress today.
