We love Lou's Diner. Hadn't been there since we moved to our new house 4 years ago. As we expected, super busy for breakfast on this first day memorial day weekend. It's a very popular place with great food and wonderful people. The place was loud with Conversations but I was able to hear the good music they play. Meatloaf was playing, Nazareth, good Ole rock N roll. Our food was spectacular just as I K ew it would be. Amy was are super sweet waitress. What a gem, that lady. I could go on about lou's but if you've ever wanted to have a homemade meal at a diner, you gotta go to Lou's on Decatur in Las Vegas. Thank you for another great meal

Was visiting Vegas from Los Angeles for my birthday weekend and really wanted a down home diner for one of the mornings. I have known of Lou's Diner for quite some time because it has been open since 1969 and is quite famous in Vegas. As you would guess it's mostly known for breakfast and lunch and they have a huge menu filled with all sorts of American diner classics. There is also a large free parking lot attached in front and we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a Saturday breakfast for a party of two. Inside is quite large and they have many different types of seating options from booths to tables. Our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. When you sit down, they bring over some complementary crackers and homemade jam and the jam was some of the best that I've had a very long time. I especially liked the raspberry and strawberry. For my breakfast, I chose the Chili Cheese Omelette and added chorizo and avocado and absolutely loved it. It had great flavors and everything about it was just perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in Vegas for a great casual breakfast option.

All I have to say is wow...the staff are friendly. The food is awesome (Country Flavor) and overall experience had us going back two times. This is a popular place so expect a small wait. But well worth it for us. Oh and the homemade jams, salsa and preserves were so good we purchased a few jars to take home.

Stumbled on this place on our last Vegas trip and WOW! Ordered the chicken fried steak and it was amazing! Perfectly seasoned and the gravy was delicious. Homemade jams were delivered before we ordered. The misses ordered ham steak and eggs, also great. This is now our go to place for eats when we visit Vegas.

So many good places to eat when visiting Vegas. But thanks to a few hints, we were able to find out where the locals go to have breakfast - I am sure a few tourist as well. Lou's Diner is the place. We had a 30-40 min wait, but it went by fast and don't worry it was worth it. The home made Jams are sublime. I had the flat iron steak and eggs special. Super good. Wifey had the pancakes and was not disappointed. Although super busy that morning the staff made sure we were welcomed and taken care of and the environment is so homey and feels like family dinner. Great service culture. Definitely will be our Breakfast spot when we visit the area.

Stepping into this café feels like taking a warm trip back in time. The old-school charm is everywhere, from the vintage décor and cozy seating to the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee that greets you at the door. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the moment. This is a must stop before leaving where it may be. Don't forget to order a cinnamon roll because they may sell out, and they will. Can't forget about warm great service.

Bit of a wait, 1:00 on a Friday The sample plates of jam and crackers are nice. We had Ordered Meatloaf and chicken Fried Steak both with mashed potatoes. CFS was a little overcooked but enough gravy fixed that. Potatoes were delicious. Ordered warm apple Berry pie for dessert. With ice cream ENOUGH SAID!! Yum Great service, quaint diner!

Plenty of seating, and the service is right up there with any five-star restaurant

Okay, I love me some good down-home cooking, and especially when it's presented in a family friendly atmosphere. This place made me feel like I was home in the hometown. I grew up in 30 years ago. What a great place Tucked away and a little shopping center, this place is located towards the back but you'll have no problem finding it as a signage is very clear and distinct. Walking in you really get that feeling of being back home in the local Town. Diner. Everyone is super friendly, and the place just has that total warm country vibe to it. As most of you know from reading my Yelp reviews, I'm really big on customer service. Having been a waiter, I know what it takes to make people feel at home. This place has that in spades. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and treated like you are family. That makes all the difference in the world when there are so many great eating choices in the area. As soon as we were seated someone came up and asked us if we needed coffee and water. Not only that, our waitress brought us out a little appetizer, plate of crackers and their homemade jam. What a great way to show off the jams and jellies they have. It worked, I bought two jars to bring home! Do not sleep on these because they are so worth it. I had the chicken fried steak, and my girlfriend had the pigs in a blanket. Very good portion sizes and this was one of the thickest chicken fried steaks I have ever had. It had the perfect amount of Crest on it, and the gravy was off. The chart. Came the toast and home fries, and they were all delicious and perfectly seasoned. The pigs in a blanket were amazing, and the sausage is inside. Had just the slightest bit of kick to it so it was a pleasant surprise when you bit into it One thing we got to witness was this girl who was obviously new being trained by your manager. We got to listen in and see instructed her in how to do things, and watch her live those out in real time. It gives me hope for the future when I see restaurant management taking the time to really teach people how to be with customers and how to create that amazing experience. And this is one place we will definitely be going back to. If you are looking for a HomeTown diner vibe, you could do no better in the Las Vegas area, then Lulu's diner. They have outside seating, and their table turnover is pretty quick, so if there's a line don't freak out, because you will be seated relatively quickly. I highly recommend this place and you would be doing yourself a disservice to not visit it.

How have i waited 12 years to try this spot. Hands down, best breakfast spot ive ever had in Vegas. The 60s ambiance was amazing and reminded me of a mid west diner. The Everly Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin are just some of the toons playing while you eat. Even the bathrooms are a riot. So many cute and funny signs hanging up. The food. Good lord the food. They have a secret menu I highly advice you to look at. Scan the UR code at your table. Its hidden on the caddy display. Its worth looking at. I got the pastrami Ruben omelet from that menu. I didnt know i was missing something in life until I tried this omlete. This meal was insanely good. Packed full of pastrami, Swiss and sourkrout. It changed my life lolol also life changing.. the homemade Jams they give you.( And also sell in to go glass jars.) They have no preservatives in them and are a trip to flavor town. I used them on my grits. Straight amazing. The fried pickles set the bar high. They use THICK pickle slices not some skinny little pickle that withers away when fried. The batter they use on these pickle chips is tasty and light. Being able to bite into a pickle chip and actually have a juicey pickle slice inside put me in a food awe. Highly recommend you try this. Strawberry frech toast made me question if I ever really had French toast before. Nothing compares to this one. Try it all. You wont be upset. Antonio was our server and he was absolutely amazing, funny, knowledgeable about the menu. He went above and beyond to make our meal one to remember.

This place is very cute & had a cozy feel. I loved all the decor in the dinning area and the restroom also .The place was packed when we got there but the wait was not too long. We got our table after 20minutes. Our drink & food order took a couple of minutes. I ordered the turkey club sandwich with fries and it was so tasty. They were not stingy with the bacon at all & the fries were also fresh. Their ranch was also very good! Will definitely come back here next time we visit Vegas.

Lou's Diner is one of those classic Vegas spots that just gets it right. The vibe is cozy and nostalgic, the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable whether you're grabbing a quick breakfast or sitting down for a relaxed meal. The food is solid, comforting, and generous. Nothing overcomplicated, just well made diner classics that actually hit the spot. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which always makes the experience better. Portions were filling, prices felt fair for Vegas, and everything came out hot and fresh. It's not trying to be trendy or flashy, and honestly that's part of the charm. If you're craving a dependable diner with good food, good energy, and no fuss, Lou's is a great choice. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend to anyone looking for a classic breakfast or lunch in Las Vegas.

We decided to give Lou's Diner a try because of all the recommendations from locals. It was a weekday Wednesday morning and there was a short wait. There were no tables available at that time so we sat at the counter. I ordered steak and eggs with hashbrowns . They served us their variety of homemade jams before the meal came and they were excellent. The meal itself was good, but my steak was slightly overcooked . Eggs were prepared correctly over easy and the hashbrowns were crispy. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. This diner has a very nostalgic feel to it and lots of humorous, folksy, colorful wall, memorabilia, and art . It's a nice place for breakfast if you enjoy that classic nostalgic diner vibe, food and ambiance.

Took another old friend and Vietnam Vet (USMC) for breakfast and once more it was awesome. He loved the ambiance, the service and the overall experience of a real American diner. Breakfast was great. Will definitely be back again. Staff was excellent.

Can they serve Monte cristo sand which for breakfast? Also what kind of fries ? Thx

    I have never been there.

Would this be a good place for a family of 7 to eat breakfast on a budget ? We just moved over here

Yes! Just maybe make sure to call ahead and see if they have a table available that size so you won't have as much of a wait? It's a lovely very family friendly diner. Hope you enjoy!

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives. You can see them out for dinner with their piggy wives, Clutching forks and knives...to...eat...their...bacon." Beatles, 1968

Bacon Nation was a must-stop on our Vegas trip--everything was absolutely delicious. The portions…read morewere huge, so big that half our group couldn't even finish their meals. It was super filling and exactly what we needed to recharge. Service was a bit slow, and our bride-to-be didn't receive her food until several minutes after everyone else. We also waited quite a while for the check and were met with a little sass, which felt off. Overall, the food was great, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

Traveled from Austin, TX and Little Rock, AR with my cousin to experience Usher yesterday. Enjoying…read morenew places and discovering amazing vibes and delicious food is why I enjoy going to concerts out of town. My cousin found out about Therapy from TikTok and so I made reservations for today at 2:30pm in advance. We made sure to be on time matter of fact we arrived 30 mins in advance since we had to catch a cab and traffic seemed heavier today. Once we entered we were greeted immediately however we were taken upstairs 20 mins later from arrival (no big deal still before our reservations) but there were no available tables. I spied a table getting ready to leave on the first floor and asked if we could wait for it and the hostess happily agreed (thank you)!! Unlimited mimosa 10/10, music 10/10, our personal service 10/10 (she tried and I don't even think she was a server but was very friendly and accommodating) however customer service/wait times/morale 2/10 because I'm typing this right now and it's 3:39pm 11/16/24 and I just got my wings still waiting on my fries. Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!! So let me help you with your response...I'm NOT broke, I DON'T need anyone to sponsor or fund my activities when I'm on vacation...DO BETTER!!! However the lemon pepper wings and fries (second request first were cold) tasted delicious. Therapy has potential if the customer service from Chris was better and food arrived in a timely manner. Also witnessed multiple tables abandon their orders due to excessive wait time however ALL the staff is amazing!! Update: actually met Chris after our food came and he is a complete jerk in person too. Drugs are bad people! Save your money and eat elsewhere I will never support this establishment again.
