Finding this spot felt like discovering a hidden treasure. The tiki ambiance is top-tier, especially since they rotate the lighting colors to match the season or upcoming holidays. Even the menu is an experience--it's designed like an old-school map! While I didn't get to the massive drink they serve in a wooden chest this time, it's a total 'must-try' for my next visit. The standout, though, was the service. Our bartender was incredibly welcoming and genuinely passionate about the flavors in each cocktail. Even as the night wound down, he stayed for a great conversation and never made us feel like we had to rush our drinks. It's the perfect place for a high-quality, atmospheric night out.

Cool hidden speakeasy above Chic Mexican restaurant. Sexy with a vibe. Could be a great place to hangout after dinner if the music was better. The food is from the restaurant downstairs. The speakeasy only has drinks

This was SUCH A COOL speakeasy that a friend had told us about. Me, my wife, and two of our friends came during the holiday season. The decor inside was INSANE. There were Christmas decorations everywhere. It's almost like a Temple Run meets Christmas kind of vibe. They had Christmas cocktails as well as tiki themed cocktails too. Plenty of cool picture opps inside the bar. The speakeasy is inside the Agave Bandido restaurant. If you aren't sure where it is, the people at the front can help you. I would recommend making a reservation in advance just in case. We made one just to be safe. And while it wasn't too packed when we first got there, people started pouring in during the next hour. Definitely a cool place to check out for drinks when you've got a good group of people! I will definitely be back.

This was fun. Drinks were delicious. We came for happy hour and everything is simple. Lots of choices for $15 and they were all good and beautiful and tasty. It was dark inside so wish there was a little more light. Also wish there were a few more food options - you can only get a shrimp option. The speak easy is fun and when we walked out got lots if looks of people curious why we were coming from a book shelf.

An interesting place. I stopped by Maya for drinks with a colleague recently - we were on a hunt for new places in the area. I found that it was done up in a festive holiday vibe for the season. This is exactly the type of kitsch that I'm a complete sucker for. There are a handful of classic tiki drinks on the menu, along with a good number of speciality drinks unique to here. The Mai Tai passed my test (the litmus test drink of any good tiki bar in my personal opinion). I expect that we will be back at some point, pretty fun place

Cool little wxperience..went with some coworkers after an all day meeting. I made reservations for 8 for the speakeasy so that we could have a cocktail before we go downstairs for dinner. The cocktails were delicious..some with even a little presentation. Im a sucker for singed rosemary!!

Full bar- love it, ambiance is by the far the best thing - hands down!! Great music!! The drink menu is pretty cool just wish that food or appetizers was served here. But definitely would make this as a "stop let's get a drink" place before we go to dinner.

The speakeasy is inside a Mexican restaurant so if you're hungry, you can get food there and head up here afterwards for the best tiki drinks!

It was a Friday night, so it was pretty packed when we first got there. We put our names down, and then grabbed a drink at the bar. There was outdoor seating that was available, so we grabbed a seat. We were then notified that our table was ready. It wasn't even 20 minutes, so this was great. The host took us to two seats at the bar. SOS is such a cool island type of vibe. They have so many different tiki cocktails that you can choose from. They are mostly made of rum, but they have a few other ones that are made with different alcohols. Me and my wife both got our own drinks. Hers was a special Valentine's Day themed drink that was on the menu, and mine was one of the tequila/mezcal tiki drinks. Both tasted really good! The presentation was just as good too! You aren't limited to these though, it's a full bar, so you can get whatever you want. They also have a few food options, but very limited. Our bartender, Heather, was super nice as well. My wife had asked (when I went to the restroom) if they did anything for birthdays, since my birthday was a few days prior. She did this cool fire presentation and gave us two little slushie shots. Awesome bartender for sure! SOS is a great place to go for some really fun drinks. It's good for groups, but keep in mind that they do get quite busy on the weekends! I'll definitely be back.

All the drinks were very fun and taste great and range from smooth to STRONG. The attention to detail put into crafting the drinks is very admirable. I can guarantee your drink will look exactly like how it's depicted on the menu. If only I could remember the names of all the drinks I tried....oh well. What I do remember is that they set the Mai Tai's on fire so that's pretty cool. Service was also great. S/O Charlie! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. You're welcome!

The crab legs were good with a little kick and very smoky flavor which brought out a bit of sweetness. Inside is dimly lit with several tables, a large bar, and a furry staircase leading upstairs to another bar. Service was good and the drinks were strong. I ordered the Bayou Fog. The food was tasty but nothing special, more like a solid homemade sandwich with your favorite mayo. It's good and satisfying, just not unforgettable. I had the Seafood and Sausage Gumbo and a half Po' Boy called Bo Kho, and while both were enjoyable, they're items I could easily make at home. I'd go again if invited but probably wouldn't make a special trip. If you're curious, it's worth checking out for yourself. Parking is limited behind the restaurant, the lot across the street is for Mary Mac's, and street parking or the Park Mobile app may be your best option.

The bar isn't very big, maybe 10 stools in all? The place is very dark and dimly lit with tiki vibes. The bartender was very slow to greet us and give us drink and food menus. Ordered the original Mai Tai and it tasted awful, second drink was a TZ Swizzle much fruitier nicer and light. My colleague ordered the stir fry and it looked tasty. I ordered the edamame pot stickers with shishito peppers and falafel salad. The pot stickers came fried which I wish the menu would have specified but they were tasty and the shishito peppers in the yuzu sauce were delicious. The salad was brought to me without the falafel on top so I had to struggle to get the bartenders attention to let him know and waited some more to receive the four falafels on a separate plate. Once I began eating it I noticed the salad was also very dry, it's so dark I couldn't notice at first until I started to eat it. Then I requested more dressing. To be honest eating at the bar was probably not the best choice because the service was slow as he was slammed making drinks and the bar top had such a huge thick lip it was hard to eat over your plate, so much sauce dripped on to the bar edge because it was so far away from me.

The lobster ravioli was just okay not very flavorful but full of meat. The only issue here is that reservations are for parties of 4 and must be made day-of through Instagram. Tables are first come first served otherwise. So you take a chance of having a wait. I would likely return just to have a pretty place to chill and have a drink to break the monotony.
