On the outside, it looked like a typical Ross. Ross built inside a shopping center with connecting buildings. Same typical signage. When walking in, a cashier greeted us from afar. Faceless ventriloquy of a cheerfully voiced greeting. The vibe was safe and inviting. The shop layout was also typical Ross as well. Plain utilitarian no design concept. The quantity of inventory was better than the inventory of most Ross' in the Sacramento area. But not being a local, just don't know if I hit it on a restocking day or if it's the norm. If it is, that's awesome. Anyway, the Hubs didn't find a golf belt that was the right width he was looking for. I on the other hand, found quite a lot that caught my eye (houseware decor, kitchenware, and clothes). But I impressed myself with full on restraint.

And this simply held up the line, one poor shopper was visibly flustered, as she borderline interrogated him "All I need is your license and its 3 questions, you have a license right?". We stopped in to Walmart to pick up a lot of the basics. It was later in the evening and they were getting ready to close. The night crew had already started the re-stocking process. Even with that happening, there were a lot of gaps in the grocery aisles, especially in the refrigerator cases. We weren't able to get everything we needed, which meant another shopping trip the next day. It was just an okay experience overall. I did track down one of their employees to ask the location of several items that I hadn't been able to find, despite going back over the same aisles several time. The aisles didn't seem to be laid out with any particular logic. Checkout went reasonably well, so that was a plus. Somehow this particular location seemed sadder and less organized than others I've shopped at in the past. Possibly a "B" store.

It could have been an easy fix even one of the other mechanics said that he had no problem fixing it and that it deserves to be fixed so I was quite surprised on how they handled this so I called back corporate and fill them in on how they handled this they said they'll be checking the cameras plus I sent them the audio recording of him initially telling me about the mosquito repellent "HACK" it would have took them no longer than 10 minutes to fix the problem and now we have to go to the legal route. And if Walmart chooses to the side that how their employees behavior with justified only goes to show you what kind of company this actually is have they have no problem laughing along at people with mental health to disorders in tricking them into purchasing products that aren't needed or meant for this.
