We were in Paso for a family reunion get-together for a few days. We had decided to have some of the meals at our rental house; not go out for every meal. We stopped in to Walmart to pick up a lot of the basics. It was later in the evening and they were getting ready to close. The night crew had already started the re-stocking process. Even with that happening, there were a lot of gaps in the grocery aisles, especially in the refrigerator cases. We weren't able to get everything we needed, which meant another shopping trip the next day. It was just an okay experience overall. I did track down one of their employees to ask the location of several items that I hadn't been able to find, despite going back over the same aisles several time. The aisles didn't seem to be laid out with any particular logic. Checkout went reasonably well, so that was a plus. Somehow this particular location seemed sadder and less organized than others I've shopped at in the past. Possibly a "B" store. read more

I loathe going to Walmart and will attempt to avoid this retail box store at all costs. It's not that I don't want a good deal but they stock a lot of lower quality items. There are a few "staples" that come from Walmart purely because of price. But I am happy to drive 5 minutes further for a better shopping experience. The store and parking lot is always busy, neither making for a positive shopping experience. It's getting ridiculous these days that so much product is now under lock and key, which means looking for a sales associate to help get you the product you need. Some aisles seem very narrow to move through when the store is busy, which makes a quick stop difficult. Lines for the registers, all of which are never open, are pretty long, which sends me to self checkout. Again, waiting in line because over half the self checkout machines aren't in use. Apple Pay isn't accepted either. Just too much I don't want to deal with here. read more

I'm a annual free delivery subscriber. I had an order with a delivery order window of 11AM to 1PM. My doctor's appointment ran a half hour late, so I call the Walmart help line at 10:40AM and informed them I would arrive up to 10 minutes after 11:00. I arrived at my home at 11:02. Walmart had already started a return (before 11AM) of my order and said it couldn't be reversed. I was standing right by my order that they wouldn't let me have. read more

Employees sitting there laughing about not being able to find it then the manager tells me she thinks it got put into returns and got put back on the shelf and I can go look for it . Bought a "new" memory stick from Walmart mail order. It was clearly used not even in the package. Package and stick just thrown in a box separately, obviously used. Tried to return it but their web site would process the return. No I didn't wait it was the next after it was delivered. As much as I dislike Amazon, they never pull this stuff. read more

I love that they offer scan and go. Cuts down my shopping trip time. I scan, don't need to wait in line, go to the scan and go check stand, pay, then I'm off! No hassles! January 2023 I didn't notice when paying for a large order the cashier overcharged me $150.00 plus tax extra for an item that didn't exist She had punched in a code and it triggered $150.00 charge I can't back to store after getting home and checking my receipt and freaking out ! I went back and customer service called manager and after about 20 min my money was refunded They took copy of receipt to use for training staff My other comment is that the store needs AC Especially spring to fall near cash registers, it gets very hot and humid Store was remodeled again in 2022, and the fabric dept was gutted there's almost no fabrics left Due to limited shipping in our area I'll continue to shop here read more

Hmmmmmm for a Walmart this location is pretty nice. They had a lot of stock of the products I usually am last minute looking for. The parking lot is so so. The spaces are wide enough but can feel tight in a truck. The lanes are also one way. I'm not sure how I feel about that compared to the two way parking lanes. And the area feels kind of sketch. I wouldn't want to be walking around here at night but then again there are other Walmart locations where I feel much less safer in. I don't like how early this Walmart closes, hence a star docked for that. And a Walmart will never get a 5 star review from me because it's a grocery everything store and not luxury compared to other companies of its kind. read more

Come on! It's Walmart. It has lots of merchandise to choose from. The staff is usually friendly. The store is starting to feel a bit run down now though. But, they have a Burger King now! I usually find that the shelves are well stocked. On an occasion if you get there too early, not all the shelves get restocked right away. The pharmacy is always good. My little brother has special needs and can be a little much at times but that's how he is. An associate named Joe who seemed to be undercover because he had nothing showing that he was an employee until he pulled out his name tag from his pocket. He had saw my brother running down the aisle with a cart and considered that to be a warning in his mind, however when he saw him again hitting a pillow that's when he lost it and kicked him out. He did not give him a single warning nor did he talk to him about what he should and should not be doing in the store. I do understand that what my brother was wrong but for a random man to come up to him and tell him to leave was scary to him especially since he didn't have any showing that he was an employee. When I receive great service, I always try to stop in & give kudos more than poor service. Let me give the credit to Vanessa & Vereena for stellar assistance yesterday! I was looking at the marked down paint cans & couldn't figure out the color inside & Vereena happened to be on a ladder stocking. She got down & tried to help but didn't know the answer so went & asked another associate Johnnie, & asked if we could open a can to verify the color. Her response was an impatient sounding " we don't do that." & didn't sound as if she wanted to help. But Vereena continued to attempt to help & took me to the paint department where Vanessa promptly showed up & did open the can & offered to shake it in the machine & gave me a paint stirrer. I don't usually find anything in the clearance section, but this was a deal! Not sure if Johnnie wasn't interested in helping someone shopping in the clearance aisle (though I spend thousands a year at her store) so that was my minus one star- but I must say Vereena & Vanessa came through with flying colors to make up for it!! read more

AVOID RECEIVING TIRE SERVICE while this woman is working. She was extremely rude to me. This is like any Walmart that I have been to with the exception that there was not a lot of people riding on carts, mostly upright. I was looking for something and it was pretty obvious from the searching stare I was giving but passed by at least a half dozen employees who did not offer any assistance. Finally asked one who said they weren't sure and told me to look at the front of the store....thanks. I also love how people at Walmart can't find the cart return and they just leave their shopping carts where they want even though they could be five steps from the place they belong. Always a laugh there, I heard a comedian say that there will never be world peace as long as people can't put away their shopping carts. Update #1: They left the security device on my hard drive and asked me to go to customer service to get it off because the guy that opened a register was not a cashier. I haven't been in a Walmart Superstore in a loooong time. But apparently the selection has gone waaay down. I needed one thing. Shoes. My nerve pain on one foot from a pair of heels I wore a few weeks back really disliked the drive and I needed some super loose shoes to wear during our Hearst Castle tour. Picking up a pair of 6 dollar throwaways was the biggest positive to this trip beyond the sparkly hightops I nabbed. Because sparkles. The service was friendly, but again - the selection was much less than I was used to with Target. But the throwaways got the job done and Walmart had more of a selection for certain types of shoes than Payless did. The service was better too.
