It make a huge difference in the taste. Also, the price is reasonable only $10 for the pre made pizza, $10-$15 for build your own, and $2 extra for gluten free. I haven't tried the salads yet. Great food and great customer service! We got the BBQ chicken pizza which was very tasty! Crust has a homemade, full and bold flavor! We added beef bacon which gave a very smoky taste to the pizza! We also got the falafel bowl as an appetizer and it had a very fresh and homemade taste! Chef or owner recommended tatziki sauce for it which as he said goes very well with it! Very cool spot, awful food. I ordered a chicken and sandwich which wasn't any better than Wendy's and a steak and cheese sub. The fries were so cold they were hard. I got the Cajun and regular fries which were both inedible. The steak and cheese sub was absolutely disgusting, first of all the bread was toasted only on one side. The meat was chewy and dry, no spice, no flavor. Maybe I should of tried something else but for now I won't return. If you want to call this a steak and cheese sub at least get the recipe right. I'm always looking for a good new burger place, but this was far from it. From the start, it was a bad experience. It took about 5 minutes just for someone to come to the register to acknowledge us and take our order. The overall condition of the in house dinning was not so great. The tables were all dirty and had trash on them. We had to ask someone to wipe down the tables. The trash and the area where the food baskets were placed was also in poor condition. The trash was running over and the dishes were piled up with food in them. We also had to ask someone to sweep up the trash on the floor. One would think with all this going on that the place was busy, they weren't. We placed our order at 7:14PM but it took until 7:48PM to receive our entire order. The place looks fully staffed so it was also upsetting that it took so long for our order to be prepared. The food came out staggered and overall it was subpar. Well, this place did not impress me at all. I went during lunch and I never got my meal! Horrible customer service. After waiting about 30 min, I asked for my money back. I got my money back, but I do not recommend this place for lunch. Other people did not get their meals either and I figure they got their money back. I want to start off by saying customer service was okay, after every order the cashier would say would that be all for you, she would not let me finish ordering. It's located in downtown Dearborn which is really busy. I walked in the place is big and nice it was very modern I liked it. It was very nice to see how clean it was and they were very organized. I ordered what was most ordered which was the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and a lemon pepper chicken sandwich with a side of Cajun Fries. I was not too happy with the food, the burger buns were drenched in butter, they soaked that bun with so much butter on the grill it took the flavor from the chicken. The chicken was amazing, it was flavorful, juicy, spicy, and even the lemon pepper was on point. But the buns ruined the whole sandwich being drenched in that much butter to be toasted. The whole time I was tasting ghee instead of the actual flavors. The Nashville hot was actually hot, the slaw and the pickles paired it well. If the buns weren't drenched in butter I would've given these sandwiches 8 out of 10. I've had many great experiences at District 12, but today's experience was horrific. Upon entering the store, the staff member I was greeted by was not wearing a face mask. I nicely asked him to wear a mask, as it is a matter of his safety and my own safety, he stated "we don't need to". I asked him who told him this and he stated "they told us". I reminded him that doctors and nurses work 12 hr shifts and wear their masks the whole time, if they can do it, he can wear a mask during his short encounter with me. He rolled his eyes and put on a mask with hesitation. He then took my order. A few minutes later, as he packaged my order, he was no longer wearing a mask. When I exited the store, I noticed there was no signage reminding customers to wear a mask either. Truthfully this is blatant disregard for people, and it seems to be encouraged by the management at district 12, as they have no signage about wearing a mask. I am really disappointed by this experience, as I really enjoy the food here, but due to blatant disregard, I will no longer be coming back. read more

Such a cool little cafe/restaurant located in downtown Dearborn. Fast and friendly service. Restaurant was very well lit and modernly decorated. We chose to eat outside in a very comfortable area. Mike, one of the counter workers, brought out all of our dishes when they were ready. The lentil soup was amazing, very unique and not overpowering. The side salad was large. Very fresh greens and the house made balsamic had that sharp, tart flavor balsamic fans will certainly appreciate. Wood fired pizza did not disappoint, crust was exceptional. We also had a falafel wrap that was very good. My girlfriend eats falafel frequently, and said it was one of the best she has ever had. We will be going back soon, as I am looking forward to enjoying the Thai Salmon Salad and the meatballs. I'm sure they will be wonderful. I got a margarita pizza which was exactly what i wanted. It was a little sweet, but that's what i loved. My family got the burgers. The bread was very soft but it was not as delicious as they had hoped. For the price of the food, i was expecting a little more.
