We've been wanting to come here for some time and finally had the opportunity. We came during the week around brunch time, so it wasn't at all crowded. Parking was easy to find in the lot on the side of the building and we were able to easily figure out where the back door entrance was. Inside was so vibrant and I absolutely loved the Christmas decor! Once inside, an employee could tell we were first timers and gently guiding us to the tablets. That's where you order your food. The menu is very straight forward and user friendly. Once we ordered, we found a table to sit. Our food was brought to our table in no time! They even have a water station near the from door which I found convenient. The truffle rosemary hash browns were phenomenal,especially with the sauce! My bacon egg sandwich was way bigger than I expected and so delicious. I enjoyed every bite! Might I add there were no leftovers. If I'm in the area, I would definitely come back for another meal. When Egg Bar opened its doors awhile back I remember people talking about it. One of my friends would eat their regularly and I felt like I was missing out on something special. Weeks and months went by and I never really had a chance to go, but then an opportunity presented itself and so I stopped by. First impression was this place is beautiful. I didn't feel like I was in Michigan anymore, but rather somewhere in Miami's South Beach. So many bright colors, catchy '90s dance music, and a busy staff banging on all cylinders. They are known for their sandwiches, so I ordered one to go for my wife (which she enjoyed). I myself got a simple egg patty with some leafy greens and chicken sausage. I found the food to be delicious, but not for the price and the portion sizes they offered. I like the egg patty, however it's pretty clear to me that the bread that they use for a sandwich is what carries the whole thing. So if you get the sandwiches you'll probably be fine, but I'm still not sure that the hype with this place is deserved. read more

I've only been there once but I enjoyed my experience quite a bit! I really enjoyed my sandwich, I got to try the hash brown sticks (which were really good), and I tried some of my friend's sandwich as well which was also great. My only complaint is that everything is definitely overpriced almost to the point where I'm not very interested in coming back. It's all definitely something I could make at home for cheaper. $14-$19 for a sandwich the size of my hand feels like robbery. Their drinks are also overpriced in my opinion. I think it's fun to try one time, but I would still go your local small bagel sandwich shops or local diners! read more

Went for first tine, it has quick self order kiosks, first timer gets 5 dollar off which i did not take as I was lazy to download their app and become a member. Downtown Dearborn has some of the newest and trendiest restaurants in metro Detroit, including Egg Bar. I got the Steak N'Eggs sandwich. The sandwich is tasty but expensive. The Japanese Shokupon bread is soft and fluffy, and it is packed with cheese, egg, meat, and vegetables. At least the portion size of the sandwich is large, so it was enough for me to have two meals. My favorite on the menu is the Truffle Rosemary Hash Sticks. The website recommends the caramelized onion dip with the hash sticks, but I recommend subbing that with the chili crisp mayo if you like a little spice. I also like that the restaurant has packets of Tabasco sauce to take. read more

Wow this place exceeded expectations. I split the Hot honey sausage sandwich with my sister and it was plenty of food for the both of us. Not only was the portion huge but it was DELICIOUS! The egg was silky and the bread was so soft and made to where the sandwich didn't fall apart while eating it despite having so many elements on the inside. I was a little concerned there would be too many flavors for this sandwich but it was well balanced. The restaurant itself boasts bold fun colors and felt like a party on a Monday morning to get your week started right. A beautiful awesome day amazing people of the world. Today were on a brunch sesh and we're trying out Eggbar in Dearborn, Michigan. I heard this spot slings the hardest brefix sandwiches in the block. So let's get this food sesh started shall we. First up on the table is the Sausage and Egg, always something I order whenever there's breakfast sandwiches involved. The Sausage seems to be a chicken Sausage. That's about my only critique, the egg, bread andthe condiments do go well with each other. 6.7 out of 10 Next we have the Mushroom Swiss. Hubby did add bacon to it. I believe the bacon came from an animal with feathers, not hooves. Just like the other sandwich, condiments, egg and bread were a match made in heaven. 7.2/10 Don't forget to snag some hashbrown sticks. Both the OG and the Truffle Rosemary are fire. Prolly the strongest food that hit our table. Perfect texture, crispy and delicate. My mouth is loving all that yumminess no cap. 8.3/10 The place is nice and tidy. Ordering was a breeze and the staff were very friendly. I adore places that take good care of their clientele. We finally got the chance to try Eggbar, today and man, I'm so mad it took this long... It was soooo good! We were greeted immediately and lead over to the order screens where we were given recommendations, an explanation of the ingredients, and were shown how the screen works, and then we were left alone to make our selections. We placed our order, grabbed a freshly cleaned table, and looked around the place while we waited. The atmosphere is modern with loud music and vibrant decor that my husband referred to as "Yo, MTV breakfast!" The dining area is clean, like constantly, like one staffer is dedicated for cleaning between guests and I spotted not a single crumb or smudge anywhere. They have an open kitchen which allows patrons to observe their efficient brigade style kitchen service, so if you're a fan of cooking shows, you'll probably enjoy that feature. It was very busy. There was a constant stream of people coming in and out to dine-in or pick up their orders. Even so, we did not wait long at all, at least not long enough to wonder how long we waited. Everything moved quickly, but we never had the sense of feeling rushed. The food was fantastic. The Rosemary hash brown sticks were the all-stars and the onion dip that came with them made them shine even brighter. The sandwiches are made with soft, toasted, Japanese style milk bread and light, steamed souffle style egg that is just lovely. We did prefer the sandwich with meat over the classic as the turkey bacon offered a better contrast to the softer texture of the egg and bread. The sandwiches are a decent size and on our next visit, we will likely split a sandwich and get our own orders of hash brown sticks. For drinks, I got the black sugar cinnamon cold brew which was delicious and just the right level of sweet and my husband got a regular coffee and was directed to the self service coffee station up front which was well stocked and sparkling clean. My only critique is more of a tip for patrons: If you sit near the doors (front or back) in the winter, just know there is no vestibule and every time a door opens you'll get blasted with cold air. I have seen this place a couple of times but never went in, Well the Wife and I finally made the commitment.... And went in. This place is really cool looking, from the patio seating to the digital menu, the inside seating area is a little small but the outside patio is nicely decorated. Everything you order is on a digital screen inside the restaurant and then they bring it out to you. The staff here was very helpful and walked us through the menu and helped us how to even order off of the menu. I decided to order a Steak N Eggs Sandwich with the O.G. Hash browns and a Salted Caramel Cold brew. The sandwich was amazing, the meat was tender and the egg was fluffy and the bread was toasted. This sandwich was PHENOMENAL, the bread tasted like it was toasted with melted butter in the actual bread. The hash browns were really good and whatever flavoring it came with was great. The cold brews are amazing they taste so good and refreshing. This place is a little pricey but you pay for what you get which is deliciousness. I'm an "Egg Slut" slut and have always loved a good eggy brekky sando. There are a few good joints in Metro Detroit for this, but not nearly enough, and not nearly as tasty. Though they clearly spent a good amount of their budget on the imaging and advertising portion of the business, all a bit extra for me, the food stands just fine on its own. So first, the Bacon Dlux. I loved the fluffy steamed egg and toasted Japanese milk bread. The turkey bacon could've been crispier, but that's a typical turkey bacon problem. The burnt onion jam, was a bit too thick and decadent for the sandwich, throwing off its balance. I adore fresh chives, of which it had a generous heaping of. Overall, a pretty damn tasty brekky wich! The truffle rosemary hash sticks were nicely done, flavorful, and extremely crunchy. Should've tried another sauce tho, as it came with the burnt onion jam. As far as the experience, top-notch. Customer service was friendly and welcoming, staff even reminded me that when you download their app you can save $5 off the first order. My friend was in from California and we were looking for a new place to try in my area. Egg Bar is pretty close to my house so we decided to give it a try as we drove around looking for a lunch spot. We both got sandwiches and hash browns. I got the Mushroom Swiss and he got the Bacon DLUX one I believe. I asked for the chipotle mayo to dip my hash browns in and he got the recommended French onion dip for his. They accidentally gave us two French onion so I asked at the counter and they gave me the chipotle one. The manager? or person in charge overheard and wanted to make sure everything was made right (which it was). He came over a bit later and offered us the chili crisp mayo to try also. We did try all three dips and we preferred the French onion the most. All three were good, but the chili crisp one was surprisingly the least flavorful. I'd eat them all again though. haha The sandwiches were filling and delicious. They are a bit challenging to eat because they are pretty big haha I also got the raspberry lime refresher which was very good. My friend got coffee which he was shown was a help yourself station style setup. Everything we had was hot, fresh, and delicious. The prices add up, honestly, but overall it was a good value. First time coming here, and I was impressed. Upon entering we were immediately helped by staff asking if we had been there before, followed by them showing us how to order on their kiosks. I got a baseline sandwich and a dark chocolate cold brew coffee. Although the egg itself doesn't have much flavor because they are steam baked, the signature sauce and onion make up for it. I'm not a huge fan of cold brew coffee, but this one was so incredibly good. I'd return just to try another flavor of the cold brew! The sandwiches are a bit pricey but they're way bigger than I initially expected. Egg Bar has been all over my social media so my family and I made the trip to Dearborn to try it out on a Sunday after church. The place was overfilling with customers and packed to the very last table. It is a self-ordering system through screens on the wall and they call out your name/number when your order is ready. We ordered their take on a "pink drink" and a berry refresher which were both really delicious. Because of the newness of the restaurant and the hype it has on social media; it was super busy and took a little over an hour for us to receive our food from the time we ordered it.
