I have been taking my car to DC Line Auto for regular maintenance since 2008 and they always go beyond my expectation. At one point John actually gave my vehicle a bit of a clean up because he said it was so dusty. They found the problem with my Volvo in 2008 after 2 try-outs with 2 different repair shops and since then I have not gone to any repair shop. They are trustworthy and honest telling me what the problem with my car is, not the thing that I actually want to hear. The price is reasonable and they treat every one the same way, just like a family member. They are accommodating without sacrificing neither the service nor any customer. It's a 1st come, first serve basis service. However, when I had a serious issue with my car, Ray called John (Gen. Mngr) who assigned one of their least busy employees to attend to me. I always get a personal type of service from them. They have not taken advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars. Thanks for your services guys, really appreciate it! District Line is an extraordinary auto repair shop with excellent service. I'd been told repeatedly that my aging 2003 Hyundai Elantra wasn't worth repairing. I first used this shop when I got into my first car accident. Ray was very concerned for my safety so he even fixed my mirror that was dangling from the car. I told him I was a student and I need my car to get back forth to school so he worked with me and told me what needed to be fixed right away and what I could come back and fix later. They also fixed an issue with the car failing emissions, and handled taking it back through for me and getting it to pass. I have always found District Line to be fair, straight forward, and honest. Ray and John worked with me patiently to come up with a repair plan I could afford, helping me prioritize which repairs were most important and which could wait. And, my personal favorite aspect of working with Ray is that he didn't talk down to me. I've had many mechanics be dismissive or unwilling to explain, or even get offended at me asking questions. That has never happened to me dealing with Ray. He speaks to me respectfully and recognizes my cognitive capability. I have been a faithful customer of DC Auto Line since I bought my first car in 1997. My mother had been getting her car services there and recommended I do the same. It was the best decision I could have made. Over the years I have owned and serviced a Nissan, Ford/Mercury, Lexus and two Acura's and have not had to I worry about my car service since that time and never experienced any of the horror stories that come along with car maintenance. I went to District Line Auto to have them inspect the car after the dealership found a problem. District line looked at the car and said that the problem was actually something else which made it appear like the first problem the dealership quoted. I really appreciated the mechanic's honesty with me which ultimately saved me money. They were able to do the repairs the same day for a very fair price. They called me within the quoted time period to say they were almost finished working on my vehicle and I can start heading over to pick it up. Being a female, I felt that they treated me like their family member as opposed to just another customer. I have returned since my initial visit and they recognized me and greeted me with a smile. DC Line is a wonderful find. Wish I'd found it much sooner. Ray explains clearly what is wrong. He even shows you the faulty part and tells you how it fits into your car's systems. His knowledge gives confidence about what he's about to do. He works hard to fix the problem without using more expensive parts than necessary. The car is always ready quickly, and repairs are done at a reasonable price. I have never had a problem with a repair that was not done correctly.
