This was my first time dining here. The customer service here is great! The food was fresh and tasty. They have a coco cola fountain. So you can make your drink your way. The establishment is clean along with the restrooms. This a good place to enjoy fresh food! If you're ever in the area...GET SOME!!!!

District Taco is a good choice if you're looking for fast, customizable tacos, burritos, bowls, or quesadillas. All the ordering was done on touchscreens, our order was ready quickly, and they had a lot of seating. I got a bowl with pollo asado and lots of vegetable toppings (you can pick 9), and it was good, about what I expected from visiting other District Taco locations before. I also tried some of my kid's mini bacon quesadilla (nice that they have a kids' meal option), and that came with a bag of chips that was large enough for us all to share. While the food was good, I really appreciate this location most for being open their regular hours on Easter Sunday when many other places in the area were already closed, and for letting us dine there shortly before closing. We had arrived in Arlington far later than we anticipated that night, and we were very grateful for a place to take a break and have a good meal instead of the granola bars in our bag.

If you've taken the time to read my reviews, you will notice that I am a stickler for high quality customer service. With that being said, I have to give a major shout out to Eric B. (Customer Success Manager) at District Taco. He's always a pleasure to work with. I had to place a catering order and he quickly sent over a quote for my needs. I needed to make some changes to the quote, and he made it easy for me to do so. Unfortunately, I can't remember the two ladies who came to set everything up but they were very friendly and efficient. It felt like they were in and out on all of 5 minutes. Without a doubt District Taco will be on my list for future catering needs.

Tasty and substantial tacos. You may find you have 1 of the 3 tacos for later. Consider sharing if you're with someone and add some chips and guacamole.

Very mixed bag first experience. I ordered a quesadilla carne asada and the papas gordas (loaded fries). The quesadilla was a 1 star and the papas gordas a 5, so we'll meet in the middle? The main issue w the quesadilla was the tortilla. It was more of a crepe texture/consistency. So instead of being a nice crispy pocket for the cheese and goodies, it just ended up being a soggy falling apart mess. The guacamole on the side was also old and already discolored to a light shade of brown. The fires on the other hand were the bomb. Soft fries, loaded up w a ton of toppings. The meat was great. Generous portion. Really hit that "brunch so hard from my couch because I'm scared of catching the plague and dying" spot.

Decided it had been too long since I went to District Taco while visiting the east coast. I was beyond disappointed when I got there. I should have ran when I saw it. The tacos weren't bad. But the tortillas sucked. They were straight up sticky/soggy. The queso was likely the best part of the meal or chips. The ordering system is via screen that if you don't know what they have nowadays you won't find anything. I miss the OG place and likely won't return again.

I'm out of town and have never heard of District Taco- but I am thoroughly impressed. I would compare the process to ordering food like chipotle, except we ordered on a kiosk. The workers were very helpful and brought our food out to us (which we were not expecting) and everything tasted amazing. Their queso was unique, they had unique toppings for their entrees, and they even served beer to my Dad. I am a vegetarian and they have a beyond meat option which tasted amazing. The prices were cheap for being downtown and the portions were large for the price. I would highly recommend and would love to eat here again.

I was very excited that I'd be working within walking distance to a taco place because I freakin love tacos. I'm hoping that I caught them on an off day because I was totally underwhelmed. First off the place was packed and super loud. I felt like I was shouting at my co-worker. Second, when ordering I went with a safe bet and ordered the carne aside taco and one carnitas both the "jefe way." Then I was given the option of flour or corn tortillas. I asked the employee what he recommended and he recommended flour tortilla for the carnitas and corn for the carne asada so I went with that. Oh and I asked for my order to be "here" not "togo." When my food arrived my tacos were all wrapped up like they were togo.... First I opened my carne asada and this is where the disappointment started come over me. My tortilla was falling apart but regardless I took a bite hoping to taste delicious carne asada. The carne asada was horrible and unlike any authentic carne asada I've ever had. It was tough, chewy, and really just tasted like old steak. It didn't seem to be seasoned or marinated like any carne asada I've ever tasted. On to my second choice fingers were crossed. I opened the carnitas taco and bam corn tortillas even though I ordered flour on that option! The carnitas taco stayed together a bit more than the carne asada but it was cold. My coworker ordered a barbacoa burrito bowl and seemed to enjoy it. Maybe I've been spoiled all of my life with authentic mexican food but District Taco definitely fell short of my expectations. I probably won't be back.

A competitor with Chipotle in terms of price and options, this places provides a slightly more local feel to your customizable, fast-casual Mexican. They have the same types of meals available - tacos, burritos, bowls - with a slightly larger range of meats, including limited seafood options. There's also a mini buffet of salsa options. I ordered the tacos al pastor but was disappointed to find my meat and tortilla very dry. The pineapple in the al pastor was distributed unevenly between my three tacos and was ice cold. I liked the ambiance, but next time I'll take my chances with Chipotle or order something very different. There isn't much in the way of convenient parking at this location either, which doesn't help much.

District Taco is an easy and filling option to fulfill any of your Mexican food cravings. It's super quick and tastes amazing. We ordered the burrito with homemade guac, rice, black beans, tomato, jalapeno, white onion, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, grilled veggies, sour cream, and cilantro. Even though we ordered take out, the meal was big enough to fill two people! I'm excited to go back and try out some of the other locations after the pandemic!

In fact you DO need this number to pick up your order, when they have given it away to someone else.

I like District Taco. I've eaten at their Arlington, Capitol Hill, and M Street venues. I usually think their food is excellent (I usually have tacos) though the burrito I had today was sort of middling, and given how much I worked for it it should have been delicious. I was working a block away, on a Snow Day, and for the first time ever I ordered online for pickup, thinking I would save time. One mistake I made was when my laptop decided to auto-populate a field with my work email, I let it. My work email has layers of security that make it very difficult to pull up on a phone as opposed to a laptop. So the note pictured here, that says you do NOT need your order number to get your order, was hard to pull up on my phone. As I arrived the manager (it turned out) was having a dispute with someone double parked in an SUV. I went in and before I got my order Mr. SUV charged in and they handed him a bag of food. I noticed that it had a bottled drink (which I'd ordered) and looked like the same size as what I had ordered. I then asked for my order. They could not find it and asked for the email with my order number - the number you are not supposed to need. When I realized I could not pull it up on my phone, where I could only access my personal email, I pulled up my bank account showing that my bank was being charged by District Taco. The manager told me that was irrelevant because it said it was "in process" of being charged. I go back to where I was working, and forward the work email from District Taco confirming my order to my personal email. When I returned, to show the manager my forwarded email on my phone, Mr. SUV has returned. He threw his bag of food across the counter and said "This is NOT my order. I drove all the way back to Georgetown and this not my food!" The manager then asked to look at HIS confirmation on his phone. He had ordered food from some other taco establishment. He had taken my order. (He had apparently not looked at the receipt with my name on it.) The manager said "I asked you if your name was Bruce!" And Mr. SUV said "I said my name was Prince!" (No, not that one.) I said "I thought that looked a lot like my order." The manager then asked me to give him two minutes, since he did not want to give me the bag of food a hothead had touched and driven to Georgetown and back. The manager did not toss in anything extra. A side. Extra chips. Whatever. For denying me my food and making me walk over twice. Here is another culprit in this story, and it is one of my pet peeves. This District Taco plays loud music, the kind I think intended to cover up conversations and cooking sounds, and make people eat quicker so they will leave and open up tables. The result is that one person with a Latin accent and another person with a different accent shouting at each other could not distinguish "Bruce" from "Prince." I am not sure I can order, online anyway, from District Taco again. I already have too many companies and IT systems to hate.

I liked their menu and wanted to give it a try. I got there shortly after they opened up and it was pretty empty. I got a seat right by the door, and had a view of the street and watched as the restaurant began to fill up. Lots of college kids came in as the evening went on and it seemed like a popular restaurant. I thought my server was very good. He checked in regularly and had a lot of tables he was responsible for. For my meal, I started with Queso Fundido and that was probably my favorite. The cheese was really hot and very delicious. It also came with three types of salsa on the side (a salsa verde, a chili salsa, and a third one I'm not sure what it was). I did like the chili one. The flour tortillas were very hot and fresh. I enjoyed it. For my entree, I had the Achiote Hanger Steak Fajitas. This was my least favorite part of the meal. I had asked the waiter if they were good and he told me he always recommends it. I didn't mind the sides that came with it. The rice and beans were pretty good and I liked the guacamole. What I didn't like was the actual steak. It was very tough and hard to bite into. What was weird is it was completely red in the middle so I believe it was medium to medium rare, but the steak wasn't tender at all. It also wasn't very seasoned and the peppers and onions under it just seemed to be sitting in oil. I did ask for salt and pepper, but even with it, I didn't like it. I ended up not finishing the meal. Finally, I had ordered the corn cheesecake as a dessert. I now realize they sent out churros instead, but I guess I wasn't paying attention until after the fact. The churros were OK. I would have preferred more chocolate sauce on mine. I wish I would have spoken up because I was actually looking forward to trying the cheesecake. For me the food was ok, and not spectacular. I'd be willing to try out something else and come back to at least try their cheesecake, but if I never returned that'd be fine with me too.

One such place was a Mexican place as my old fav Mexican place on Kent Island (Señors Chile) had great but extremely greasy birria tacos. So you can imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this food truck that read "Tacos Los Primos". The spot made me curious. So I went to visit a friend who lives in walking distance from the spot for lunch recently. She ordered the veggie burrito and I ordered (pic below) Quesabirria tacos (no onion). When we got back I was WOW'd by not only how yummy my food was but how it wasn't oozing with grease! The consume that comes with for dipping is just enough for me personally and bursting with flavor. As you'd expect from most food trucks the service is made to order. When you go up to the counter and tell them what you want they make it fresh! The truck is parked on Rhoside Green Park (sandwiched between Courthouse and Rosslyn) so if you live in either neighborhood it's easy to access from walking distance. And since it's near an Arlington green space there's usually some seating nearby you can pop a squat and eat lunch. Given spring time is approaching this seems more doable. Just yesterday I was driving by to visit the same friend and saw a long line for this place! Most people in Arlington know how great this spot is, it is a terribly kept secret! Can't comment much on how long the line was busted as I went during a time when it was windy (but warm) and it was mid day. When I drove by it was pushing dinner time past 7pm. I love the food here! But since I live closer to the storefront location in Lyon Park I usually end up ordering food from there (review on that location is coming soon)!
