In addition to litter box cleaning and checking the self-feeder and waterer, Kena emailed me daily updates along with a photo of my kitty. Left town for a bit, and decided to give Ditmas Paws a go. Usually, we board our cat at his vet, but after trying to book online, through email and via phone (they never picked up!), with no luck, I was forced to look at other options. And I'm quite happy I did. The Ditmas Paws crew is professional and caring. Our cat was visited once a day - he was fed, played with, brushed and kept happy. They have a convenient app that was updated after each visit and included pictures with the all the important details. Not only is it a great service, it's less expensive than kenneling and our cat gets to stay at home. We will definitely be using Ditmas Paws in the future. read more

Ash and Kena of Ditmas Paws are fantastic. They accommodated us super last minute, about 2 months ago, and have been walking our pup, Penny on a weekly basis since then. They spent about an hour with us at our meet and greet and Penny immediately took to both of them. We were so nervous about leaving our 3 month puppy Earl for 4 days while we were traveling to DC for work. Not only were their rates reasonable, Kena and Jeffrey exceeded our expectations while we were away. Earl was socialized, went on many walk, continued his crate training and we were kept in the loop with pictures and even a small video on facebook. When we realized we forgot our teething puppies bone hoard, Kena ran to the store to make sure he had some bones to keep up with this teething and training. AMAZING. I cannot recommend Ditmas Paws highly enough. Kena and Jeff are reliable, responsive and fantastic with our dog and cat. They walk our dog 3-4 times a week and I trust them so much with our pets. They are always there when they say they will be and our dog just adores them. Their online booking/scheduling, notification and invoice system is great. They always notify us after walks and cat visits and they are extra careful with locking the house up post visit. Kena went the extra mile when our dog had cataract surgery by coming over to check our dog's progress and adhered to all of our vet's recommendations for extra care post surgery.
