My pup comes here for her grooming which are about $85. They do a good job. Always have availability and she leaves happy and not traumatized. We are able to pick up a cute toy on the way out. read more

Booking was very easy once you submit a questionnaire about your dog's up to date vaccines. I expressed my hesitation to my natural pet because my dog is very often very timid with strangers and afraid of loud noises (the dryer) . To my surprise she was hyper and looked happy when they were done with her grooming. She even tried to go back down the stairs where they groomed her. It came out to $120-130, which included wash and dry, anal gland expression and cut nails. ( she is 70 lbs). In my opinion this was more than I thought it would be but we also never professional groomed her before, so not sure this is standard. However, I would Definitely take her back bc she looked very shiny, not stressed and they took their time with her because she is a shy dog. Thanks again! read more

I went there to see about adopting a kitten with an organization called "NYC TEENS FOR ANIMALS". There was a young lady that was nice but there was an old lady that was quite rude and she interrupted me twice. I just left and will seek to adopt a kitten from somewhere else. My Natural Pet from what i have learned is a good pet store. Upon adopting a kitten which I am looking for, for my mom; I will go in there and check it out. read more

They focus on pet nutrition and the staff is so helpful and patient and capable of answering questions about the different brands of food and the differences in formulas. All products are natural, as nature intended and you know your pets are in excellent hands. They carry brands such as Answers, Northwest Naturals, Portland Petfood, Stella and Chewy, Primal, Lotus, Vital essentials and many more! I am so impressed by the knowledge and high quality products. Was taking my dog to this other groomers since she was a puppy. Always came back with nicks, but I figured it's normal since dogs probably don't sit still when getting groomed. Last time she was groomed, she sustained a severe injury & I ended up paying $900+ in veterinary bills. In comes My Natural Pet, I needed to find a new groomer & my dad was a fan of theirs. They were so thorough, professional, and my dog actually seemed more calm heading with their groomer than my last. My dog came out with no nicks, she was done within an hour(my last groomers had my dog at least 4 hours every time), and she looked great. The best part, and has me recommending this place to everyone, is that my dog actually doesn't mind me grooming her anymore. She hated brushes & cleaning under her eyes, now she's so easy & doesn't mind it. I can't help but think she detested these activities due to association with her last groomers. Bottom line is that this is the best groomers I've ever had, they were nicer, could tell they actually care about animals & having a clean facility, and if you're searching for a groomers in Bay Ridge/Brooklyn, these are your people!! read more

My new favorite store. It's immediately obvious when you enter that this place very clean and organized, well stocked but not overwhelming, and fun. I came to ask for food suggestions and Patrick helped me - he's sincere, friendly, personable, caring, and patient. He gave my puppy lots of love and was the most helpful person I've come across with pet questions. It's clear he is knowledgeable and he helped me choose a food that's healthy and natural - my pup devoured the first bowl (Afterward I looked up studies on this food brand and it's legit). Also I respect that the store's laid out to ensure pets are happy too - my pup had a blast and chose her own cute toy shaped like an avocado. Thank you! And I love that today is a their pet adoption event - (I saw an IG post by the Bay Ridge BID about it, which is why I came looking for this new store). I was stoked when this store opened. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner and her husband who are so nice. She walked us around the store pointing out the best food for our dog who has allergies. Then we found out they offer grooming which is hard to find in the neighborhood. The groomer is FANTASTIC. i cannot say enough about how nice, friendly, and knowledgable she is. One of my dogs is 13, so he's been to lots of groomers, but he's never had such a great cut. When we were able to get an appointment after the quarantine, we were amazed at what an amazing job she did. She bathed him twice. She is absolutely the best groomer I've ever encountered. We moved to Williamsburg in December, but still take the dogs back to Bay Ridge because the service is just that good. The staff is so nice- we always get a friendly reminder call the day before the appointment. What i like most about this store is they remember us- I feel welcomed and appreciated when i go in there. It's a great experience all around, and i hope people will support local small businesses instead of big chains- especially now. read more
