They managed to groom my dog and do everything, which no other groomer has been able to do. She had some matting since she was found abandoned on the street, and would not let me groom them out very easily. The only thing I could do was give her baths and towel dry, which was the experience of other groomers. Whenever I picked her up she would be stressed, but when I picked her up from here she was just happy! Because no one else could get her matting out, she developed a skin infection and staff instructed me on how to treat it. They managed to do everything, which I stressed they did not have to do since I understood she was difficult. I let them know they could just focus on what they could do and I would continue bringing her so she may be comfortable enough to do more later. But turns out it wasn't necessary, she apparently did a great job too and wasn't as extremely difficult as other groomers had made her out to be! The staff is friendly, caring, and extremely kind. Easy to talk to, the vibe of the place is also very nice. They had given me advice earlier when I could not afford a skunk bath and went out of their way to find me a location that carried the products I needed over the phone, they also instructed me on how much to buy and I decided to try them off for regular grooming from that. The place is extremely cozy, clean, and well decorated, it's also focused on the comfort of the dogs, letting them roam around rather than being in kennels all the time. The door is locked so dogs have a chance to do that roaming, and opened by front desk when you show up. Dogs have access to a water bowl. When they are in kennels, they're not the usual claustrophobic ones, and it's often for their own safety in that moment. I also had a lot of fun being there, which you wouldn't expect from a groomer. Prices were phenomenal, I've paid a lot more for a lot less. There's also a little photoshoot with your dog included, which was nice since I don't have many good pictures of me and my dog. We've used Diva Doogie multiple times now so I feel confident giving a review. Aaron and Azael are awesome! They truly care about our pups and it shows. They are well cared for while there and Our dogs come home looking and smelling great. The shop is clean and bright and obviously cared for. I've interacted more with Aaron and he's fantastic, super personable and friendly, but both men are kind and attentive. When in the shop I've seen Azael carrying one larger pup around (not mine) between grooming tasks because she was anxious at the start. When I came to collect my pups Aaron was carrying one of mine around because he was crying to start. And both dogs, separate incidences, appeared calm and at ease in their arms. They are quick to respond to my messages regarding appointments. I have 3! And they went over and above to fit them all in last minute when we had out of town family coming in and I forgot to schedule ahead and wanted my pups to look their best. I have used other dog grooming businesses in the past and the experiences have been more of miss than a hit. So much so, that I started grooming my own Golden Doodle, with the exception of nail trimming. Visiting a store nearby I saw Diva Doggie Spa and thought I would check it out. It surpassed by expectation. The spa is very clean, organized, and welcoming. In meeting Aaron and Azael, they were very friendly and professional. Azael Just happened to be grooming a doodle, you could see the exceptional care of the dog while he is grooming, as the dog was relaxed and was looking amazing. Aaron explained all what the spa offers, and you could easily see the passion and care they have for dogs. He fitted my golden doodle in to get her nails trimmed and by far was the best nail trim she has ever received. My golden doodle was relaxed and her nails and pads were done to perfection. I will definitely be coming back to get my other dogs nails trimmed and for my golden doodle to get fully groomed. I highly recommend this place! read more

Diva doggie was phenomena! I have a Pomsky with a ton of fur and they were so kind, caring and enthusiastic about the services and care they provide. Grooming can be an anxiety provoking experience for both pup and parent but rest assured they will take care of your baby like they were one of their own. I will be recommending them to anyone in the Stone Oak/San Antonio area. My sweet girl was done with her spa day in less than two hours and was extremely impressed by her deshedding, how her coat shined, her teeth were even pearly white. Excellent service with all of our family's dogs! The owners are talented and super friendly and knowledgeable. Even recommended other family members to bring their fur babies. For those with high maintenance purebreds, we brought our shih tzu, who was overdue for grooming, and he returned to us looking beautiful and happy. He's difficult to groom with his distaste for being touched, so we're thankful to find a place that offers amazing service. Ok yes their prices went up but they sent out text messages and one should have confirmed their prices before reservations. Overall, we have been taking our fur dudes there cause they deserve it. No issues with their services, great staff, welcoming people and truly awesome with our fur dudes. Quality over quantity. Small business not some chain or super fancy company. We just relocated from Florida and were looking for a new groomer here in San Antonio. Read good reviews of Diva Doggie so decided to give them a try. Could NOT be more delighted. They got us in the next day after having a cancellation, greeted our dogs warmly, listened carefully to our wishes, and a few hours later we had two happy, beautifully groomed dogs.
