We live right up the street and since the food is so good, we try over and over and over again and it always the same experience: endlessly disappointing. Sitting there for 15 minutes with empty glasses and not a bartender in sight, or waiting 20 minutes in an empty restaurant only to finally order and have the server tell you they just sold out of what you wanted is not the way to run a restaurant. I'm only giving it two stars because the food is so good, but I'm afraid we've been disappointed one too many times. We ordered from the HH menu: Crispy JoJo Skins ($9), Hog Wings with coleslaw ($13), and Buttermilk Chicken Tenders with fries ($10). I appreciated the nice presentation of each of the HH menu items. The JoJo potato skins were loaded with melted cheese, green onions, and bacon bits plus a nice garlic lime sour cream sauce. The Hog Wings selected were succulent pork shanks tossed in kalbi sauce, garnished with sesame seeds and served with coleslaw. The Buttermilk Chicken Tenders were moist and not over coated and served with on point house fries. Yet again, another Shoreline gem flying under the radar screen.
