They may not be as detailed -- informative but they will definitely answer any : all your questions you may have / especially if you have a photo. Their pricing is reasonable and right along with the pricing the service is amazing. Appointments are available but not mandatory -- the parking lot has a lot of parking space -- friendly atmosphere. I spent $90 for a gel full set , gel basic pedicure , and eyebrow wax. Can't beat that ! I will recommend KEN for your toes , IVY for your hands , and Cece thank you for always being attentive and outgoing . Thank you staff for services ! The only con is -- there are older staff so you may just have to be a little more precise or repeat yourself about a couple of things when getting your toes / or nails done. read more

I am so beyond disturbed. I was referred to this establishment so I wanted to use them to treat my entire bridal party of 18 women to come to this establishment. I simply called and requested to speak with a manager or a supervisor So I can ensure that I was speaking to somebody of authority so that no issues occurred with my booking. I called today. I spoke with a lady gave her what I needed. She told me that the manager or the owner was not there and hung up in my face. I proceeded to call back. She answered and hung up again. I had my friend call from her phone. She answered and hung up 6 different times. This is not how business is ran and it's very ironic that I had my friend who is not a black woman Call shortly after just so we could test if they were kind to her and they were of course! Stop supporting businesses that treat us terribly enough is enough! I just moved to the area and was in need of a new place and based on the photos I decided to go with Diva Nails i showed up in earlier hours of the day with no appointment ~11am and needed a pedi/mani. Ken and David attended to me very quickly & I didn't have to wait at all. I showed a pic of Vday nails I wanted that I got from Pinterest. 1 star because the nail techs I've had actually do a good job with my nails and pedicure. My issue was they scammed me. I got a fill and a pedicure which was $85. I tipped $30 which would be split to go to the tech who did my nails and the other who did the pedicure. I paid $115. Okay. Now when I got home, I just happened to be looking at my bank acct and saw that I had been charged $200!!!!! I contacted my bank immediately and they resolved the issue. Now I shouldn't have went back to get my nails done there but I did because I'm like, maybe it was a mistake. The same woman who scammed me sees me looking at gel color polishes and knows I'm there for a fill and pedi. She brings the powder colors to me. Now this doesn't seem bad at face value but what she's doing is pressuring me to pay more. If I choose the powder color then I have to get a full set instead of a fill which is cheaper and all I need. I declined the powder colors but I guess that was the wrong move. I was sat in the pedi chair, water was on, massage chair on and I got 0 service for over an hour. Now in fairness they were busy and I was on my phone and in no rush. But I got up and got outta there as soon as they started services on 2 women who had just walked in! That was intentional and disrespectful. I had sat so long the water was cold and they had to come scoop it out and refresh with more hot water. I feel like they target women and try to upsell you and if it doesn't work you'll be denied service. Will never go back again. read more

I've been going to diva nails for years. Unfortunately After last weeks appointment it will be my last. David usually does my nails but he was out of town so Felix did them and usually he doesn't disappoint but wow, when i got home and really looked at my manicure and pedicure they were HORRIBLE! Maybe he was tired and ready to go that day, had i known that i would have just came back another day before i wasted $80 plus tip. The lady that did my pedicure was nice and new but she was extremely slow. It should not take 2 hours to do a basic pedicure, i laughed inside because i couldn't believe i was still sitting there that long! She was nice though but she did not Get the dead skin off the back of my heel and my feet still felt rough underneath Literally after two days my nails were already lifting and that usually NEVER HAPPENS. Diva Nails is located all by its sorry, little lonesome in a brand new, yet deserted strip around the Westheimer/Synott intersection, with nothing but a Texaco gas station and a closed-down-before-it-even-opened grooming shoppe as its estranged neighbors. My boyfriend and I used to joke about this place since we would pass by it on the way to his place and it always looked so lonely and pathetic. It was for that reason that I chose, on this particular day, out of the hundreds of thousand of Houston nail salons, to give them my business and get my nails done there for a wedding. First off, I completely underestimated Diva Nails because they definitely have business. The salon is small and tacky (big, glittered hearts painted on yellow walls, ew), but there are plenty of nail techs jumping over themselves to take care of their abundance of customers. They offer all the bare services: manis, pedis, French tips, waxing, mediocre massages, etc. I opted for a French Manicure and a French Pedicure ($36 for both) and was immediately brought to one of those generic massage chairs. I dipped my feet into the water and it was seething hot. The nail tech half-heartedly asked, "Da watah okay?" while focusing on getting her tools ready, and immediately, I realized how much I was going to despise the heavily-accented, broken English conversations to follow. You guys familiar with the cliche of the nail techs talking about you in their own language while doing your nails? It's too cliche to actually happen, right? Wrong. The first thing they asked was if I was Vietnamese, I said no, and they immediately switched to their language while staring at me and pointing at my eyebrows. I politely smiled and avoided eye contact as they chatted it up, but damn, was that awkward. I should've regurgitated whatever Vietnamese phrases I knew just to make them crap their pants. The work they did was so-so. I got the white tips I wanted, but when I realized they were already chipping only a few hours later, I was kicking myself for ever feeling sorry for Diva Nails. But the guys named David & Felix were both friendly and their customer service was outstanding. Offered me something to drink before we got started on my mani. Anyway, the person who did my nails was Felix. He was gentle, fast, and knew what he was doing all at once! I came into the salon with the idea of getting dip powder, since every time ive gotten gel or acrylic theyre super thick and ugly! So i wanted dip powder and instead Felix told me he could use liquid and not leave them all bubbly looking and thick. And wow I have to say he impressed me! Leaving them thin as a natural nail. Anyway, the process itself was great and quick whilst still leaving a beautiful finishing touch. Not bad for the price either! I paid $45 for these babies, of course I added a tip in addition to $45. I only went back so many times because there are several people working there and I thought maybe one would actually do a good job... Nope. People aren't friendly at all. It's hard to understand what they're saying a lot of the times and they're always trying to make you spend more by giving you unexpected fees while you're checking out; not to mention services are significantly over priced. Nonetheless, when we walked in, I wasn't so hesitant on getting my pedi done. It was clean for the most part when walked in but, I wouldn't give it an A+. Overall, customer service was horrible! The service was decent despite the fact that I really wasn't confident that the tools were sterilized to my standards. The nail shop I go to back home, the tools are removed from the sterile pack as they are prepping you for your services. Here, they were just pulled out of a drawer along with several other tools. Also, they were super pushy with their pedi services. Of course, they asked a million and one times if you wanted designs, the most expensive pedi blah blah blah lol.
