I love diva nails. I frequently get my eyebrows done there and for only $7!! Kim is my favorite. She always does my eyebrows perfectly and I love that there is a separate room for customer privacy. I'm moving soon and I'm really going to miss my go to nail salon. Hopefully there's a place in my new town with prices and service as great as Diva Nails. Best. Salon. Ever. read more

Im not usually one to give a bad review, but I feel like My experience was pretty bad and people should be warned. Firstly, I was being rushed the whole time, even though I showed up on time for my appointment and there were no other people waiting. I got a no chip and they gave me about 1 solid minute to look at the colors they had. Before I could choose the lady removing my old no chip wanted to get started so I put the colors aside and said I would just pick when she was finished. She asked me three times during the removal process what color I wanted so that the girl painting them could get the color ready (two different techs worked on my nails for some reason.) I told her each time that I hadn't decided yet but that I had a picture in my phone I could show the other girl if she wanted to try matching it. She was rushing through the process so quickly that she didn't give me a chance to show the other tech. When she was done removing my old no chip she told me to hurry and wash my hands and proceeded to quickly start filing my nails. I told her I wanted to change the shape and she got annoyed with me and actually laughed in my face when I told her I wanted my nails more oval/almond shaped. She said no, that wouldn't work because the were too short and said she would give me a rounded square look. At this point I was sort of in shock with how I was being treated and just wanted to get out of there so I let her do her thing. When she was finished all my nails were different lengths ( i didn't notice until I had a second to examine them after I left.) they were all grown out to the same length when I sat down for my appointment. Now I was seated with the second tech Who grabbed my hands right away to start painting before I could show them the picture in my phone. She asked again what color I wanted and said I had been trying to show them the picture I wanted in my phone, but that it was a nice neutral pink/nude with glitter over top. She said she had just the thing and showed me a light pink looking shade that I just said fine to at this point because I was getting so anxious about how rushed they were. The color ended up being clear. Which was not what i wanted. When it was time to apply the glitter she assumed I wanted it straight across the top like a French manicure but i said that I would like it more of that rain/ombré effect and she actually rolled her eyes at me! I said well if that's okay... and she said that was fine, quickly finished up, I paid and left. After I I left I was able to examine my nails and I was really upset. The colors themselves are okay although not what I wanted. But the quality of work is not okay. Every nail had too much shellac globed on and it was peeling up over my skin. It's already starting to pop up at the edges and it's only been 3 days. I'm really upset with how it was treated. I came in as a paying customer hoping to get good service after the reviews I saw and I was seriously disappointed. read more

The pedicure was mediocre, no hot towel on my legs while my toes got painted. There was a towel to wipe on the lotion that was used for the light massage. I had multiple people work on me while I was there. The paint job that I got was streaky. I should have just painted my nails myself instead of paying to get them professionally done, it would have looked better and smoother. read more

I have been going to Diva Nails for 11 years. Absolutely thee best place and friendly service I have received. Nick is the owner and I love him to death. Such a great atmosphere, family friendly, everyone knows everyone and welcomes new customers with open arms. No one has done a better job at doing my nails. I can go to anyone and receive a great service. They also do waxing, eyelash extensions, no chip, pink and white, and their pedicures are amazing. So, I decided to try this salon close to home after one of my acrylic gel nails fell off. I went in for gel nail removal and a no chip . The only downside to this salon was that I had to wait close to 2 hours for them to remove my acrylics and had my fingers soaking in acetone for this whole 2 hours & their gel no- chip color selection is not very big... They had maybe 40 different colors, only a few different OPI colors and the rest off brands i had never seen in salons... And the pedicure chairs looked worn and dingy... But the man did a great job on my nails, didn't charge me for the removal which should have been 10$ & moisturizer and massaged my hand after my no- chip. If they had move color choice for no chip, this would get a better rating from me. They were accommodating and efficient. May not be back since the no chip color selection was bland but, it was a good experience. read more

All I can say is they said we do the best eyelash extensions and she is very good. Guess what...NOT! Took 3 hours for my friend and I each...yes 3 hours each! Then she charged my friend full price and then when I was done told me only half after my friend left. Then she said glue was bad. I had been going for pedicures cause I liked how the girl massaged them and trimmed my nails. Their polish is very old and thinned out which makes the finished product look like crap! Whom do they think their fooling...I went and got my money back for eyelashes and they openly admitted that is was bad. A store full of people in the place. NEVER AGAIN....don't play games and then charge people. Will never ever go back. Poorest business practices in Lake Zurich....Public Health should close them down.....bugs and dirty! Smells like a bathroom. NO MORE OF MY BUSINESS! read more

Worst nail salon that I have ever been to!!!!!! The place is old and dirty and the "so-called" nail tech was awful, the pedicure she gave was a minus 10. She cut my nails super short and crooked! I also got a lip wax and she burned me! Will NEVER go there again and neither should you. read more

This place is terrible. I don't live in Lake Zurich but was visiting my mom and wanted to run in for a mani. I had been here a few years ago and it was fine. For starters it's very dirty and disheveled. The manicure tools had skin from previous clients on them! The stations are old and dirty. Secondly, their polish selection is TERRIBLE and everything was thick and the nail tech had to keep adding thinner, and if you have enough manicures you know thinner makes the polish look like crap. Then she didn't even move me over to the drying station! She had me sit at her station with the fan and then sprayed my nails with the dry spray! The nail tech was nice, but her massage was careless. She had to keep going back to even out my nails and took all my length off. I would NEVER normally write a bad yelp review because I am in the industry myself and know the impact it can have on you but, they're lucky I'm not calling the health department. Bottom line, there are a few other nail salons in Lake Zurich very close by Diva Nails. Go there. read more
