I've read some pretty good reviews about this nail shop so I decided to check it out today. They do nails pretty good, however the reason why I'm giving it only 2 stars is because the nail technicians are TOO AGGRESSIVE! I got nipped during services because the male techs don't handle women's nails gently and with care. I looked to my left and saw how harsh and aggressive the other nail tech was filing the other ladies nails and I couldn't help but to scrunch my face in pain for her. Came in for a no chip mani and eyebrow. The time spent on the mani was a little too long, she applied several base coats and painted each nail with color one by ONE which took foreverrrr. She filed my nails slanted and shorter than I asked but cleaned up the sides nicely yet she did them several times. Overall the tediousness got irritating which made me think she couldn't handle the job. Then as far as my eyebrows I specifically asked for a simple clean up yet she put in an arch and hacked off my ends. They did good with customer service and the Nails minus the finishing shape. A shop to visit last minute but I was not wowed away at the quality. As far as the shop itself, it wasn't that clean a typical neighborhood shop. Small and I did not see her clean the equipment. She came from behind with the tools in a new wrapper but when she finished I seen her place them back into the same paper holder without cleaning it!! Then the beads and glass holder they place your hands in while filing she just rinsed it and placed it in the container without cleaning. read more

The ratings they have already are misleading, this is by far the worst nail spa experience I have had. For me to actually yelp, it's not often I carve time out of my day to do this. Went in for a mani/pedi combo and I have a huge cut on my toe now that burns and makes it hard to walk. The mani came out completely chopped my cuticle looks like crap, nails aren't filed correctly it's a hot mess honestly. I literally probably could have done a way better job also without harming myself. Huge disappointment. read more

This is my designated nail salon! So friendly, so professional. I love that they're pedicure stations have the disposable bags placed on the bowls. My nail technician Chelsea takes her time making sure my nails always look great! Great selection of colors! The nail techs always try hard to bring their clients visions to life. I have been coming here since last year, and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I've NEVER been disappointed with the service here. Nail services, waxing, and lashes. Great southside spot! If you're looking for quality nails without the long wait times this is your spot. None of my nails broke/chipped and polish lasted so long! The two gentlemen were the only ones I've been to so far and they both take their time and give you exactly what you want. I always get an acrylic no chip and they charged me $35, $25 regular polish. I looked for a salon with good prices and checked this one out. This is the only nail salon I've been to where they have to buzz you in & out of the door :( My nails were done pretty quickly which I like and the pedicure was very relaxing. I did the rhinestones on my nails and I really liked it at first but after a few days the stones started falling off. I could kinda tell when the guy was doing it, that it wouldn't last. I usually get my nails done every 2 weeks, and now I have to walk around with messed up nails because you can tell where the stones fell off and it doesn't look good. I did an eyebrow wax and it was done well. When I was about to leave I saw on their menu list they did eyelash extensions too and I'm impulsive. I know I shouldn't get my lashes done at a nail salon but I keep doing it The same lady who did my brows did my lashes and I should've stopped her when she first started. Most people will tape your eye and then do it... she just held my eye open with her hand and told me to stop blinking lol. The glue she used burned and the end result looked to short and thick, not good at all. My eyes were irritated the whole time they were on and fell out (taking some of my real lashes with it) after about a week. Don't recommend. read more

I came in to be serviced and unlike my previous experience this was all bad. The moment I noticed that the original tech who'd done my nails before wasn't there is when I should've just left. I came in for a pedi and full set. I was getting the all powder dip and you pretty much have to find a polish to match your pedi as accurately as possible. I was having a hard time matching so I asked the nail tech for his assistance. He snarled at me and pointed for me to look at the wall. After 10 mins or so I explained to him I couldn't match it and that it was his expertise that was needed to ensure I had the closest match. It was then when he'd informed me that it wasn't his job and that I had to pick it out on my own. We'd already removed the polish from my prior pedi. I gave him $2 and let him know how rude he was and that he should work on his customer service and people skills. I am so tired of this epidemic going on in the black community where our options are limited and the service is rude and sub par. We spend so much money on these services and help to fund some of these peoples lives and send their children off to college and yet they get by on crappy service and nasty attitudes. This has to stop! read more

I just left this place spent 32 on HORRIBLE SERVICE. I tried to be patient with the old guy but he became frustrated that I wanted my nails square and neat! he continued making them crooked he literally tossed the nail file at me and said " you do it" wtf if you can't do nails you're not a nail tech lack of professionalism. They are not using fresh unsealed product to prevent infection. I literally watched one of the guy in the black shirt take his cuticle clippers out his box put them into plastic this sat them in something that looked like a microwave ‍. Do t waste your money here especially if your black. They don't respect your the health of your nail nor your hard earned money. Also I would like to add this nail solan popped up when I searched for black owned nail solan! DEFINITELY NOT! I heard there were people going around shutting down nail solans like this if they don't get their shit together they might be next. Make room for nail tech who can do the job. read more

Chelsea was awesome. My nails look great. She takes her time and gives attention to detail. Pedi was terrific. Only 3 stars though because the salon was so sloppy. Interestingly the majority of manicurists are male. Coincidence?lol...not sure...just saying. Anyway, if you can get past the aesthetic, give them a try. Everyone was friendly and they actually play good music!! read more

Great service! They have these fantastic pedicures with different scents that are magnificent.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE TI. He's been doing my nails since he worked at Maxim nails and literally when he left the whole shop went to hell. They broke my real nails off that TI spent almost a year growing out. I immediately had to leave and followed TI to numerous nail salons that he worked out no matter how far.
