I loved that the drying station was at the window front so I could people watch outside and enjoy my coffee. What would make this place even better if they were a BYOB or offered coffee--would put them up a notch in my book. Overall, satisfied with my experience but wished they had more options and experience with doing different types of pedicure techniques (like ombré, adding gems, etc.). I will be back again though! During the pedicure, the nail tech noticed staining on my nails and assumed it was no-chip polish that needed removal. Even after I repeatedly explained that it was only a stain and not no-chip, the nail tech began drilling my nails without asking for permission first. To make matters worse, the front desk staff and nail tech refused to listen to my explanation and still increased the price for services they decided to perform on their own. We never requested extra services, and we were not even getting polish applied afterward. A customer should always be informed and give consent before additional services are performed and charged. Unfortunately, this experience felt dismissive, unprofessional, and very frustrating. I would not recommend this salon based on how this situation was handled.

I decided to do the $15 add on for a manicure and then upgraded to the gel manicure since I do so many sports. I was shocked, it's been 2 weeks and there's not a chip in sight. I even went rock climbing! My nails are starting to get uncomfortably long but it seems a shame to trim then when they look so good! People ask me if they're fake because they look so good. As my natural nails finally started growing longer and stronger, I hoped to branch out into nail art, but that does not really seem to be their specialty. Over time, I also experienced inconsistent manicures, nail misshaping, chips, and polish separation that affected the growth and health of my natural nails, often forcing me to cut them down and start over. After trying another salon, I am now going on week three with my manicure with zero chips, no polish separation, and perfectly shaped nails. That experience confirmed for me that what I had been experiencing was not simply normal wear and tear. I genuinely liked the convenience and atmosphere at Coco, which made this decision disappointing after being a loyal customer for years and spending a significant amount there. Based on my experience, there may be opportunities for additional training, stronger quality control, or a review of nail prep and products being used, as consistency was the biggest issue for me. I wanted to love it here long term, but unfortunately, the quality of service no longer matched the loyalty or investment.
