    Elderflower cosmo
    Donyiel C.

Had a pleasant experience here a few days ago. We were celebrating a friend's birthday. She wanted something low key and this was perfect. It wasn't too busy. Becky was our server and she was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's outdoor and indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a cool speakeasy downstairs called, "Blind Pig." I went once and had a great time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu offers enough options for everyone to find something. I wasn't starving so I opted for the Thai beef salad. It was very filling and tasty. I enjoyed the elderflower cosmo. I would get it again. The prices are fair! They do have happy hour! There's a parking lot but it can get crowded.

I like the Dive Bar & Grille. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great location and friendly staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Today's visit was different from past experiences. Sitting at the bar, service was slow, and several minutes had gone by before we received any services. I ordered the Flank Steak Frites, beans and rice, and sautéed spinach. I ordered my steak medium-rare. About half of it was a touch over medium. Good flavor, but I only ate half. The espresso martini was good. Too much water from shaking it up so it was a bit on the weaker side than I have had. Overall, decent meal and experience. I will definitely visit again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot to enjoy the nice weather. They have a patio deck with outdoor seating that overlooks the river and other buildings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came with a group of 6 and enjoyed a variety of food including burgers, salad, chicken and Reubens. The tarot tots are amazing and come as a side option. Lots of beer and cocktails to choose from and great service.

Excellent food! My first time and had a great time. So many things on the menu I want to try. Will definitely be back to visit.

Overall: okay food, lots of drinks and draught beers, service was lacking, [[HIGHLIGHT]]casual ambiance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], [[HIGHLIGHT]]inclusive single-stall restrooms, changing pad available[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love Savage Mill. This place is where Ramshead used to be. It has a large menu, large selection of draught beers and other drinks. I didn't see any mocktails. They have some weekday specials and host trivia. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have multiple different places to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were two large tables on the side which were nice to sit large parties of 8-12ish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu was huge with lots of options. Not a lot on the menu got me excited but I was pleasantly surprised with the drunken shrimp. It had good flavor and a little bit of spice. They fried over the shrimp tails which was a little hard to figure out where to eat and not eat. Our server didn't check on us very often and we had to continually ask for things like water.

Lunch time at the Dive Bar & Grille

When is a medium-rare burger fully cooked? . Ok... rhetorical question. I stopped in for a quick lunch while in town. Only three other patrons were seated, yet no staff checked back in after dropping the food at my table. My order was "no onions" -- but it came with onions anyway and too well done. Attention to detail clearly wasn't on the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On the positive side, the space is nicely decorated, with a classic Mill look that gives it character.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, the food and service lived up to the "Dive" part of the name. They missed the mark here. Maybe they perform better when it's busier? If so, that's not a great business model. For me, the experience didn't measure up.

The dive bar and grill is anything but a dive bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food is excellent, the ambience is slightly more upscale but the prices are reasonable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stopped in before the ghost tour which would be taking me through the mill mall. This place had some loaded nachos which were some of the best I've ever had. Plenty of chips, plenty of toppings, and layers is cheese. Additionally I had the Brussel sprouts which were good but the chips were better. I also had a Moscow mule while here and it was typical. I would ask more for of a punch in it and less ginger beer. Service was great and I enjoyed taking about the local haunts to get an idea of what else was good.

Oh my! The salmon and sweet potato totter tots with the cinnamon sauce is a fan favorite. Conveniently located at the Historic Savage Mill mall. I stopped by one night after "Girls Night Out" and I was not disappointed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have plenty of seating with a down and upstairs dining room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of options on the menu and delicious drinks.

Macho Man Reuben -- that shouldn't be called a reuben.
    Bill C.

Meh! I ordered the reuben, which is my favorite sandwich and my goto if I'm at a new sandwich place. Dive Bar has three variations on a reuben. So, I figured I should try one. Really, I shouldn't have. I'm actually not sure why they call it a reuben. It might have been a better sandwich if it wasn't so unlike a reuben. The fries, the slaw, the tomato?? What was I thinking ordering that?

    Shirlonda S.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a BEAUTIFUL space especially on the outside deck.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is live music, a pool table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was really good. I did enjoy my food( beef taco) and drink ( mojito). There is a public parking lot . It's a great day night, solo night, family or friends night hangout spot.

    Happy hour drink menu

Another Happy Hour review, you ask? Absolutely! I visited Dive Bar with a group last Friday. I wasn't sure exactly where it was until I pulled up and realized it's in the Savage Mill building - how exciting! I hadn't been there in years. The venue, formerly home to Rams Head Live, offers plenty of space, with both an upstairs and downstairs area that can accommodate many guests. We tried a few dishes, starting with the Buffalo Wings flavored with Old Bay. They were okay, but nothing too exciting. The flavor was there, but they didn't stand out as anything special. The Hanger Steak & Fries was ordered by a friend and she said it was good although it was cold. I did try the fries from another's plate since my food was still not out yet and the were good - love places that cut their own fries! When my food finally came, I dug into that hummus! The platter was decent. The hummus itself was tasty, and I liked the addition of tomato, which balanced the saltiness well. However, I wasn't a fan of the black bean dip. I tried it, but didn't go back for more as it just didn't suit my taste. I ended up dipping everything (except my naan) in the hummus, trying to keep it low carb. I also enjoyed the Baked Pretzel Sticks, though the beer cheese wasn't what I expected. It was thick and lacked the smooth, cheesy flavor I was hoping for. One of my friends had the Crab Dip and said it was good - though I didn't get to try it. It looked like the usual crab dip without lump meat, so I wasn't too excited to try it myself. The standout for me was the Passion Fruit Paloma - it was amazing! I enjoyed it so much that I had others at the table try it too. While it wasn't on the happy hour menu, it was only $10 and definitely worth it. One downside was the service. Initially, the drinks weren't being made at the bar, which was confusing. As the night went on and service remained slow, we ended up going to the bar ourselves to place drink orders. I'm not sure if there's a separate bar for diners, but that could explain why drinks were taking longer than expected. The biggest issue, though, was the wait for food. We noticed that people who arrived after us were getting their food before we did, which was frustrating. When I asked our server if he needed help, he assured me he did have assistance, but the service was still extremely slow. I would go back for the drinks and sit at the bar

Very nice experience. Really good service, and beer, and cocktails. All the food was great. We were cold, and our server was happy to lower the air for us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The live music was really pleasant, and not so loud that we couldn't converse.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the place is reasonably priced.

They both was very good match with my cocktail taste! I like the food too! Calamari, truffle fries, edamame, rolles, chicken tenders,... all was tasty. The tour about the how they make Vodka, gin, Baijiu process was pretty impressed. They make all these drinks right behind the bulilding... By the way the most unique and different thing for me was BAIJIU! This is the first time I heard and tast! It's strong and tasty. The an other most important thing was, I was the winner for the event! I won the bottle of Oversea Baijiu. Because of my video that I share at instagram I am glad Oversea Distillery and Bar only 10 minutes away from my house! BAIJIU: (pronounced bye-jyo) is a traditional, clear Chinese distilled spirit. Literally translating to "white liquor," it is typically distilled from fermented grains like sorghum, rice, or wheat and ranges from 35% to 60% ABV. As the world's most consumed spirit, it boasts a history spanning millennia How It's MadeUnlike most Western spirits, baijiu relies on qu, a unique starter culture of crushed grains packed with active molds and yeasts. This culture simultaneously converts grain starches into sugars and ferments those sugars into alcohol--a process called solid-state fermentation. The mash is then traditionally distilled in clay or stone pots. Just like wine or whiskey, baijiu isn't a single flavor. It is categorized into four primary styles, though many sub-varieties exist: Strong Aroma: Sweet and pungent with fruity and spicy notes (e.g., Wuliangye). Sauce Aroma: Complex and savory, often likened to soy sauce, fermented vegetables, or dark chocolate (e.g., Kweichow Moutai). Light Aroma: Crisp, clean, and floral, similar to sake or high-end vodka. Rice Aroma: Mild, slightly sweet, and floral, closely resembling other Asian grain spirits like shochu.

Sonoma's Bar & Grill is a smallish restaurant and bar with good music, food, drink, and staff…read more We know someone in an all-woman Beatles-cover-band, Magical Mystery Girls, so we followed them to Sonoma's here and found a standing-room-only crowd! (Apr 2026). We hunted among filled tables until we found a one-seat open high-top and managed to beg another seat from elsewhere. We had a great view of the stage. We ordered beers directly from the bar because our table was sort of improvised. We got a Burger Shark draft, a smooth malty amber ale from Odenton's own Crooked Crab. And a good-old ice-cold bottled Natty Boh lager. The drinks were served right away. And in those few minutes, staff (it looked like a hands-on chip-in manager!) took us on at our invented table, and got our out-of-order food-order to us pretty quickly. We had a piping-hot sweet tender Yuengling-Beer-Battered Cod Sandwich on a brioche-textured bun, with a classic thick-yet-light crispy batter, american cheese, lettuce, and lightly spicy ranch. And a savory Grilled Smoked Portobello on a thick pretzel bun, piled high with roasted red peppers, onions, provolone, and lettuce. Both delicious and inexpensive. The band was lots of fun! Of course we knew every song. The band landed every riff and musical phrase that you know and love, yes they can hit Paul's high notes! And they bring enough original touches to each song to make the music their own. Tonight was their quartet (not their 6-piece band), and each musician had the lead in at least one song. They are loud, filling the room even with all the people soaking up the vibes. I almost didn't mention that Sonoma's keeps a dance-floor open in front of the stage, and we rocked all evening! We had a great boisterous, thirst-quenching, tasty, welcoming evening. I would expect this shopping center to re-grow around this popular long-time restaurant-bar music-venue (since 1996!). TLDR location info next, but it might save you a trip to the wrong shopping center. You'll find Sonoma's in the "Owen Brown Village Shopping Center" on the south arm of Cradlerock Way circle off Broken Land Parkway. This is the Center with the gas station, not the center next door with the big-chain grocery, and not the smaller center with the convenience store around the north arm of Cradlerock. This center is somewhat sleepy these days, so there's plenty of parking. There's more parking in a northeast lot, too. From the main lot, you walk by the nail salon, then turn between the buildings where the Chick 'n Friends chicken-shop used to be. (Best Pressure-fried Chicken and delicious catfish now at a different location!) It's a short walk southeast to Sonoma's on the right, with outdoor tables and a bright blue-and-yellow hard-seltzer ad facing the Lake Eikhorn trail and the back of the grocery. The actual Sonoma's sign above the entrance is subtle compared with the bright window ad.

I've visited several locations in Georgia, so when I suggested that my family meet me at the Elkridge location on Father's Day, I knew exactly what I was signing up for. I had a late afternoon flight home, and wanted to be close to BWI airport. Parking was plentiful and free, although first timers should know you'll need to walk around the building to find the entrance. We waited about an hour for a table, and after being seated, we waited a little longer before anyone came over. Thankfully, the manager was making his rounds, noticed we'd been overlooked, and immediately sent over a server along with complimentary beignets. That simple gesture completely changed the tone of our visit. The ambiance was casual yet upscale-ish. I ordered the Strawberry St. Germain Mimosa, my niece had the Pineapple Berry Agua Fresca, and both were excellent. My brothers enjoyed the Cajun Shrimp & Crayfish Omelette, my niece loved her Chicken & Waffles, and my Crab Cake Benedict was delicious. I'll even admit the crab cake tasted better than the ones I've had at the Georgia locations, when in Maryland, I guess that's to be expected! Considering it was Father's Day and the restaurant was absolutely slammed, the staff handled the crowd well. Once our server arrived, he was friendly, attentive, and never made us feel rushed. This was my family's first visit, but based on all the clean plates and compliments around the table, it definitely won't be their last. If you're planning a weekend brunch here, come with a little patience, you'll likely be rewarded with a very good meal.
