    Weekend specials menu

My husband and I went on a whim for a quick local date night. It was just the right atmosphere for a Saturday date night or a special occasion. The server was very attentive, quick, and pleasant. The food was also excellent. The scallops on weekend special were my favorite. I might consider ordering 2 and considering that my meal next time. My airline chicken was perfectly cooked and if you eat out like I do, you know perfectly cooked chicken is not easy to come by. The only critique I have is the mocktail was a basic lemonade. I was hoping for something more special for an $8 drink. Otherwise, my date night dinner was perfect.

This was my first time at Old Line Kitchen & Wine Bar. I have to say, from the moment you walk into the restaurant you feel like a regular. From the warm welcome at the hostess desk, our wonderful server named Drew, and the food......it was an amazing night and I can't wait to go back! Every single thing we ate was some of the best food in Howard County. The house focaccia was crispy on the outside and was perfectly fluffy in the middle. It was a bite to remember for years, but when you added the butter and rosemary sea salt, it was a bite to remember for decades. The crispy rock shrimp came out hot and very crispy. The two sauces on them was like a marriage that will never divorce. It's a marriage that will last throughout time. Now onto the entree, the 14 ounce grilled ribeye, it was the knockout punch. This steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked just how I wanted it. It melted in my mouth. The devils food cake was moist, fudgy, and well balanced. Great end of the meal Bite! I highly recommend this restaurant and hopefully you try it too!

Cheers to 2026!!! I stopped by for happy hour and sat at the bar. They have a nice selection of wines. Including some wines on tap and other spirits. They have wine from Boordy's, one of my favorite Maryland wines. I did a french wine from the happy hour menu and it was pretty good. I decided to try one of the wines on tap - had the Charles and Charles, a red blend and I liked this better than my fist glass. I didn't try any food but I looked at the menu and it looks great so I'll definitely come back. Restaurant Week is coming up so I'll be back sooner than later. Service was good. They do happy hour all day Monday! Love that! This place is a little tucked away, but I really liked the vibe.

They were just OK. 2 stars for excellent service. I visited with a large group and we were well taken care of. That said, I was underwhelmed by most of the appetizers. We had a prefix menu and I ordered the steak frites. While the steak was pretty good (once the right one was given to me - I'd ordered medium rare and had initially been given well done) but the fries were too hard and salty. Finally I ordered a banana dessert to go and it looked amazing until I bit into it. Someone had a heavy hand with the seasonal spices.

I went for a work dinner. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The restuatant was old world classic and clean. I ordered the key lime martini and it was amazing. I would go back for just that. I ordered the lamb bolognese. It was okay, not the best ive had. The noodles were too thick and grainy. The sauce was not flavorful. Im not sure if I would go back. But they do have a great space for a party.

Attended another vino on the veranda event last night. It was windy and chilly so we were happy to see the heaters were turned on. The event was sold out and there were more people than last month. I felt the wine event was disorganized or if it was the wine person. In the beginning, he poured the red wine first before the white. People at my table were getting confused as to which wine the wine person was talking about. The service was great. At the end when we were waiting for our wines, we found out that we needed to pick them up. We were getting mixed information from the wait staff and from the wine person. It seemed everyone was confused which led to the customers (us) being confused, which was why I thought the event was and felt disorganized. We ordered food from the Happy Hour menu which was okay. The crab dip was on the salty side and the truffle fries were good.

Update: Old Line passed the first round. Family came to celebrate a birthday. Late Lunchtime. Service was warm and friendly but some minor reminders were needed. We shared the fried cauliflower and the calamari. Everyone raved over the perfectly fried crunchy fresh calamari with the trio of sauces. There was no lingering aroma of fried seafood at the table. I would recommend this. The Venetian spritzer was less aromatic and bitter than I had expected. Not bad, not to repeat. The fried chicken thigh sandwich was a generous portion, served with chips. Someone chose mac and cheese and enjoyed it. The accompanying homemade chips tasted fresh and lightly seasoned without a trace of oil. The crab cake sandwich also got a thumbs up from two companions. Hefty portion of meat. Most people find the food very filling, a good sign in my experience. I ordered the pork chop, which had a blackberry-rosemary demi glace, agave carrots, and edamame purée I requested it medium well but some parts were barely medium. The demi glace was not flavorful, and I had to look up how it was supposed to taste. The purée tasted too creamy with a neither smooth nor chunky texture. Overall, I could not taste any flavor in any one component. A few requests like napkins and sandwich modifications did not go through. Fortunately others enjoyed their food and did not dwell on the gaps. Red Velvet Smith Island cake got rave reviews; generous portion, enough to share. The lemon sorbet reserved for a birthday celebrations tasted smooth refreshing and not too sweet. Since there was no ice cream and I was not in a vegan banana cake mood, I passed on dessert. The chocolate torte would be welcome another time. The jazz music that had matched the ambiance on the first visit was replaced with 80s one-hit wonders from the bottom of the charts. A bathroom stall issue would have created a line at a busier moment. This was a mostly delicious yet uneven experience. The visit was closer to three stars. However, the overall food experience kept it afloat. Repeat patchy service (widely varied amongst servers), ambiance mismatch and lack of accurate menus online would drag the food experience down.

First time here tried for restaurant week. Great service to start. I had the gatsby and my friend had the wine flight. The drinks are amazing the food was delicious, my sliders were juicy and scrumptious! Liked the room were seated in- cozy and warm. Great experience

We went for Happy Hour and we thought it was a bit above average. Worth a 3 1/2 stars. We had Calamari, which was good, lightly battered & fried, we also ordered the sliders & those were very good & flavorful. We also ordered the ricotta which was light & creamy but it lacked something.... Lastly , we tried the pupusas. These were delicious but should've been served with the traditional curdito salad. Good drinks offerings so no complaints there. Our bartender was not very attentive or engaging. The place was practically empty but we constantly had to get her attention to get additional food & drinks. The restaurant's dining room looks nice & comfortable so maybe we'll come for dinner sometime.

It was worth a shot! I felt like I was being pranked. Let's start by saying that this place has a TON of potential. This could genuinely be a nice place to lounge, grab a bite to eat and catch a vibe.. HOWEVER, everything was off. The staff is superrrr nice but when you are a server, hygiene should be top priority. I am going to decline to specify exactly what went wrong to maintain decency. I initially ordered calamari because I just wanted a bite and a drink.. unfortunately, I had to send it back because the calamari was gummy and oily. The drink was a drink.. it was cool. I ended up having to just get fries. Now THOSE were bomb! I'd def go back for the fries. lol Then when we were just over it, it was so hard to get our server's attention... my sister has to raise her voice and say "excuse me!" It was so embarrassing lmao Everything genuinely felt like a "this can't be real life" moment. Me and my sister laughed and cackled in literal tears until we left the restaurant

Welcome to Old Line Kitchen & Wine Bar. You are instantly greeted with friendly staff members. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant, classy, and intimate. This is a very ideal place to celebrate a special occasion or romantic date night. There are nine main dishes to choose from covering a variety of dietary options such as vegan and gluten free. The cocktails were very refreshing, the food was amazing. There is an option for table side fresh grounded pepper by a server. You're going to have a high quality experience. Highly recommend 4.7 of 5 *Pro tip: Candles aren't at every table but upon request one will be brought out to you. Romantic Date night suggestion*

Give me a cheese charcuterie board, a bottle of wine and a few cocktails and I am good to go. And Old Line did not disappoint. Conveniently located in Columbia, where Aida's use to reside. This establishment is a great addition to the area. Check out their website for Happy Hour menus and special events.

Those of you who…read moreread my reviews know I typically review either really good or really "not so good" restaurants. I'm breaking my own rules, because I feel the 3.9 rating is pretty accurate, with one 5 star + exception. This was a business lunch and a convenient location so there we were. The duck fries as an appetizer were good but needed to be seasoned with a little more salt. I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! My two compadres both had the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They both looked at me sheepishly and said, you f ed up!!! William was kind enough to break off a substantial bite and let me try it. Angels sang, children wept, and I almost passed out! It was the kind of perfection we all agreed we would have eaten 5, maybe 6 of these unnaturally awesome sandwiches until we passed out! 3.5 Star service, 4 Star ambience, and some 10 Star bites! The staff are nice, but service and the kitchen seemed a bit slow on a Sunday early afternoon towards the very end of brunch despite the area we were seated only had a few tables filled. The Crab Cake Eggs Benedict was nothing special - feeling like a flat, single-note dish.. Perhaps it was that the hollandaise sauce lacked the acidity (usually from lemon juice) to brighten the dish. Or, that the nod to Maryland - the Old Bay honey - drizzled around the edges of the dish wasn't enough to elevate it to something that is savored with each bite. The Fluffernutter Blondie is a good dessert choice if you love blondies and peanut butter. Although, it was a bit drier than I'd like, the texture was still soft.

This winery deserves all the awards and promotion that I've seen all socials .... However, when you know a major dmv social group (dmvdoes ) is hosting an event of 40+ people why is only 1 staff member working the whole night.? Our event experience (paid ) came with a glass of wine for all our guests. The wine was just put on a table without any explanation of the wine , grapes, or legacy. I brought several things for a raffle including the mayor bottle of wine , 2 tastings, and a wine flight for myself. There was no education or discussion about wine. Next, I ordered food and drinks before our event started and I didn't get my food until an hour after I arrived. Next , the suya was so tough I almost choked on a piece of it. The rice was decent but not a winner for me. Lastly, parking is limited to street parking or an outdoor parking lot up the street. It's a cute place to have a social event or a laid back wine meetup but definitely need more staff, wine education for visitors, and better food options.

I think it's the only winery in Laurel so I definitely wanted to come and support. I first went to check it out and see what information I could get to reserve for a large party. It's kind of located in the cut of main st but there's plenty of street parking. Walk in and you'll see there are two settings. It's very welcoming and warm with beautiful decor and many seating on both sides. I explained to the gentleman what I wanted and he said it shouldn't be no problem just reach out to the events manager. It was a bit last minute, I sent an email on 9/22 to come on 9/28 at 5:30pm (had to confirm the number of people). Just to clarify, we spoke on the phone and email for communication of all information. I noticed they had an event that same day but it started earlier in the day and the events manager told me it should end before my guests arrive. I told her I was having 20 people total and I was ordering two charcuterie boards. Everything was confirmed and good to go as I thought. My guests were letting me know they were arriving but were seated in the smaller area. I was hoping by the time I got there it would be handled but no they already started ordering in the smaller area and the staff there said they were told only 10 people were suppose to come but I showed them the emails. The event they had ran longer than it should have which I wish I would have known just to let my guests know. The staff then tried to fix it but literally a whole hour and half later. Once we got in the event room, we had our charcuterie boards and others order their suya and jollof rice. They did not finish their food, it actually looked dry. Before the day, I was told my guests were not able to do flights but the day of they were able to order. I wanted to order some for the party but it's okay, we all figured out which wine we liked best and a couple bought bottles. To end it, the staff brought out a cute cupcake for my friends to wish me happy birthday. They have a speaker for you to connect if you want to play your own music. Other than that, we had fun. Regardless, I'm going to have fun. I recommend to go and have your own experience. I will definitely come back for a last minute date or just to pick up one of the wine bottles I liked.
