    Chicken panini special

Overall: lots of cute indoor and outdoor seating, not the most interesting menu, but no complaints with how the food turned out, kind and attentive service This place exceeded my expectations. It's a pretty typical American restaurant but the outdoor seating is really beautiful and that really adds to the ambiance. We love that they have Taharka Brothers ice cream. The sweet potato fries were very sweet and covered in sugar which I wasn't into. The regular fries were good. I enjoyed the sides on my pork chop, but the pork was pretty tough. The serving sizes were large.

Meatloaf was a bit too heavy for me.

Loved the concept. Eating outside was great, til it downpours. Loved the people. Food was not my favorite. Had the meatloaf and didn't like it. The chorizo with corn beef and ground beef, gravy and cheese didn't jive with me. Most stayed on the plate and made its way back inside. That is the downfall of trying new things. Dwayne was a great server. Amicable. Funny. Accommodating. Oliver was a nice host. The rain, oh the rain, enabled us to see the inside a bit closer as we found a table in the bar area to finish up the birthday ice cream and heath bar bread pudding! Birthday girl Amy had a Seasonal salad with cranberry, walnuts and feta with grilled chicken. Thanks LeeLynn's for all that you do!

    Trivial pursuit as we wait

The menu is limited and that's a good thing. They well known for many items. My order of crab cakes were so tasty. It was full of lump crab meat and minimal filling. My husband ate the ribs and he said that they were also delicious. The service was friendly and customers were treated as family. We ate outside with the warmth of September fall days. The ambiance was also warm, floral, and comfortable. Playing trivial pursuit was fun too, once we remembered the rules.

I loved my honey old bay wings. Probably one of the best Ive had and perfectly cooked! I didnt understand the celery and spring mix, but thats just a personal preference. The star of the show (though the wings were literally amazing!!!!!) Was Georgia. She gave us the right amount of service. Not pushy but checked in on us periodically. Loved her kindness! Would go back again! I

Came here on a Fri.Evening. I came once and sat at the bar. This time I got the dining experience. Its was almost a full house, we were seated quickly. The server was very nice and friendly and hooked us up with a better table than what the host placed us at. I feel like the menu was limited like almost what you would find at other local similar restaurants. The presentation and food was overall good. I feel like the Crab dip only had real crab on top and fake crab meat was mixed underneath. I could be wrong. However it was still good. I had the Mudpie for dessert. It was so good forgot to take a photo.

Mahi Mahi Fish Taco 1 Piece Homemade chips are addicting
    Olivia J.

FOOD: The fish tacos come with a jicama slaw and a chimichurri sauce. Thea tacos are filled with the perfect amount of fish. Those house chips are addicting! Light, crispy with herbs and parmishan that gives the right hint a saltiness. I love the happy hour specials which are available Monday through Friday. The calamari and potato crisps were cooked perfectly, and my group ate them before I could take a picture. *side note: the crab cakes here are famous, I saw one delivered to the table next to me and I'm ordering it next time. Although I loved my food my margarita was a little disappointing. Stick to the orange crush, it's made with fresh orange juice. Service: Overall, this is a popular community restaurant. I recommend this spot for family gatherings. The servers here are friendly and polite. It's my first time dinning here but I feel the same warmth I feel at home. Ambiance: The outdoor dinning areas are the place to be in 75 degree day. Even on hot days there is plenty of natural shade outside to keep dinners cool.

    Scallop and Bacon Flatbread

Leelynn's was such a pretty venue with great food - perfect for family or friend gatherings. I was surprised that I hadn't tried it earlier, but it is a bit tucked away in Ellicott City. APPETIZERS: Chickpea tahini hummus (happy hour menu) was so delicious. Definitely recommend, great for sharing. Calamari was tasty as well. MAINS: Twin chicken breast was good, scallop and bacon flatbread was a little underwhelming. BBQ ribs dish was very big. I didn't find a ton of options I liked on the entree menu, but they have a ton of sandwich and salad options if you're into that. DESSERT: I saw good things about the house-made apple crisp on Yelp, and it didn't disappoint - it was the perfect blend of cool ice cream with warm, nutty crisp. The raspberry tiramisu/tres leches cake (special) was also yummy. A lot of their desserts looked good - I'll definitely be back to try more. AMBIANCE: The environment is super pretty - inside has a homey, comfy feel, and there's plenty of nice outdoor seating. Definitely a good place for celebrations/get-togethers.

You must go and enjoy food there! It was a bit difficult for finding the restaurant! We passed through and went back, then found it was behind a liquor store. The restaurant was divided into three or four sections. Two were indoor and two were outdoor. Very fun decorations on walls and backyard looked comfortable and nice. We had lunch and the crab meat (MP $35) was so awesome which my husband loved it. Mine was steak salad, I got many kinds of veggies in it and was tasty too. For coffee, I was a bit surprised that they Don't Do any FUNCY ones, only traditional American coffee but I had a decaf one. Maybe it is great to keep all things in a simple way. Our server was very nice! She is patient and cared about our food and drinks. We liked their uniforms by the way. It was such a hidden great place to go! In fact, so many people there during lunch time. Highly recommended!!

There's a lot of potential here, but when your wagyu burger costs more than Le Diplomate's iconic burger in DC, I'm expecting something amazing. Every ingredient was very seasoned on its own, but when combined, the burger was overwhelmingly salty. I could barely taste anything besides salt. The cocktails were also overly sweet, and I regrettably had to send them back a couple of times. That said, our waiter's service was excellent. But this place needs a lot of improvement. Way too salty, too greasy, and overpriced.

The waiter was nice but the service was very hit/miss because sometimes we had to wait for him or try to find him but it usually didn't take long. The music was very loud, more like closer to club level than restaurant level, which made it difficult for me to hear most of the time. I am not a true seafood lover as there are very few seafood items I eat but needless to say my husband couldn't say enough positive things about the catfish and grits and the other couple we were with absolutely loved that they got their calypso sauce on the side because then they got to enjoy the flavor and crispiness of the fish. We made a last-minute decision to try for some of the nightly jazz (except Monday) at 18th & 21st on a Friday evening (Oct 2025), hip-ly named for the prohibition amendment and repeal :-) There's a free parking garage right across from the entrance of the building they share with a sister restaurant, Cured. We arrived in the bright seasonally-decorated welcoming lobby about 7:50pm. We ought to have made reservations, but in under 10min, the reception staff took us to the more intimate room towards the back where we were seated at at the bar, which is really what we wanted. When we arrived, the 6pm jazz band had just gone on break, so we felt free to chat with friendly regulars and with the bar staff. They have a changing list of ten craft beers from $6 to $21, plus one $6 non-alcoholic brew. Five of the $14-$35 per-glass vintage wines from their list of 17 are preserved with the "corovin" system that keeps air out, so they are never "corked". We focussed on their list of 11 crafted $13-$22 cocktails plus 5 non-alcoholic ones, all made with quality ingredients, each naming the staff member(s) (and guests) who formulated the recipe! We found Alex's $16 Fernetinez sublimely sweet: of bitter fernet amaro, Frederick-based locally-sourced award-winning McClintock One Last Time gin (exclusive for 18th&21st), smooth Luxardo liqueur, and a sweet vermouth. We loved the aroma and flavor of the classic Smoked Old Fashioned of bourbon from Kentucky's 10th-oldest distillery, Green River, moved to a mild well-rounded sweetness by brown sugar simple syrup, smoked in front of me by Mike (if i remember), with added richness from smoky bitters. They have a creative menu of $30 to $65 entrees, plus salads, small plates, apps, and sides, and they have a changing menu of small plates. We really hadn't planned on eating, but we couldn't resist. The $17 duck bao buns had thin tender filets with a sweet lightly-salty apricot-soy glaze and a tangy crunchy pickled cucumber slaw on a soft folded yeasted slightly-sweet white-flour bun. The $12 pair of fried fresh-tasting oysters were sweet and juicy with a light-flavored crunchy crust. They were so yummy, and easy to enjoy with our cocktails. Rodney Kelly's jazz band was excellent, playing with spirit, joking with each other and the audience, even staging a song or two with a skilled member of the restaurant staff. Afterwards we had brief moments with some of the band members, like an intimate jazz club. Later in the evening, i also had a Turkish Sunset, a Manhattan-variation created in a collaboration among the staff and a guest (Well-done Ozzie!). I love Elijah Craig, and wanted to try their dry toasted rye, with housemade allspice dram syrup, Small Hands grenadine, and bitters. By now, i felt very much at home with the staff, and when i learned that one of them had helped formulate this beverage, i confided that its amazing complexity was, for me, just a touch too dry. Alex (if i remember) considered the ingredients and the target flavors, and added just a touch of a sweet lemony liqueur, perfectly complimenting the recipe's flavors! Real-time crafting goes above and beyond, Thank you! (And when they next update the menu, maybe they'll have a custom option named for me :-)
