Overall: fast casual bowls with a base, veg, and protein, small shop with some seating and tropical decor This place was fine. There was nothing noteworthy in positive or negative directions. We all finished our meals, it felt relatively healthy and plenty filling. The price felt right for the serving sizes. Every meat and vegetable had different marinades and seasonings, which can be good but it also made it a little hard to match the flavors in a way that made a good combo. The shrimp and steak were a little chewy. My vegetables were delicious. The japchae (sweet potato noodles) were very ginger-forward. R&B music was blasting. The shop is small and where the doors are located, cold air would blast on us every time the someone entered or exited. The systems in place weren't super efficient, but the employees were kind.

The food was excellent! I love the freshness. The service was efficient and pleasant. The ambiance was quiet,I would have like some background music.

MUST TRY without a doubt the best HEALTHY food ever! I mean you get so much for such a great price. Everything is gluten free and so so healthy tasty. The location is welcoming, clean, and staff is friendly and patient. I stepped a bit out of my comfort zone and completely WORTH IT! I love this place and would love to have more location preferably in Rockville area! Would be a great addition to the Montgomery county area! MUST COME VISIT TRUST ME !

I really like this QSR concept. Food is made fresh, a lot of gluten free options and very health conscious. I like the build your bowl option and they feature a lot of variety. I usually get their coconut rice, sesame noodles, roasted mushrooms, sesame ginger broccoli, bbq chicken, Caribbean jerk chicken, or the key west chicken. The sauces are also very good and I recommend putting them on the side. Definitely get the citrus ginger and cilantro vinaigrette. Service here is really quick. Don't forget to download the app to earn and redeem points. Also if you have the Inkind app you can use points from there as well. I will definitely be back to try their other protein options.

Great new lunch place! Excited to find this new spot. The food is delicious and fresh. I got a protein bowl which was steak and broccoli and Brussels sprouts over noodles. My friend got a Luau chicken bowl which was bbq chicken and green beans over rice. The shop is small but does have tables for dining in. Coke fountain soda for the win. The staff was friendly and fast.

This place has reminded me that you can have both - eat healthy AND still be delicious. Tried 3 signature bowls to go: Big Kahuna Bowl, Protein Paradise Bowl, and Spicy Ahi Aloha Bowl. The big kahuna had bbq chicken, which turns out to be my favorite protein of the bunch. The rice, cauliflower, and grilled steak were decent. The green beans were okay, could be cooked a little longer. It came with a cilantro vinaigrette which I thought had an interesting flavor profile, I think I'd try a different sauce next time. Protein Paradise was my favorite. I really enjoyed the sesame noodles with Brussel sprouts, broccoli, steak and the creamy wasabi sauce. I felt like this combo mix made sense. Spicy Ahi Aloha was good too. Basically protein paradise but switch the protein for ahi tuna, which was decent. Service was friendly and quick. They had my to-go order ready to go. Restaurant appeared clean. Would come back again and get the bbq chicken, and to possibly try other bowls.

So they said this is the only one of its kind in Maryland. I was drawn into the store by the colorful signage lol. The place reminds me of like a healthier Chipotle meets tropical smoothie. I didn't get any food but got the tropical green smoothie and subbed the bananas out with strawberries. I definitely enjoyed it! Some of the food options (chicken and buffalo cauliflower) looked a little dry but the serving bowls were almost empty and it was almost closing time. I'd probably give it another chance but earlier in the day.

Part 2 of 2 for the letter M. M is for Mahana Fresh. This place is pretty new, opening in January 2025 (or perhaps slightly before). My girlfriend & I went on Sunday, February 2 before a movie as they were running a promotion plus participate in the InKind app for additional discount. It's assembly line where you pick the various ingredients you want. It's a Hawaiian theme place. It's a generous portion of food, and the staff is nice. When I got the cashier, he explained the one promotion I was going for didn't work because I would've had to go and get specific items every month, but I still get the InKind discount. The food was delicious. We returned again on Sunday, April 27; this time after a movie. I was hangry, but overall, it was a good experience and satisfied my hunger. The place is clean including restrooms & comfortable seating area.

Tried Mahana fresh for the first time and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and quick. The food selections were good and the quantity of food you receive for the price is very acceptable. I did a custom bowl. The food was warm and fresh. There are only two thing that I would note. The chicken was a little chewy and the snickerdoodles lacked flavor(so I will pass on them next time). Overall it a nice place to pick up a meal.

This is place is exactly what I've been looking for! It's got delicious, healthy food, and great fast service. I like how you can build your bowl, the large bowl has 2 bases, 2 proteins, and 2 vegetables. I got a large bowl with coconut rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, shrimp, broccoli and sweet potatoes. My bowl was flavorful and plentiful. It was big enough for 2 meals for me. The place is brand new and clean; walk up to the counter, build your ingredients in the bowl, and pay at the end of the line. Wonderful first time going to this place. I will definitely be back very soon, to try other items such as their steak, ahi tuna, Brussels sprouts, green beans, etc..

Service was nice and quick and the food was just as good as it looks That jerk chicken bowl is a must try! Highly recommend

Top: steak, chicken, rice, feta, and sides. Bottom: Teriyaki, bbq chicken, rice, noodles, and sides.

This place just opened up about a few weeks ago. We were initially planning to get chipotle but saw this place next door and decided to try it and I have to say, I am very pleased and impressed. The food quality is delicious - they had various well seasoned protein, veggies, sides, and fantastic sauces. They have ice tea, vending machine, fountain, and special fruit flavored drinks. The service was great, they are not stingy with their portions at all and will definitely give great recommendations with food. The ambiance is super clean, calm music, and just an overall well put place. The best part is the meal portion. Let me tell you - they are not kidding around with how big the slices are for their protein and vegetables. They are not stingy AT ALL like some other places. The size of the meal is much bigger and a little cheaper than chipotle or similar restaurants. If you didn't listen to anything today, listen to me - you have to try this place at least once. I will definitely be coming back!!!

Build Your Own: Kale Crunch base, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms, Tofu, and Guacamole.

Mahana Fresh was such a pleasant surprise. They offer a wide range of fresh veggies and meats, and you can choose from their curated bowls or build your own -- which I did. Everything tasted clean, bright, and genuinely fresh. It was one of those meals that makes your whole body exhale... the kind where you can feel your insides smiling because you know you just fed yourself something healthy and good. A simple, nourishing win.

The duck fries as an appetizer were good but needed to be seasoned with a little more salt. I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! The staff are nice, but service and the kitchen seemed a bit slow on a Sunday early afternoon towards the very end of brunch despite the area we were seated only had a few tables filled. The Crab Cake Eggs Benedict was nothing special - feeling like a flat, single-note dish.. Perhaps it was that the hollandaise sauce lacked the acidity (usually from lemon juice) to brighten the dish. Or, that the nod to Maryland - the Old Bay honey - drizzled around the edges of the dish wasn't enough to elevate it to something that is savored with each bite. The Fluffernutter Blondie is a good dessert choice if you love blondies and peanut butter. Although, it was a bit drier than I'd like, the texture was still soft.

They were definitely very busy but our server was still attentive and friendly. My friend ordered a flight of wine and I ordered a glass of the Poggio Le Volpe, 'Roma Rosso'. The wine, as always was delicious. My friend ordered the IBWC Fall Burger and I ordered the Grilled Bistro Steak Frites. The Steak was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We had also ordered side Caesar salads. It was restaurant week and neither of us opted into the the 3 courses for a price option but our server did kindly inform us that she grouped it that way to help us save and include the dessert. We ended up getting the Nutella dessert (I don't recall what it was called). While the presentation wasn't great, it was very good and I would recommend it. Wish I liced closer so I could come here more often but it is one of my favorites in the area.

Great addition to the restaurant park in Columbia…read more We finally had a rare date night and decided to try this new spot. It was not crowded at 5pm so we were served very quickly. We enjoyed hot wings and bao buns as our appetizer and shared a black and blue burger for our meal. My dark and stormy was a great pick as well. Helpful attentive staff.

Brunch at Elliott's Craft Kitchen: A Promising Start With a Few Missed Beats…read more.. I recently visited Elliott's Craft Kitchen a fairly new spot that my group of four decided to try out for brunch. We were hoping for a fresh experience, but our visit turned out to be a mixed bag. Ambiance and First Impressions... When we arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, which was a bit of a head-scratcher for brunch time. Even though we could hear staff chatting in the back, it took a good five to eight minutes before anyone came out to seat us. Once we were seated, we noticed the lighting was so dim that we actually had to whip out our phones just to read the menu. Not exactly the cozy brunch vibe we were hoping for. The Food: Hits and Misses... On to the food. We started with the cream of crab soup, which was just okay--nothing to write home about. The Brussels sprouts were a bit of a letdown. They were tiny and mostly just fried leaves rather than the hearty sprouts we expected. So if you're imagining those classic roasted Brussels sprouts, this wasn't it. The chicken and waffles were decent in flavor, although the presentation could have used some polish. The pita bread for the crab dip could have been toasted or something more firm and doesn't taste like it was immediately pulled from a bag. Surprisingly, the star of the meal ended up being something as simple as the French fries. They were really tasty and stood out more than some of the fancier dishes. Service and the Final Stretch... Our server was kind and polite, which we appreciated. But the big hiccup came at the end. Their payment system went down, and we ended up waiting over 30 minutes just to settle the bill. After sitting for about 15 minutes we informed our server that we would like to wait in the lounge area to get more comfortable as I understand.... things happen. Although while we waited for about 20 minutes there were no offers of water or anything to make the wait less awkward (not to mention asking for payment without even presenting a bill). It felt like they were more focused on turning the table than making sure we were okay during the delay. Although maybe it was an awkward start to the morning. I will say our server did her best to work things out with the technology she was given. So, I still provided her a fair tip, not her fault. Value for Money... In terms of pricing, it felt pretty average overall, but there were a few eyebrow-raisers. For instance, the avocado toasted croissant--topped with over-easy eggs, baby spinach, and Grana Padano--was $19, which felt a bit steep for what it was. In comparison, a pork schnitzel dish was around $21. So, while the pricing wasn't outrageous, some items definitely made me pause and question the value. Overall Thoughts... In the end, my experience at Elliott's Craft Kitchen was a bit of a letdown. So I'm surprised by some of the reviews (maybe because it was not dinner). While there were a few highlights (like the fries and a well-made Old Fashioned), the service hiccups and the underwhelming dishes mean I'd probably think twice before going back. Definitely not for brunch but I would really consider Dinner after some more reviews. Hopefully they'll iron out the kinks as they get more established.

I attribute the faster service as the bar is right by the kitchen. Given that in the past service was slow, my hubby placed our order while I shopped at Target in the same shopping center. I shopped for approximately ten minutes and when I got to BJ's, our order came out a minute after I sat down. We ordered and shared our dinner. We got the spinach and artichoke dip for an app. For our entree we got the prime rib, which is only available on weekends. For our two sides, we selected the mashed potatoes and rice pilaf, and the triple chocolate for the pizookie. Our server misheard and gave us the chocolate chunk, but decided just to keep it. We enjoyed everything! No complaints, just happy and full bellies. We used a $100 gift card we received for the holidays and have $50 remaining to use at a future visit. I was delighted with the food and service from start to finish. Yay!!

I went there today thinking to have lunch but ended up sending it back and leaving. I swear to god that it was inedible. I had their version of a french dip and it was like eating beef jerky with a side of dipping sauce. I have never sent back anything that I have ordered before but this was beyond the pale. I had one bite and it was literally hard to swallow. If you want beer then go there but if you also want food find somewhere else.
