This place is more of a night time dive-bar and that's what it's aimed at so my review is not for that. We visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a low-key drink experience while watching some sports on TV. This isn't a sports bar but we found it a great place for our purposes and we really enjoyed the divey aesthetic on a warm early-Spring Sunday. I'm not a fan of crowded bars so I won't be coming back to see the music most likely, but they appear to have a nice setup for plenty of people to enjoy a show and get drinks at either of the bars without too much fuss.

Local bar, good music and average drink selection. I live VERY close to The Deck and really like it as a local hang out. It is a "club" so you will need to buy a membership for $5 but it's good for a year. It is a true dive bar with random decorations, average bathrooms and your classic beer and liquor selection. Stick with a beer or standard cocktail like a vodka soda or gin and tonic. They recently remodeled their bathrooms and those are fully functioning now so disregard the ports potty reviews as those are gone. Bands and trivia nights are great and their patio is truly unmatched

If you're looking for a cold drink and great company then you will not be disappointed! No frills, no craft cocktails, no fancy anything...but you will find some local favorites and some of the friendliest bartenders around! Pro tip: ask the bartenders for their specials!

If you're looking for a time machine back to your youth, The Deck is your place! It's a fun outdoorsy bar with live music and a college dive bar feel. You do have to buy a membership which is only $5 a year so it's reasonable. We will definitely be back again!

Cool spot to enjoy live music, dance and enjoy a drink. I think Friday nights is more for a younger crowd (kids in their 20s) and Saturdays is when the older folks come out. Anyhow, there's always a blend of different generations having a good time

DECARLO BAND COMING MAY 7 I've seen DECARLO (Boston's lead Singer) before in W-S, and this band is absolutely FANTASTIC! Close your eyes, and you'll swear you are listing to BOSTON's greatest hits! However, charging $20, $30, and $50 to see DECARLO at THE DECK on May 7th is beyond EXCESSIVE! It is shameful and greedy! Major venues command these steep prices for CONCERT TOURS. THE DECK is just a neighborhood bar, not the Greensboro Coliseum. I won't be attending because of the admission price. I think others will skip THE DECK on May 7. Only time will tell. Maybe THE DECK will come to its senses and reduce the admission prices.

their sink, been broken and filled w dirty vomit/piss water for months. the rest of the place is filthy too.

If you like watered down overpriced drinks, disgusting porta potties and rude bartenders come here!! The music they hire is barely tolerable even when blackout drunk. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else, after hours, kickback jacks even APPLEBEES is better than here. Not to mention their women's restroom is probably a breeding ground for COVID and a whole host of other diseases! Sinks here haven't worked for months so do y'all really want bartenders with dirty hands making your drink??? Someone get the health department in there ASAP!! The management here is horrible. Treats their paying customers who keep them afloat during covid like TRASH. This is a place for old grimey deadbeat alcoholics who're too drunk to notice that the staff are watering down their drinks and harassing them.

Fun, unpretentious place to hang out. Planning to take friends from out of town next time they visit.

Just a cool outdoor venue with plenty of seating, great bands from around the Triad, and reasonably priced food choices.

The first was a craft beer festival in the spring, and it was a great outdoor venue for walking around and casually sampling many different beers. Our second visit was to see a Larry Fleet concert, and again was a great experience. It is small enough to feel like an intimate show, but large enough to not feel crowded despite a strong turnout. Alcohol pricing is perfectly reasonable and with a capable bar, and it's nice having food trucks. Add to that nearby free parking and easy entry, and what's not to love for a concert venue?? On a cold October night, we really appreciated having the fire pits burning not only for the warmth but also that wonderful smoky smell that fits the season. It's really nice having a decent venue so close to home, and I'm trying to remember to check their website more often for upcoming events.

It's outdoors, so there is good and bad with that. You can be rained out, and it can be quite hot, but for the most part it works and is flexible. We went to a concert and the sound was fine, but I don't think that is necessarily Ziggy's fault anyway. There were separate areas for purchasing drinks. I do think they need to change the way the drink lines work because they were loooong and some lines were only half-staffed. The staff running the place were super friendly and really busting it. Overall, they've got a nice space and a bunch of nice people working for them. At this point, it's all just minor tweaks.

What an improvement!!…read more I haven't been here in a few years and the last concert had us waiting outside in line for hours. And hours. It was miserable. The show started late and I still don't even know what the reason was. There was no communication. But that was then. It was smooth sailing from there, absolutely nothing negative I could say! We had a front row spot, the sound was awesome, the bands were incredible. Great venue, cool disco ball, sweet lights. Aside from that, the air wasn't working properly and we were all dripping in sweat. Friendly staff last night even though they were clueless about the parking. It's small, making for more intimate performances, but not too small, so they get some decent acts coming through. They offer a full bar with beer, mixed drinks and even THC seltzers. However, the quality of the performance more than made up for it. There were a lot of specialty drinks available, but I just opted for some sodas. Service at the bar was friendly and they were making their way through the line quickly. The energy in the space was good and it seemed like a true music lover's haven. One challenge I had was that there didn't seem to be any seating options for general admission. Even offering a couple of off-to-the-side seats for a rest would be handy, since staying on your feet for a few hours straight can get a little tiring. Perhaps that was a possiblity and I missed it. There was seating in the VIP sections though and the price differential didn't seem too dramatic. Seriously, no bad view in the place due to the venue being so small. I'd absolutely recommend checking out a show here!
