As her slogan goes "Custom cakes for custom memories!" Best cake I can get anywhere, not only looking good but tastes great too.

If I could only choose one bakery for the rest of my life, it would be Coco Cake Bakery…read more Coco is not a traditional French bakery, although it could easily outperform most of them without breaking a sweat. It is something rarer, a kind of culinary alchemy where the soul of a Mexican bakery meets the precision of a French one and then raises the roof entirely. Everything here is made in house, which sounds obvious until you realize how few places actually do it. Fillings, toppings, doughs, creams, all of it crafted from scratch with the kind of intention you can taste. I had a pineapple empanada where the pineapple still had texture, real structure, not the mush you find in lesser hands. We have had the tres leches cake, a genuine masterpiece, and the sweet rolls which might very well be the best anywhere. Most bakeries load their cases with dozens of options and hit "pretty good" on most of them. Coco chooses fewer and executes each one perfectly. That is the difference. This is a place you want to see still standing twenty years from now, doing exactly what it is doing today, untouched by shortcuts or trends. Because Coco is built on something deeper. You can feel the heritage in the pastries, a lineage that did not come from a school or from climbing the ladder in someone else's kitchen. These recipes feel like they came from the old lands and were brought forward with respect. No corners cut, no fast rising yeast, no modern twists for the sake of novelty. Just the way things were meant to be made. My "triad of culinary excellence" holds strong here. Ambiance: the smell alone is heavenly, and the space is clean, warm, and inviting. Service: above and beyond, with the baker himself willing to accommodate anything you ask and owners who are as genuine as they are talented. Pastries: excellent, full stop. You can taste the love and the pride in every single one. When the sweet rolls came out hot from the oven, the aroma of sugar and yeast filled the air and made every other bakery's attempt feel inadequate by comparison. Coco doesn't just make pastries, it restores your faith in what a bakery is supposed to be. If you have only one bakery left to choose, make it this one. Coco Cake Bakery is the standard.

Heard about this bakery from Alma S. and just happened to be in the area, so we decided to check it…read moreout. The bakery is super cute with different things to offer. They had different baked items like conchas, empanadas, and cinnamon buns inside these cabinets. There are also a table with different cookies and slices of cakes in the frigerated area. There was a tray and tongs at the main table for you to pick your items. The cabinets have glass doors, and the cookie display are also glass. I was there with my 3 year old, so I made sure we were extra careful because he's like a bull in china shop. We checked out and since we spent a certain amount, we got a chance to get 5% off on their toy basketball hoop. Super fun idea! They also gave some candy to my little one. The mentioned they offer custom cakes and need advance notice for it. We brought home our goodies and they were delicious! The empanadas weren't too sweet and the conchas and cookies were spot on. Definitely taste freshly homemade. A wonderful bakery and we can't wait to try more.
