      Cannot recommend enough! We got cookies for a flamingo/tropical baby shower for a girl. The cookies were so precious and impressive, plus everyone commented on how DELICIOUS they were too - it was hard to believe something so pretty would also taste so great! Haha Will definitely reach out again for our next event.

      The branded cookies that I ordered for an event came out really amazing! Jeanette was on target with the design that I wanted and the colors and I highly recommend not only her cookies but a lot of her desserts and treats, they are so yummy.

      Jeanette is WONDERFUL! I needed 40 cookies wrapped individually and tags put on them- with only a 6 day notice. She responded quickly and her pricing is extremely reasonable. Her presentation of the cookies and her business is phenomenal. I can recommend her enough! She even through is some complimentary caramels- don't go to the big name cookie companies- shop local and support this incredible small business.

      I reached out to Jeanette to inquire about custom sugar cookies for baby shower favors. The process was so easy and she was quick to respond! She nailed the cookie inspiration photo and even used the colors from the baby shower invitation! The packaging deserves five stars as well because she individually seals each cookie for freshness and includes an ingredient label for those with dietary restrictions. When I picked up the cookies I told her was getting married next year and she gave me a free copy of Real Weddings magazine which was really nice. I highly recommend Rising Simplicity!

      Jeanette is my go-to dessert hook up for all of my big events. I always order a couple dozen of her decorative sugar cookies and the sweet and salty pretzels, which are my absolute favorite! Jeanette is so creative and has made beautiful cookies to fit with any theme that I request, with coordinating colors for the drizzle on the pretzels. I can also send her inspiration cookies that I've seen on Pinterest and she puts her own twist on them. Since Covid hit, Jeanette has been great with individually packaging each cookie to give away as favors if needed. She always uses matching ribbons too and the presentation is beautiful. Communicating with Jeanette is super easy as well and she is responsive via text. She also provides contactless delivery of the cookies the day before the event. The cookies are always delicious and sometimes too pretty to eat! Rising Simplicity is the best and I can't wait until we can gather safely so I can order more of the cookies and pretzels for future big events!

        Rising Simplicity was started by owner, Jeanette McKee and encouraged by many people who have been recipients of Jeanette's baking, hospitality and love of teaching people how to efficiently Meal Plan. With a sales background in kitchen tools and as a former kitchen consultant for several years, and a former business owner of a catering company, Jeanette has combined her knowledge and skills into what she is most familiar with and has a passion for. As much as she is able to, she implements healthier ingredients into her baked goods, swapping out oils with natural purees and other healthier options without compromising flavors. She has created recipes that have been tested and approved by some of the finest taste testers.

        Meet the Business Owner: Jeanette M.

        Graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, entrepreneur and passionate of all things culinary, Jeanette uses her gift of hospitality and background in sales to offer a variety of services to the needs of customers. Jeanette grew up baking and learning to be creative with ingredients at an early age. She spent many years raising her, now four adult children, selling kitchen tools and practicing her culinary skills. She is passionate in teaching others ways to improve their skills, offers kitchen tips, meal planning, prepping and presentation strategies. Jeanette pursued her dream of attending culinary school and completed the program with an externship in Istanbul, Turkey where she worked as a Pastry Chef for Maria's Cheesecakes. An experience of a lifetime, Jeanette was inspired and encouraged to pursue her passion in the culinary world. Jeanette loves to help people implement Healthy Meal planning Strategies that make cooking enjoyable and more efficient with time saving tips and concepts.

In short, by the time I spoke with her, I was heading towards hot-mess territory. This woman was so kind, understanding and (so very, very) patient that I actually felt calmer after we spoke. Beyond that, the presentation box was elegant (each chocolate nestled inside like a little jewel) and placed in a simple white gift bag with a tasteful satin bow tied jauntily around the handles. But the best part, for me, was a lovely note composed by the owner that was better than anything I could have written myself. Plus, she printed it with purple ink because I mentioned that was MIL's favorite color. I mean, does it get better? So, definitely, going back for future chocolate needs. Hopefully not the day of, next time.

It was hard not over order as everything on the menu sound and looks so tasty! We end up doing a black sesame ice cream, purple rain, and cotton candy cloud 9. Ice cream was so creamy and delicious and each item was presented beautifully! Restroom was a one stall but very clean and cute black/white theme. You just have ant to look around at the decor in this place. It's cute! I gotta come back to try pastries as I don't barely had room after dinner.

This restaurant was the same location for that promising Mexican restaurant just before COVID hit and was thus, forced to close. The inside was not too big, it was just the right size. Nothing fancy but I didn't go there for the fancy. I was there for the sushi and deep fried soft shell crab. The soft shell crab was crispy, just a little bit too done but had a nice crunch and the serving size was perfect. The sashimi were sliced in a variety of thinness/thickness, I guess depending on the fish. The sake/salmon was thick enough but the rest were not so much. But, it's AYCE so just double the order for each fish and you'll satisfy that sashimi cravings you've been having since last weekend. Also, surprise, surprise. They also have amaebi. One of my favorite nigiris. Sadly, the deep fried head didn't come with it only for us to find out that we had to specifically ask for it. I understand because many don't want to try the head, so food waste is minimal. To the service and staff I go. They came by our table asking if we would like to order some more. Albeit not too busy, maybe 10 tables at the same time we were there, but it's nice that they approach you not for the purpose of rushing you but to make sure you've had your fill of your favorite nigiri/sashimi/maki and the variety of rolls. It was a good experience. The staff made our visit a successful experience. The choices for food was expansive and I was not disappointed at all. Thank you Sake.
