Smart move on the owners part to rename and rebrand as Home Decor Warehouse because they sell so much more than just baskets and fake flowers! Although they are right on route 72 the location is rather off the beaten trail. They share the building with the gem store but otherwise are the only retailer nearby in an area that's fairly rural. Don't avoid shopping here because of the distance or you'll miss out, especially if you are into the current trend; modern farmhouse. I'm pretty sure they would make Joanna Gaines proud! Anything and everything modern farmhouse you'll find, plus a few surprises for indoors and out. Make sure you allow yourself ample time to go up and down each isle because there's always something new to discover. Prices aren't deep discount but they are reasonable and the inventory is unique enough that if you see it here you won't find it anywhere else. They also still sell faux flowers and greenery but the majority of the store is household items and decor. You'll also find some furniture pieces and they do have a room set up of outdoor room displays with everything for sale. Even if you don't buy the way they do the displays will give you tons of inspiration for your own home. This past Sunday I stopped in and their outdoor planters were 50% off. I'm talking high quality glazed ceramic pots in all sizes. The selection was picked thru if you're looking for a pair but they still had a variety of individual sizes. The staff is always very pleasant too and will be happy to help you load your car if need be. The older woman at the front cash register is the owner's mother and very personable and also eager to assist. WORTH NOTING: Closed Mondays.

The Olde Mill House Shoppes is two different buildings - the old stone house and an old barn - that have a wide selection of stuff that women love to shop like rugs, furniture, lighting, home decor, kitchen gadgets, pantry items, women's clothing and accessories. They also have a floral department that I think makes wreaths. My favorite part of the shoppes was the old stone house. Aside from admiring the lovely architecture I enjoyed looked at kitchen gadgets, kitchen decor, pantry items like bread mixes and such. I loved the creek of the floors too. It was a very charming experience. A lot of the furniture was definitely in the Shaker and colonial styles. The lighting section was amazing. Lots of early American inspired design lighting. I wasn't in the market for lighting so I moved on to other things. The rug section was fun to peruse. I saw they sold one of my favorite brands - Dash and Albert. They also had a lot of braided rugs. Regarding the clothing section in the refurbished barn, it wasn't really my style but it seemed like there were some regular customer in there having an absolute ball shopping for some new outfits. It kind of reminded me of the fun, comfy and colorful styles you might find at Chico's. Aside from the above, there was plenty more to look at like some linens, wall art, candles, etc. Overall, this was a fun place to explore and a great place to stop in while in Lancaster County.

Hi Todd, Thanks for your reply... Here's my perspective:…read more I am unhappy with the mattress selection. Your salesperson, Kelly, indicated to me that I needed a firm mattress based on the assessment criteria used by your firm. When I was concerned about the mattress not being right, she said, "Don't worry, we're a family-owned company, we'll make take care of you". It shouldn't matter what documents I signed, if you don't sell quality service or products, it will come back to you. I am a dissatisfied customer at this point. Given the very high margins on mattresses, you'd think that you could do more to help a customer that was given the wrong mattress for whatever reason. At this point I have spent in excess of $3000.00 in chiropractic care and eventually a similar sum in physical therapy (still ongoing) to attempt to repair the damage to my back that this mattress has caused. It seems that you are not standing behind the products that you sell. You are answering calls and emails but your firm is not doing anything to improve the situation for the customer. It shouldn't matter what documents I signed, if you don't sell quality products, it will come back to you (you may notice that I wrote that 2X ). You can choose to hide behind a document or you can help the customer. Ultimately, its your choice... I would think this is an excellent opportunity to show a high level of customer service. I appreciate what Lois has done. However, she was not involved in the buying process until there were problems. Again, it simply seems as if you are standing behind your process and documents instead of providing a quality product or service to the customer. It doesn't matter how much training Lois has if Kelly is selling poor fitting or low quality products. I have been to your showroom 2 additional times to see the quality and firmness of the mattress on the floor. In my opinion, they are not the same mattress. I'd welcome someone to come to my home and cut this mattress open to see if its the same model or if there is a quality issue. The mattress was not stored on its side for more than a week before Lois visited. The pictures that I have taken show the mattress before we stored it on its side prior to Lois's visit. I have stored mattresses in this manner many times with no degradation. Also, I have seen mattresses stored and delivered in this manner many times. I call on you, Todd, to commit to providing a refund or store credit for my purchase. I'm looking forward to you doing the right thing. It would certainly go a long way towards your goal of never seeing a dissatisfied customer. Sincerely, Bill Celline Hi William, I am so sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your mattress selection. I can assure you that as the owner of a family-owned business that has operated in Central PA for over 50 years, it is certainly never my goal to see a dissatisfied customer. We do indeed stand behind our products and want you and all of our customers to be confident that we definitely take care of any structural defects or manufacturing issues and work through these problems with our trusted vendors to ensure that our customers receive quality merchandise. Mattresses and Foundations are Final Sale/Non-Returnable items due to health and hygiene protocols unless there is a verifiable manufacturer's defect. I am confident that you wouldn't want to ever purchase a mattress that someone else had slept on for one night, let alone a few months. Due to the fact that we have you sign a form at the point of purchase acknowledging that All Mattress Sales Are Final, we at INTERIORS HOME go the extra mile to make sure that every possible effort is made to match you up with the perfect sleep system for your comfort and lifestyle needs. All of our staff receives extensive training from each individual bedding manufacturer that we carry and must be certified by our Bedding Specialist, Lois Schultz, who has actually visited your home to inspect the mattress for defects, before they are even permitted to sell bedding. In addition, we have invested in state-of-the-art Body Mapping technology to help aid our customers in selecting a sleep system that is truly a perfect I recently bought a mattress at Interiors. The salesperson assured me that if there was an issue with it, they would "take care of it" as they are a family-owned company. After suffering in pain for months trying to get used to the new mattress, the chiropractor I started going to for my back pain suggested that it could be my mattress... I went back to the store 2x to check the firmness of the mattress I bought. The quality of materials, firmness, and overall construction of the mattress I received were not the same as the one on the showroom floor at Interiors. After numerous visits, calls, and emails... Interiors will not replace or provide a credit. I would strongly urge you to avoid this store as it does not stand behind its products.

Maybe I was too preoccupied with the big box thrifts in the area; Community Aid, Salvation Army, and Goodwill to go out and explore those less known. Do yourself a favor - don't make my mistake! This little thrift store is full of treasures waiting to be discovered and supports a number of ministry projects. Easy to find off Route 72 and open till 8 pm most days this location in a residential neighborhood has its own lot. Inside you'll find displays that will rival any retail store window. The organization is thoughtfully arranged by color/size/garment and it's easy to find exactly what you're looking for. If you're a brand whore you won't be disappointed. I saw many Chico, Dress Barn, and even Michael Koors pieces, all in top notch condition. Several items still had tags attached. While their inventory isn't as plentiful as the big box thrift, it's ample. Quality and current trends were on point. Just like their Palmyra sister store the jewelry display is artfully arranged. Prices were fair. On average shirts ran from $3.99-$5.99, jeans and pants a bit higher. I scored a great pair of like new shoes for $3, Halloween items were just .25 cents apiece - regardless if it was a pair of funky glasses or a full blown costume. While there were only a few, it's worth checking out. Aside from ladies clothing which dominates the store you'll find a men's section, children's clothing, toys, housewares, a very small furniture dept. (with signs saying that area will be transformed into a Christmas area in the next few weeks), housewares, wicker, bric brack, books, + a small card & craft section. While I browsed soft music played overhead and the cashier was very eager to assist in any way she could to enhance your shopping experience. The two dressing rooms were clean, spacious, and had plenty of hooks. A 50% off coupon can be found in some of the weekly rural newspaper editions and they also offer different specials/sales events from time to time. They even accept returns on clothing only up to 14 days. Electronics are checked but you're encouraged to plug in and verify for yourself since they can't be returned. Donations are easy to unload at the dock and I overheard they welcome your donation of unwanted boxes and plastic bags. Now that I know they exist I'll be checking them out more often!
