After relocating to the Bethesda area, I was desperately in need of eyebrow threading. I called ahead Saturday morning and made an appointment, but drove to the wrong location (they have two so be careful). I called the correct place and asked if I could get there 15 minutes late, but they told me to just walk into the location I was in (Sola Salon). Biva was wonderful!! I unintentionally grew out my eyebrows due to COVID, and I was shocked by how symmetrical, full, and well-shaped they were even without filling them in. I have been threading for 6 years and have never been this happy post-threading. The location is great with easy parking. Please go support them! Make sure to call ahead. I think with COVID, they just want to have a heads up for distancing purposes. And be sure to wear a mask. read more

No wait at all, and I was in a chair right away, and being walked through the process when I said it was my first time! Best eyebrow threading place in the area, and i am pretty sure I have tried most, if not all. Pricing for eyebrows is less than everywhere else ($10) plus the have punch cards so you can get a free one after 6 visits. I normally go on the weekends and the wait is never too long. I am very pleased with the work as she is able to shape my eyebrows without making them too thin, and it is much less painful than other threading experiences I have had. read more

When I got here there was a line of people waiting so I went in and asked if I sign in, take a number or just have a seat. The woman in the front chair said you can go to her (pointing to the other woman in the second chair) I'm like oh great no one wants her. Oh well let's try. I've been growing my eyebrows for months, no really months, it was time so I was super nervous but I refuse to wait for this other woman. LISTEN! I've been going to Deepa since I was in the 6th grade when my sister would take me. We used to wait in line at Wheaton mall for her service. I'm 20 now and she has never failed me. I'm so proud of Deepa getting her own little studio, she really is worth it! It's only $10. If you don't have Deepa, her cousin (I think she told me it's her cousin but I cannot remember her name) is just as good! So you'll receive excellent service from either of them. This threading place was only 10 dollars and they applied witch hazel to the plucked areas too which I thought was nice. Staff were welcoming and nice. I was pretty happy with my brows. There were a few stray hairs I plucked later but I'd go here again. The only thing that I wasn't so happy with was the15 minute wait with no queue. There wasn't a clear line but people on chairs and also people leaning against both sides of the wall. I wish they had a waiting system in place or a list that kept track of names. read more
