If I could give zero stars, I would. This company has repeatedly deceived homeowners, making promises they don't keep and leaving people with unanswered questions and incomplete or subpar work. Their communication is abysmal--both with the homeowners they claim to serve and with the independent contractors and reps they rely on to bring in business. As a former sales rep, I can say firsthand that they refuse to pay commissions--even years after jobs have been completed and the company has collected full payment from the customer. This has been a NIGHTMARE! | wish I could rewind time and never have signed up with this company. We are going to the BBB next and please RUN from this company. Trust nothing they say. We signed up in March of 2023... Fast forward almost 17 months and we aren't even hooked up yet. They lie about our inspections and look what they have done to my home. They come out and just leave without communication. They've been trying to "swing the lines" for five months now... Then the senior manager gets on the line and defends all of her employees and does nothing about the customers wishes. We are going to hire an attorney at this point and take them to court to get out of our contract. We are also going to go to the contractors state licensing board as well as California Public utilities commission! This is the worst of the worst companies ever. My installation process took over a year to complete. The technicians had to come back out several times to redo work that should have been completed the first time around. I purchased my home in July of 21, my contract was signed in November of 2022 and they're trying to charge me for July (a partial payment), August, September, and October even though my contract wasn't signed until November. They have verry POOR customer service skill, very POOR communication, no honesty or integrity, no moral values, and all their agents are liars, and they sell you LIES just to get you to sign their contract. The very worst part of my experience with this company is that when they were doing the install the technician that went into my addict damaged my ducting and didn't say anything about, I found out about it a year later when I placed a service call to my home warranty company concerning my AC not properly functioning. read more

Divine installed my system, Summer 2023. When the monsoon hit in August 2023, my bathroom was flooded. Divine people came out and said they fixed it; next rain, water in the bathroom again. I've been calling and talking to them since August 2023; it's December 2024 and still no response--Oh yes, I did get a call from Yasmine in June 2024 saying that my problem would be put in the queue to get fixed, with roofing and drywall people to help. No help, so far. Also, now three of my panels are not producing. I'm posting this, filing with the State Licensing Board, and with their Insurance Company. I have had a bid on getting my roof fixed from another roofing contractor; with solar panel resetting, the bid is over $16,000. This is a follow up on a review i did on Divine power, after the install months ago. The Salesman from Divine Power, on retrospect, harmed myself and The Company equally, he skipped town just as i was getting the install, and he left a few agreements he had with me unresolved. I contacted Dave, and although it took a bit too long to address my issues, acknowledge the Company was left in the dark by this runaway Salesman and it affected other Customers, not just me. I been trying to get a tech to come out and look at an issue about half the arrays not responding to the gate way I'm only operating on half of the panels i looked into im I'm not a solar specialist but the array breaker has been tripping and cannot be turned on it keeps On turning off obviously there's an issue the receptionist keeps telling me a manager will contact me it's been a week and a half but none has contacted me I called every 3 days they keep telling me the same thing. Worst experience I've had in a company. It ranks below Comcast and the DMV. Divine power did not set up the solar system correctly, and two panels were not reporting. It took three weeks of consistent calling to get it fixed. They always said they'd have somebody the next day who never came. Four months later, I came to realize that they never submitted the documents to PG&E to set up my home as a solar home, and I've been paying PG&E $300+/month bills in the expectation that it would come back in credits, and now I'm out four months of credits probably costing me at least $500. I called PG&E today, and to my surprise, they haven't submitted the documents yet. I called Divine Power to send me the documents they claimed they had been sending for four months. I searched through my emails and have not received anything from PG&E or Divine Power. I imagine they would follow up with me after several weeks of not signing the document, but as you can tell, this is a poorly organized company. Divine power might be cheap, but it may cost you headaches and money. After this ordeal, I needed more solar and went with Sunrun. They got everything set up, communicated with me every step of the way, and probably will get me fully connected before Divine Power. read more

If I could give it a -5 star it would be a -4 star. Dishonest installer, lied about knowing how to replace damage sheet rock cause by water leak thru the roof caused by their installer not properly installing solar panels bracket. Than admitting to lying about it after he did more damage in my ceiling. Unbelievable negligent, they came to fix the leaks, said chalking would take care of the leaks. My roof is still leaking, and dry wall is still damaged. Operation manager said he would call back to set time to finish repair, never called back. I hired a general contractor to inspect the install, they did not use flash under the shingle instead they used chalk on some of the bolting of the panel bracketing. As this business is sub contacted by Clean.tech. What a nightmare this is, and now going to have to pursue legal matter. My general contractor recommend to remove all solar panels, brackets, replace damaged shingles, and correctly reinstall solar components. Divine Power was the contractor who installed my solar (I purchased the solar through a different company). The guy they sent out to my house for the initial inspection was incredibly rude; despite the fact that I was going into work late so he could do the inspection, he still showed up 20 minutes late. He was also supposed to answer any questions I had, but instead he just looked at the attic and left. I talked to the owner who apologized and gave me his number for if anything else goes wrong. The people doing the actual installation were very intent on getting it done and getting out as fast as possible. After they were done, I went up onto my roof and found they had drilled holes in the roof by mistake and then filled the holes in with caulk. A couples years down the road, I would be looking at very damaging roof leaks. They also failed to install proper flashing on some of the brackets (again, using caulk as a substitute). I again called the owner, who eventually sent them back to repair my roof properly. Not sure what the deal is with Divine Power, but if they ever work on your roof, make sure to go up there and do a thorough inspection afterward. read more

do not do any business with this company!! the initial install was horrible. the techs left trash all over my property. they broke my r0of tiles as well. once the rain came, there were three different leaks in my roof; each being found after i was assured that all leaks had been fixed. there was damage to my furniture from the leaks that dave macias and troy have refused to pay for. i went through my insurance to address my property damage and was told that because divine power is at fought my claim would be denied. now i have to hire an attorney. despite the solar panels being placed in november, they are still not working!! darnell armstead was the agent who recommended this company. he said he knew dave macias personally! i do not recommend that you work with this guy as well. if i could give them a neg rating i would. do not work with this company. i am in the process of contacting the better business bureau about divine power read more

Divine Solar tells you on their website that customers are treated like family, such B.S. We bought our home in 2019 in Lancaster CA and our solar was installed by the previous owner and paid for upfront 100%. Almost nine weeks ago we noticed a drop in our monthly energy production resulting in a lower "net". We called Divine Solar, talked with one of two representatives "Yasmine" who scheduled a service call one week away on a Monday afternoon with Dave. Unfortunately, Dave called in sick, so no one was able to show up! So, from that point forward we have been calling weekly and Yasmine said we are too busy right now and we have to wait for an opening. After four weeks, Yasmine said the owner "Dave" wanted a picture of our egg shape looking monitor that was in our garage, what for, she did not say! So now we are ending nine weeks of calling, leaving emails, text messages on Yasmini phone number, still no call backs, no app for us to use and monitor our energy usage and basically, they have blown us off 100%! We were told that a service fee of $250 would be required after four weeks of talking and we asked why so much and if there was a senior citizen discount possibly? Of course, we have been waiting for that answer back almost nine weeks come this Friday April 19th, 2024, Divine solar USA in our opinion does NOT value their customers especially since now they got their $$$ from the prior owner! What frustrates everyone here is that there is absolutely NO communication! They have only one phone number, 661-557-0027 which they NEVER answer our calls, or they see our number and refuse to answer? The voice mail tells you to hang up now to leave your message as well no one ever returns our emails they we put on their website! ALL WE CAN SAY, DO NOT USE DIVINE SOLAR USA LOCATED IN BAKERSFIELD CA, THEY ARE TERRIBLE, WILL NOT ANSWER YOUR CALLS NOR ARE THEY DEPENABLE TO SERVICE YOUR EQUIPMENT AFTER THEY GET YOUR MONEY! We will now have to file a complaint with the BBB, or FTC, FCC or whomever we need to, to get any response or service! I'm beginning my solar process so I will be up dating my post as it progresses thus far everything I have discussed with Rob my salesman has been on point today Steve came out and measured my roof and as I expected rob was right my roof is prime for solar and the number of pannels we talked about will in fact fit. So with the total pannels and my usage of pg&e for a year we will be right on target for 105% if production. I'll add more after I hear more. Not sure about the other reviews about this company but thus far excellent customer service and no BS all fact so far. Well it is now over a month since my roof was measured, plans submitted, plans approved and still in a hold pattern, I am being assured that everything is going fine and that it takes time, In comparing other solar installs of friends of mine they started later than june and are already producing power I had my neighbors tree trimmed cost $1000.00 to ensure total possible light on my roof and a few other things not sure what is going on at this point, my patients are wearing thin tho.. Will up date as we advance or stagnate. Well happy to report I got my install date in a week or so I'm happy so these guys actually do what they say they do, I like my rep Rob he has been very honest and put up with my hundreds of questions and never faltered once with a response to my questions with actual facts and examples.
