Thank you to the 3rd party contractor who got my solar system working again after Fuzion essentially held my service repair hostage. Fuzion refused to send a service technician or address my issue unless I signed a non-disclosure agreement. The reason? I left an honest review a few years ago. I was told I needed to sign the NDA and change my rating on that previous review before they would provide service in a timely manner. I paid out of pocket to have an independent contractor diagnose and repair the system. During that process he discovered several installation issues that were not up to code from Fuzion 's original installation. My experience has been that Fuzion is your best friend until the installation is complete. Once they've been paid, you're treated more like an inconvenience than a customer. Looking back, the constant management turnover should have been my first red flag. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but consumers deserve to know what happens after the sales process is over. customer service and accountability seem to disappear once the contract is signed.

Problem solved in under an hour, no expensive service call, the only expense was 2 quarts of oil. After two years, they don't really owe us anything, but clearly they care about their customers. At the time of signing contracts, I had researched several companies and had already signed contracts with another installer before cancelling and going with Heritage Solar. Heritage provided more thorough and convincing information. My first negative review was posted because Heritage's original completion estimate was 2-3 months. My installation ended up taking almost 5 months, which was not significantly longer than estimated, BUT it exceeded what I was promised by the other company- something that was very important in my decision. Because the NEM3 changes are imminent and I read other negative postings about Heritage's failure to respond, I became anxious. I can now state without reservation, that Heritage DOES respond when customers communicate with them. I previously said I would NOT recommend this company. But I now take this back and say in comparison to other solar companies, information I have gained about the timeline of all other solar companies, and my overall satisfaction with the job in its entirety, I DO WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND HERITAGE SOLAR.
