I called ahead to ask if she could do a French manicure using dip powder only, and told her I needed to be somewhere by six, which was 2 hours later. she told me that it wouldn't be a problem and that there would be plenty of time. When I arrive, she immediately filed down my nails, only to then let me know afterwards that she didn't have the proper dip she needed, she didn't have enough time to do a full set, and that I would actually only be able to get a fill, which is the same cost as the full set I wanted. she still had a full hour and a half, and i already had told her exactly what i wanted, so i was extremely frustrated and left immediately, with my nails looking significantly worse than when i arrived. really unprofessional. wouldn't recommend to anyone. also the salon itself was messy with boxes of food everywhere. not very appealing. read more

Every time I've gone, my nails turn out perfectly. She is fast and efficient and does a great job. She also has great prices. I didn't have childcare and she let me bring my baby so I could keep my appointment and do some much-needed self care. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Would recommend to everyone 10/10. I had high hopes given the reviews, but was sorely disappointed, since I was not given what I asked for. I showed the nail tech the first picture and asked for a natural, oval, almost almond shaped nail. He shaped the tip and I said it looked good, and then after he added the acrylic he filed the nails down on the sides so much that they became very narrow and pointy. I specifically don't get pointy nails because I'm a mother and that makes life way too difficult. I tried to explain that it was too pointy but he didn't actually fix it. Then I was passed onto the gal who did my polish and my pedicure. The gel polish got on my cuticle and I was going to ask her to fix it, but halfway through my pedicure they had several people show up for appointments (all scheduled for the same time or just shortly after) and there are only two people working, so she didn't get back to me to finish my pedicure for several minutes. There are also bumps and uneven surface on my thumb which I know will affect how long the polish lasts. Since it had been so long I was just waiting for her to finish up so I could go home and forgot to ask her to fix the polish on the cuticle. Not even sure if I can fix this at home. She also didn't even keep my toes under the UV light long enough to cure them between coats so we'll see how long that lasts. I did however go home and immediately filed down my nails to be more rounded since I didn't want to poke my kiddo, or myself, with the nails I was given. This place is pretty busy, so don't expect them to have the time to give you the attention to detail you may want. read more

Removing calluses, cleaning up the cuticles, neatly trimming, and carefully painting the nails. She is friendly but does not have to fill in every minute with mindless chattering. I love Jen, she's the best! The 3 people that work there make a great team! They always ask if they're being too rough and when giving a pedicure they all show affection! Hang nails hurt and I hardly trust anyone to be gentle. I would say I'm extremely pleased and haven't gone anywhere else. I used to go to other shops or nail techs in tri cities and until I took a chance by walking in! They finished my nails and they looked exactly, lemme say it again EXACTLY how I wanted.! Very pleased and price is appropriate for work that's done! Cherry on top of my entire experience Jen helped me with photos and has juice or water available. There are multiple of reasons why the nail tech at this place doesn't deserve at least one star. For one, horrible customer service. When I told her about multiple nails that was glued on crooked she gave me the nastiest attitude. (At the point I should've just left but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but I highly regretted it.) Secondly, the utensils she used was not clean nor sterilized before use. Thirdly, I felt very uncomfortable of expressing to her that she had messed up the shape on more than one nail due to her horrible attitude. The most important thing out of this horrible experience was that my acrylic nails did not last not even three days. They started to detach themselves from my actual nail two days after I got them done. Never again!! read more

Forgive my cuticles pictured! My experience was atrocious and it began all the way from the moment I sat in the chair for a fill. I just moved from out of state and needed to find a new go to salon. In my search, I found Divine. This was the first place I tried and unfortunately the experience was terrible. The tech was unwelcoming and he serviced me too fast! There was inconsistent shaping and he didn't even bother to measure the nail tips for evenness after cutting. After a few days, I also noticed some lifting. Overall, I witnessed zero attention to detail which is something I ALWAYS analyze during the entire process. I regret not stopping him and walking out, but I didn't want to be "that girl" and draw attention. After about 2.5 weeks, I decided to soak them off but to my surprise, I found these disgusting green spots (pictured). I have had acrylics routinely for almost 20 yrs. Never have I experienced this aftermath. Per another another nail tech not associated with Divine, the spots appear to be chloronychia a.k.a "greenies". It's a nail infection that can be caused by poor nail preparation. Given all the circumstances, it makes sense! It's evident that safety and quality practices were not a priority and it's unacceptable for a business like this. Given my history, I know what qualities to look for in a tech that fits my personal needs. I also know what good/bad work looks like. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be returning. read more

This is my second time coming here with my 8-year old and we absolutely love it. My daughter never lets me do her nails at home, but feels super comfortable and spoiled coming here. Today my daughter had an extra special treat and got some "fancy nails." No corners were cut just because my daughter is a kid. I received a pedicure here about a week ago. I'm confused as to why this place is top rated: Pros: Massage chair felt nice They give good feet massages and my feet felt super soft afterwards Cons: Nail polish was chipping not even a week later. Didn't even get a top clear coat. Service is super slow. I made an appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes. Employees kept going into the back room for 20 min intervals through the treatment, as if forgetting they had clients. Spent longer waiting around then I did getting my nails done. When my pedicure was finished, I didn't know what to do as the pedicurist just stood up and left. I didn't know if I had been finished, but after waiting 20 min alone in the salon, I finally decided to get up and try to cash out. The salon was not busy at all, I was the only client in the middle of the day Saturday, and the service was extremely poor, not what you would expect for the apparent "#1" nail salon.
