The flavors were still good but it wasn't a hot dish by any means, and the meatloaf was a bit saltier than I remember. For the pasta dish, the warm bread was hotter than the pasta dish itself. We didn't send it back because I noticed the server was handling dishes returned to the kitchen at the next table, and our dishes weren't cold or anything, they were just warm. I still maintain they absolutely deserve four stars because I suspect the kitchen might have been having an off night and the food was very good (just the meatloaf was a tad salty). The service is so friendly and accommodating, especially to little picky children :) The chocolate cake was especially tasty and so moist. Both of us have traveled extensively, eaten at many excellent restaurants around the world, and this was genuinely one of the better meals we've had. There is no parking. There is no microwave or fridge and no room service. The bed is not comfortable and you can hear everything through the walls and floors. However, other things are inexcusable regardless of how historic the hotel is. The WiFi is not strong (multiple interruptions watching TV) and there was a live roach in the room. The front desk was not very friendly or accommodating. If you're looking for a historic, possibly haunted, hotel with a prime location, you may want to consider the Copper Queen, but would not stay again.
