A wonderful surprise! The greeting was a heartfelt experience. Young ladies greeted us with enthusiasm for both us and the restaurant. The attitude they presented became nothing less than infectious. We soon realized they were a huge part of the perfect atmosphere. Delightful! As for the food... A simple Soup and sandwich restaurant that delivered all but simple. I cannot stop thinking about the flavor and texture since we left 2 weeks ago. We live in Tucson and trust me, 'I will be back'. This is the first weekend they are starting to do a French breakfast I had to try it was amazingly delicious I definitely recommend they are doing this breakfast every weekend from 9 am to 11 am then lunch if your in Bisbee stop by and try their food for yourself. We absolutely love this place! We loved it in its old location even thought it was small. But the new location holy smokes what a step up! Today we were "those people" and came in about 30 minutes before close and they still accommodated us. They had run out of sliced roast beef so they sliced it for us. And let me tell you they did not skimp. The sandwich was Stacked and delicious. They even apologized for the wait. Which was completely unnecessary. Definitely a favorite no matter where it is. Amazing service, generous portions, and super fresh options - plus clean bathrooms! The owner was very friendly, as was our server (I tend to ask a lot of questions, and they were patient and helpful). We wanted to order half a sandwich and salad but didn't see that on the menu. When I asked, they said "no problem," which was a nice surprise. For $15 each, we got what they called a "half" salad, though it was really a full plate - and it was excellent! The HUGE slice of fresh bread with butter that comes with all their salads was beyond good! The Caesar was crisp and flavorful, with homemade croutons that were honestly the highlight of our meal. I also had the club sandwich on their house made sourdough, which was stacked with meats, fresh veggies, and a tangy mayo/mustard spread. I asked the woman behind the counter about desserts, and she happily walked me through everything they had. The place was busy (it's a smaller spot that mostly seats two-tops), but luckily, we didn't have to wait. Still the best spot in Bisbee! It all starts with their homemade bread, that is absolutely to die for. I ordered the spinach quiche (super cheesy and flavorful) with the potato leek soup, which was creamy, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. And of course, a slice of that amazing bread on the side. My partner had the tuna sandwich and was seriously impressed with both the flavor and the quality of the ingredients. We couldn't resist taking a slice of cherry peach pie to go and wow. It was heavenly. Don't leave without trying one of their pies! The ambiance is charmingly bohemian, and the space is clean and inviting. Came back today with a friend She ordered her Green Chili quiche with salad and I just had spinach quiche. My quiche was ok. I found it a tad salty. I ate it all as I was hungry. My complaint today was the service. As soon as the server saw we were done eating, he ignored us. Our water was never refilled. It wasn't even that busy for a Friday early afternoon. He did refill our water once we asked for more. I drank mine as I was thirsty, but then we left to chat more at a new coffee shop in town. read more

Today, we had lunch in downtown Bisbee. I always try to explore new places and soak in the town's unique atmosphere. Cafe Cornucopia was everything I had hoped for and more--exactly what I expected from Bisbee. In stark contrast to my disappointing experience at another restaurant yesterday, today was absolutely perfect. If you love healthy food, a warm and fun-loving staff, and a vibrant setting in one of the most scenic towns in America, this is the place to go. The restaurant is quite small, but the staff does an amazing job of keeping things running smoothly. There are only a couple of tables for larger parties, so when a party of two arrived, the staff handled the seating adjustment with such care and finesse that no one was inconvenienced. It was truly impressive. Everything appears to be homemade, and today's lunch was exceptional. I had the butternut squash soup and spinach quiche, accompanied by homemade bread that was absolutely out of this world. What I really loved was the carefree, happy vibe of everyone who worked there--you can always tell when people truly enjoy what they do. That energy was contagious, making the experience even better. I walked by and saw the window diners eating a totally packed and stacked roast beef sandwich. I didn't even want to order that but I couldn't stop thinking about how delicious and giant it looked. I walked and toured around Bisbee and reminded myself to check reviews. I had to know what customers said about that sandwich. Total fomo. The other diner was having a delicious looking soup with a giant fluffy baked piece of bread. I thought I was in Texas, it looked so perfect. I decide while out and about I was going there for lunch regardless of reviews. My eyes sparkled the rest of the day after seeing all that! Luckily I made it in by 2pm, they closed at 3pm and all tables were full so don't dilly dally if you're planning on dining here. Luckily I spotted 3 counter top seats along the side. I grabbed one and 2 guests shortly after sat next to me. All full. I eyeballed the pie deserts- so hard to decide, all looked so good. I saw reviews for the meatloaf sandwich being "the best ever", I ordered half meatloaf with sweet potato soup and a slice of cherry pie. The meatloaf was also the best I ever tasted. If my mom's meatloaf was that good, I'd have never moved out. It was so thick tender and tasty. I wolfed it down before I got a pic. The sweet potato soup was super good too. And I had a bit of cherry pie which tasted like heaven. Also the hunk of soft crusty buttered bread that accompanied my soup was delicious. Pies looked AMAZING upon walking in and seeing the pie case. Food and service were fine. We didn't like getting charged a built in 25 percent tip without any upfront communication. We saw this after the card was ran and returned to us. After we saw our bill and asked our waitress she responded that's their policy, bottom line, end of story. Again nothing written or communicated verbally. No where else in Bisbee did this during our stay. Not sure if we will return as there are many amazing dining places in town that recognized it's the slow season with tourism down and just so appreciative to have customers patronizing in general. read more

When I politely mentioned this to the waiter, he was visibly annoyed and offered no attempt to make it right. What ultimately confirmed my impression was the owner's public response to my Google review, which was sarcastic and dismissive rather than professional. Constructive feedback was met with attitude instead of accountability, which speaks volumes about how customers are treated here. Enjoyed a quick lunch while visiting Bisbee! The inside is small so seating is fairly limited, but we were able to be seated quickly on a Friday afternoon. We both enjoyed turkey sandwiches-- we appreciated that the sandwiches had a hearty portion of turkey on them! We tried to go here and came in through a gate out front where the patio is. There were tons of patrons out front having food and drinks. But apparently, according to the rude waiter, we weren't supposed to go in that way. There were no signs to indicate there was a separate entry. He cursed us under his breath and told us that "now the gate is broken" thanks to us. We apologized twice and he shook his head angrily at us. We promptly left because we had been made to feel so uncomfortable. The ratings are good but not worth being cussed at. read more

Adding this one to my favorite places in Bisbee list! The interior of the cafe is a excellent reflection of Bisbee. Charming. Cozy. Welcoming. And filled with eclectic artwork so beautiful, that if they decided to charge admission to enter the cafe, my reply would be "cash or card?". The ladies working on the day my husband and I ate there were as charming as the cafe. I'm horrible with names. I want to say her name was Marilyn (Marian?) - such a sweetheart! Customer service queen! Now to the good part... THE FOOD! My husband has a thing about meatloaf. If we go somewhere, before the food even reaches the table, he is going to ask for some type of sauce in preparation to add flavor. My husband ADDED NOTHING to their meatloaf sandwich! He said it was "perfect"! And he was VERY happy with the portion size. I had the vegetarian sandwich with mushroom and spinach soup. It was one of those meals that I had to eat slowly and savor. I can't recall all that was on it, but what sounds like a simple sandwich was a wonderful and flavorful experience. Fresh ingredients, perfectly layered with an impressive blend of flavors. So good I saved half and slowly ate the remainder until early morning the next day. Literally. I love mushrooms and the soup was full of them with a good amount of spinach. Our group needed lunch and this was a great find. Friendly service, clean tables and menu's and kitchenware. The food was served in a timely manner, delicious and filling. The desserts were too big for any one of us to eat. I think the cook shouldn't touch his face with his gloved hands in view of the public but that's just me. Worth a return trip. read more

Terrible the service was so insulting! Server walked up to our table and proceeded to tell us that she might have to move us due to the fact that we were a two top sitting out a four top one of the last two tables in the restaurant available. The two top was by the restrooms in the kitchen door and she said if a four top comes in, I will have to move you. OMG! Who says that are they that hard up? WTH I have never been so mad! Delightful menu of homemade healthy soups and sandwiches. We had the meatloaf sandwich and the clubhouse. Both were enormous and delicious. As others have written, this is a popular place. Plan accordingly. We were there in December at around 2 pm and had the place almost to ourselves, however. The service was good. 1/31/26 When we arrived and almost immediately, they gave us a table for a party of four. The waitress gave us the menu and walked away, 15 minutes later then after several waiters passing by our table, I waved a waiter down. I was not sure if he saw me but I caught on that he was choosing to ignore me, a few minutes later he turned around and took our order. I asked about some items that I had seen online, he share that they no longer had those items so everyone proceeded to order about 20 minutes later our food arrived. We were surprised that basically our meals were half a sandwich with a plain bag of Lay chips. ( did have any other options ) When we asked if the meal was not a full sandwich, he said that we didn't specify. I had a 1/2 meatballs sandwich on Rye it felt like I was eating dog food , flavorless and all I could tasted was the fat. My husband had 1/2 roast beef on 12 grain , literally it was 2 thin slice with a small piece of lettuce, tomato and onion. They gave us the ticket which was $97.73 when we questioned and pointed out that we had a half a sandwich he said oh that was my mistake. we still ended up paying $75.80 and of course no tip !! Overall I can say we will not be going back, the food and the portion was not what we expected. All four of us agreed that it was a waste of our time and money. We could have gone to Safeway and bought all the ingredients for 20 bucks and had a way better sandwich and better experience ! read more

From the moment we walked it to the time we left, our expensive was great! Staff was super friendly. The place was very cute and clean. We walked it right at opening so we got to sit right at the window. The pies looked amazing but we were stuffed. I got a 1/2 club added cucumbers and the leak soup. It came with a slice of homemade bread. Omg all amazing! My friend got the quiche and said great things. The cucumber lemonade was perfect, not too sweet, just the right ratios. Defiantly recommend. Overall our favorite place to eat in Bisbee. We like the combination soup, half sandwich and a slice of homemade bread. The choices are awesome. Soups we have enjoyed- tomato, gorgonzola sausage, Vegan mushroom, and butternut. Sandwiches we love- turkey(roasted in house) avocado, roast beef, green chili mozzarella. I could eat the bread alone! We tried some pies also! Coconut cream, pecan and peach raspberry. I don't think there is anything here that is not delicious.
